I always run my midrange amps on full. I cross the amp over at 80Hz. I fine tune the head unit if I need to take more bass out, but I run PRV full range speakers in the front doors. They sound pretty good.
Prv speakers can handle insane midbass. Puertoricans crack their doors with them 😂
I have the Taramps DS800x4 (same wattage as the TS) aslo small and love it. Have mine running fronts and 2 8" kicker subs.
As long as your between 10am - 10pm you should be aight jamming it out for a few minutes. Just tell them be thankful ur not rite outside. 🙃

Awesome review! Taramps are the way to go for Brazilian full bridge for sure.
I like their 4ch for sure, but for driving subwoofers..PowerUs is where it's at, with full bridge.

Well, you sold me on this amp. I bought a DS440X4, but I hate the connections. This seems much better! I'm returning the DS, and bought the TS800X4!
Yeah that Ds 440x4 is horrible!!!! They keep failing .. I went through 5 of them ..never again cheap
I love that speaker design @ 1:07! The tweeters look awesome. A coned directional design right in the middle. 👍🏻
About the Taramps, I don’t just like em because of the size but because they don’t weigh like a cinder block.

I’ve been watching that since it started.
That amp is really cool. Small but packed with power. Something i really struggled to find on the web is where someone tests flat subs like the kicker comp RT series in a normal enclosure to see how loud it gets..
I like 👍 the Taramps on mids and tweets... just have noticed having to turn down the gain even with 2.5 v pre outs... on my 4x400 Tar hooked to homemade Chuchero 10 boxes

@@ParkerTheBassheadhey Man have you ever received one brand new that was no good ...I recently got a ds 800.4 because I recently bought a bass 8k ...and everything is wired correctly...but the ds800.4 lasted for about 2 mins and then it smoked itself now it doesn't power on , right before it died there was som feedback through my door speakers ........just trying to figure out If this is a common thing

It generates a positive and negative voltage instead of just doing 64v and a ground it does 32v & -32v. Requires less voltage / less components for the same power output.
It would also be why you can't strap any Taramps. Half bridge BECOMES full bridge when you strap 2 amps together.

I think what they mean is the audio that plays at the into is a bit excessive in amplitude. I've noticed alot of channels do it, but don't really recall hearing that here.

I get noise with no music myself. As soon as te music kicks in it goes away just about or I can’t notice it. I returned the amp because I thought it was bad but the new one was the same.

I've become a fan of Taramps, i just say stay away from chinese full bridges. also the black diamond brand has grown on me, they make some really capable class A/B 4ch amps ive fallen in love with. love seein your videos man, keep it up!
got the taramps ds 800x3 1 ohm in a mustang very loud and clear for such a small amp never gets even warm

parker bridge the jp amp turn the amp down should elm the engine whine also check the ground on the radio if it has a shotty ground it will introduce noise in to the system

Hey man can you give me a suggestion for replacement amp my current jl is a class ab from 2011. It sound greats but it takes up too much room in the m3 and it runs hot as hell. The one thing i do like about this amp is the noise floor is very low, that static you spoke of is almost non existent! I’m just commenting on this video but doesn’t have to be a taramps just what ever you got in mind that’s compact and worth giving up what I already have as a considerable replacement 😁
I can't seem to find an answer to the following question: The method of having 3 speaker terminals for 2 channels, (instead of the usual 4 speaker terminals for 2 channels).. does it cause lower sound quality, or other issues in any way? Or is it just as good? Does having the shared terminal between 2 channels have any negative implications?

Question. You seem to be an expert on Taramps. Wanting a Taramps 400x but want to run 4 ohm. Can I get 4 ohm using only RCA plug? Have separate active sub so don't need it to run Sub just want to run 4 door speakers but want to run 4omhs not 2. My door speakers are Memphis PRX57 at 4 omh. Don't really want to go through high level input harness if I don't have too. Other choice is Pioneer GM-A6704 but it is a space monster and A/B and really want class D if I can afford.

I have 4 DS18 Pro-BM 6.5" speakers. The speakers are 4 ohm 250 watts rms a piece & the Taramps 800x4 2 ohm amp is the amp im using. How could i wire these to get the most wattage? Thanks!
The only question I have is how warm does it get whenever you're on full tilt? I just purchased one of these bad boys for my door speakers and that was the only thing I was worried about cuz I'm trying to replace my scar amp currently because it gets hot and cuts off. I'm going to figure out how to wire in a fan for it until I can replace it.
How’s that taramps doing for your highs ? Temps are the reason why I to want an new amp since my old a/b jl 360/4 amp runs hot as shit and it’s the size of the titanic so I can’t even mount it in the factory amp mounting location. I just saw these taramps and before this I had ordered another brazialsn amp which I immediately returned once I found out they are prone to exploding lol that was a stetsom that I returned 🤷🏼♂️ Please let me know how you liked this 800.4?

Sounds like a wiring issue or wherever you got your remote wire tapped into is not a good one
Sounds like you have some feedback issues, or the soft turn on/off(anti thump) circuit is faulty.
@@Chuck_Sanders there isnt a soft turn off feature on Taramps I believe. At least that is what has been said on this channel before. My remote is coming from a relay that powers all my audio accessories. So I dont believe either of those are things I can fix.

I have a 400-4 and it always has a small whine when all the way down not a fan of the gains they are horrible and jumpy not smooth I would buy a different one but already have the taramps should have stuck to the alpine like my sub is on
