Cannot wait for this one, excited!
Got mine now in UK, they feel so nice
Having two Xodus, 10 and Ultra, this one looks narrow too! I hope it comes in wide version, I love Saucony for quality, but find them narrow in toe box, I don’t have narrow feet ! Going forward only wide versions of Saucony!!!
I’ve got the first one and I absolutely love it, can’t wait to try these, top video!
Looks great ‼️ 👍🏻 💪🏻
lookin' goood!
So excited for this one. Lacing system looks better as well. 💪
Saucony came through with an excellent update. Increasing the amount of PEBA and pulling up the sidewalls are smart changes to the shoe. The upper looks more durable too.
This is going to be my trail runner. This colour way.
It’s very nice
That colour looks GRT!!
Hola, saludos desde Colombia, esta versión y las anteriores de los xodus ultra funcionan para "door to trail " ? o cuales me puedes recomendar para door to trail y asfalto? , gracias.
Cannot wait for this one!!
UK release date June 2024.
If I'm wrong, please correct me.
Release them in may please, i need some shoes already 😂
Release date: June 1st
Did I miss the outsole details?
4mm lugs, PWWRTRC (usual) but apparently better for wet, and stickier. Allegedly.
Saucony Xodus Ultra 2 …
My wife, a keen trail runner, has been an avid Saucony supporter for several years … recently, she started using the Xodus Ultra 2 trail shoes.
Her first pair of the Ultra 2’s (bought November 2023) outer layer started tearing at about 200kms of use. We sent these in for investigation and Saucony South Africa’s first reaction was that it is her running style that was causing the tears ( she has been running for over 12 years now and used various competitive brands with no issues), however, Saucony ultimately replaced the shoes. These too failed … this time at 170km of use … same issue. So, we sent them back once more. Feedback was, the outer material might be tearing, but the inner membrane should stay intact … 🤷🏼♂️. Well the inner layer also started tearing a week later. We reached out to fellow runners, none of our group members run Saucony so we could not compare … Anyone else experience this? … the tears seem to start at the outer point of the toe crease. Anyway it’s an excuse to reach for the new Ultra 3 😊
Can’t wait until these come out, stuck with the brilliant, but somewhat boring Trabuco Max 2 until then.
Not everyone has average or wide feet! I have low volume and relatively narrow feet and literally every proper 'Ultra' shoe I try is too wide, with too much volume, so is sloshy up front and also has a poor heel hold... or is too built up/high around the heel and catches my ankle bone. Peregrine 12 (yet to try the 13) and Scarpa Spin Ultra are the only models that I've found work for me here in Europe. Sadly the Salomon Ultra while it fits and is light, just leaves me feeling a little underwhelmed, I think this is a midsole/outsole combination issue compared to the feel and energy return I get from the Peregrine, Genesis is too wide.
Try the Asics Fuji Speed 2 or NB Supercomp Trail if you want Carbon. If not Hoka Speed Goat or Merrell Long Sky 2, Agility Peak 5 or NB Summit Unknown or Dynafit Ultra 50. There are a lot of options.
All just fits narrow feet.
@@scherry2900 the Merrells are on the to try list but I have doubts as reviews say they're similar to the speedgoat which does not work for me. I don't want/need a stiff shoe so Carbon and even nylon plated trail shoes are out. The Fuji Speed aren't really an ultra distance shoe or provide any advantage over my Saucony Peregrines. Dynafit don't fit, can't remember why. But thanks!
not "holding price," up $10 from current Xodus Ultra 2
I have the Xodus ultra 2. Here’s my issue. It’s got the word ‘ultra’ in the name and it’s designated ‘long haul’ shoe per Saucony but the toe box is not wide. It’s like they don’t realize what happens to feet in an ultra.
Yep, they don’t, when landing on your single foot with your weight , your toes spread wide , need room for the toes to expand !
Narrow = hot spot= pain .
@@HS99876Will the Ultra 3 come in Wide?
If ripped two pairs of the ultra 2 with my wide feet after 200k in them. The ultra 1 was beter but less stable. So curious for this one
I don't know why so many are afraid of an anatomical toe box. Just do it for the sake of runners' feet FFS.
@@MadLadsAnonymous don't wide shoes have issues with forefoot slipping in the shoe on off camber terrain.
