Funny, because I found the Endorphin Pro 3 way too cramped in the toe box in a size UK 12 and then have loads of room in the Nike Vaporfly 3 in a UK 12
V3 was the first CP shoe that really worked for me. I’d previously race in the Speed2 but this was a step up for marathon distance in particular. I had an 18:00 PR over the previous year on the same course and while I did train harder and probably fueled better as well, the shoe played a role. It sounds as if I’ll like v4 as much or better. Crossing my fingers….
@@justoutlaw6423 thank, I’ll check some others out. Just got v3 a bit ago and really like that, albeit with only limited miles. I do wonder about super shoes with dual midsoles.
So I started watching this because I’m on the fence buying the Pro 3 or waiting on this shoe, but what blew me away was recognizing the background beat in the video, which was created right here in my house in Rhode Island! I feel like it’s a sign that this is my shoe!
Did my first workout in the Pro 4 today. The upper and the laces are stretchier than the pro 3 - had to retie twice and synch down much harder than I usually would to prevent heel slip. I might try a runner’s knot next time Midsole seems more responsive than the 3 - better for faster paces. Comfort was good too (about the same). The toebox feels a bit wider to me or maybe it’s because it doesn’t taper in as much.
Thank you for your reviews on this shoe in detail. Actually, always been wearing my running shoes in half size upped than my casual shoes and I also have ordered this pair of Endorphin Pro 4 in a half size bigger. Now I'm a bit worried if they'd be too big or roomy on my feet. 🙄😑
Yes, we’re talking about you Nike, re: race shoes that feel strange and unstable running slowly. I’ve loved all the other Endorphins (ok, Shifts notwithstanding). And the Speed 3’s have become my favorite daily trainer for everything but the slowest days. I save some 1’s and 2;s for track day. Will put these on my short list for my new spring marathon shoe. Although, my VaporFly2’s still have another race left in them.
I hated the tonged on the #3 Version it slipped down all the time, I saw that was a big issue for #3. I am hoping this will feel better. Thanks as always!
I agree the tongue always slipped down on my endorphin pro 3. Such a pain to stop during runs to pull it back up. Not sure I want to drop $225 on the pro 4 until I hear they have fixed that issue
Great review! enjoy the chemistry between the two of you, quick question, in terms of a Racing shoe, would you say these are one of the most stable racing shoes, I have developed PTTD recently, so going forward I need a shoe with more arch support, which these seem to have. I'm guessing the 3 is also good for stability relative to other racing shoes.
I believe super shoes are being engineered for all paces. If you have the extra cash, why not train in super shoes and save your muscle fibres? Thanks for the review guys.
I agree as long as they last! Nike dropped the ball when 200 miles and their race day shoes are done! Saucony racers can last 400 miles. That's a big difference when spending $200+ for a shoe! The Speed and Pro are both good all around shoes. I can do everything in the speed and be happy! I have the Pro version 1 with 250 miles. It still has a lot left! Saucony makes their shoes to last! Great Video!
Does training in super shoes means you don’t get the same muscle stimulus as before? Some muscles will work less and others harder - e.g. my calf muscles feel more sore after using plated shoes for lots of training
When saucony releases a new shoe do they discount the previous model! In my opinion the pro 3 looks a lot nicer and I want to snag that one for my marathon. Idk if I should wait or just pull the trigger!
Would you recommend the Saucony Pro 4 or are the Saucony Elite for marathons? I raced in the Saucony Pro 3 last year and really did like them but I'm about ready to upgrade. I'm just trying to make a decision
This is on my shortlist for my marathon. I really like the adidas pro 3 but im not sure if it could be a tad firm for me for a full marathon. Im not sure when adidas pro 4 will be released. Edit pro 4 only an upper update it seems. Disappointing.
I will never understand shoe companies sending out retail versions of shoes months in advance and not letting people talk about them Is there a reason that I’m not aware of? We’ve seen plenty of footage of the 4 since last FEB
Great video guys, wasn't a fan of V3 and, having bought some AF3 and 2 pairs of Hoka Rocket X2, I don't think I'll be investing in these. A lot more excited by the new Speed 4's!
I agree! Nike is not as high up there anymore! Adidas and Saucony are closing in on the gap! Nike switched to making poor quality, good performance shoes. Their shoes fall apart after 200 miles!
@@Spudsmachenzie1 Megan says Nike is at the top tier and then everybody else is below them and it’s not accurate anymore. For example Asics Metaspeed Paris is crushing both Alphafly and Vaporfly at the moment. Definitely at the same tier as Nike - or even above Nike for the time being.
It's a great shoe for people with wide feet. The Nike lineup is just so tight and made for people with super narrow feet. I can't wait to get mine.
Funny, because I found the Endorphin Pro 3 way too cramped in the toe box in a size UK 12 and then have loads of room in the Nike Vaporfly 3 in a UK 12
I tried them on and thought the toe box was tight and I don't have wide feet.
Glad to hear that it still feels good at most paces which is why I used it primarily for my long run workouts!
I've been waiting for this review - thanks for posting! I loved the Endorphin Pro 3 and bagged a number of PBs in them. Can't wait for the 4!
were you happy with the Pro 4, after some months ? tnx

That was a really good idea to compare the Pro 4 on one foot and the Elite v4 on the other. They both look like good shoes.
Thanks! I love that Saucony is making positive changes to their shoes (at least this one) and not raising the price! Well done, Saucony!! 👍
Other reviews are not so positive. Makes me wanna wait a bit on these.
@@justoutlaw6423 thank, I’ll check some others out. Just got v3 a bit ago and really like that, albeit with only limited miles. I do wonder about super shoes with dual midsoles.
Great review! Can’t wait for the discounts on the pro 3.
Yeah its better looking also than this 4.
Discounts on the pro 3 have had discounts for the last 4 months
Y'all should do a race day shoe rank list.
So sad about the Shifts being gone. GOAT shoes for long, easy miles, I hope the Hurricane keeps up the tradition of these beloved beauties.
I’ve had every single version and they never disappoint. Happy with the 4th!

Incredible
Happy you guys are posative about these and the speeds 👊
Saucony has got the most comprehensive running shoe line out. There, I said it!
Asics!

Fair
I got the Pro 2 for $100 last March. Going to use it for a half marathon in April.
It's a good half marathon shoe
Pro 4 and Speed 4 will definitely be in my shoe rack in the next months!
Other reviews are not so positive.
@@justoutlaw6423really? Every speed I’ve seen has been positive
Who doesnt like a good Rocker? I love Axl Rose! ❤
Its more like 290 dollars here in Sweden 😭 take me down to the paradise city where the grass is green n the shoes are cheeeap! ❤

loved the fun energy between you today:D
Good morning. Like to Meaghan and Robbe.¡¡¡¡¡Saucony for ever!!!!!. A nice weekend for everyone.
Tempting! Really wanna see the comparison with the NB SC Elite 4
(ran in Speed 1 & RC Elite 2)
Definitely going to get a pair. Loved the 3s and seems like good upgrades for the 4. Awesome review!
Love the Pro 3 and Speed 3, will wait until this is discounted. Getting so expensive 😩
the prices didn’t go up on these
That's good, but I mean 'full price'.
Ran DC marathon in the 3’s. Really like them though took some getting used to from my asics

Looks so much better than the previous version.
Trying to find a road super shoe for a flat 100 mile race in Florida to pair with the tecton x2
The shift 3 is a great shoe super comfy don’t know what they were thinking
I need some Saucony shoes in my rotation!!

Fairly stable overall
Thanks....for the cc bills.😂
This might be the first time I pay full price for a running shoe
Waiting for pro 3 to go on sale like speed 3 just but want to try both
Will definitely be taking these to Rome in March as AF3s and Elites are nowhere to be found unless you want to pay double on ebay.
The tongue slides down on the Pro 3... otherwise it's great. Looking forward to the 4.

They are both Marathon shoes. Elite is pure HG favoring those with higher paces. I think most non-elite will be happy with Pro 4.

Are they good for mid foot strikers?
shoe looks fire
I went 0.5 up the EP3, how’s the sizing on these?
Curious what's Meaghan's top 3 race day shoes at the moment, Endorphin Pro 4, AF 3 and ??????
I will never understand shoe companies sending out retail versions of shoes months in advance and not letting people talk about them

Time to buy endorphin pro 3 on discounts
Question. This shoe or the New Balance SC Elite v4 for a sub 3:35 marathon attempt 35 Years old 5'6'' 145 lbs dude?
I feel the 3 needed more some arch support, for me at least.
Does the 4 have the same arch as the 3?
Is the toebox super narrow like the Pro 3?
Hey meaghan is the 4 less harsh under the toes?
Is the toebox a medium width on the Pro4 and true to size
Great video guys, wasn't a fan of V3 and, having bought some AF3 and 2 pairs of Hoka Rocket X2, I don't think I'll be investing in these. A lot more excited by the new Speed 4's!
TTS??
Are they as narrow in the mid foot as the pro 3?
Hit him with the shoe Meaghan 😂.
TTS?

Ran 3 miles.. 17:44 in Michael Jordan basketball shoes. In 1999, shoes dont matter.
Does anyone make a race day shoe for people who need support? Most of the race day shoes I've seen are neutral.
Look for the ones with wider platforms. The plates help, but race day shoes are set up for speed and not support.
Will this shoe perform well in half marathon
If the runner does the shoe will follow
Nice shirt Robbie! #Kofuzi
Got this for my wide feet😂
That red lining looks like a Nike swoosh.
I want to like Saucony, but EVERY Saucony shoe kills my feet. Too much arch support for me.
1:18 still having this take in 2024 is a lil silly. nike is far from what it was 3-4 years ago
I agree! Nike is not as high up there anymore! Adidas and Saucony are closing in on the gap! Nike switched to making poor quality, good performance shoes. Their shoes fall apart after 200 miles!
Nike as the first tier is so not accurate anymore.

Pro 1: weird tongue
Pro 2: semi-normal tongue
Pro 3: what the f**k is going on with that tongue?
Pro 4: weird tongue, but still not as weird as 3
Love the tongue on the 3. No lace bite . Easy to tie down .. and breathable. Best shoe ever

The iteration spoken as the 3 when it's the 4
Bland delivery.
