Your design language in the GT3,GT4 and panamera is absolutely beautiful and following with a great dynamics it really makes you the choice for every enthusiast. ;)
Even if you've spent a million on Porsches (I have) … it's a matter of "what have you done for Porsche lately" … unless you have something in trade or you have a 918 or a history of being "a good customer" (a sucker) of a given dealer, you're still going to put down your deposit and be "3rd in line" and they'll deliver every allocation and you'll still be "in line" … so sorry … but buy this Taycan turbo S loaded with options and we'll keep you "in line" for the next gouge fest in 3 years. In the USA, there's at least a way around the gouging if you know someone and you've been show how … which is a pretty sorry state of affairs. VW should just build as many RS and Touring as they get earnest orders and sell at MSRP and stop feeding the thieving dealers with "market adjusted" price gouging.

Jethro Bovington reckons he's 6'6"-6'7", is he joking? That Porshe development guy, Jorg Bergmeister(?) was looking down on him. They said he was a former racing driver, not a basketball player.
Shocking the price these days of “entry level” Weissach-911s. In Germany the first GT3 cost - in August 1999 - €92,695, which in 2024-euros corresponds to €153,697. Today the GT3 costs new €209,000. Sure, the 992.2 is faster, safer, more comfortable, cleaner etc., but also the ”old-timer” did 302 km/h (today 311 km/h). And whereas the 996 was the absolute pinnacle of (non-turbo) Porsche, or sports cars technology in general, today’s GT3 is ”only” no 3 in the 911 ranking, and finally has competition (Corvette etc). All in all, IMO an exaggerated 36% price hike in real terms. Also the M3 outpaced inflation in the same period, but by a less extreme 26%. For comparison: IT and electronics is hugely more powerful now than in 1999 but at the same time cheaper, even in absolute terms, never mind adjusted for inflation.
I think he's right up there. Jethro great and knows how to drive, present and is a great motoring journalist. Most were from the Evo Magazine days. However, you can add to that list Mr Harris, Jason Cammisa, Harry and Henry Catchpole. Also love that we have Hagerty, Throttle House and Smoking Tire.

19:13 I think the appeal of ceramics on the road is the light weight, but why don't you mention how much lighter they are? If you're not going to tell us, where can we find out? More generally what really sucks here is you're telling the price of the lightweight package to the pound, yet not saying how much weight it actually saves, etc. etc.

1:22 He’s comparing the GT3 that costs ~$100k less(base $120k+,no options, no resale) to a GT3RS(MSRP $240k+) and the S/T(MSRP $290k+) and then has issue with it not being THE car? The GT3 is now the only special 911 that successful people can even consider without investing 7 figures into the brand. The GT3 is the new Turbo S, because people want a more visceral experience at lower speeds, and Porsche is now making that possible by producing the S/T…the car that all the collectors are now fighting over instead of the GT3. Unless Porsche artificially limits GT3 production, this iteration will normalize in price, similar to Turbo S costs. Thoughts?
I think most GT3RS owners buy it for the sake of buying it or as an investment. Very, very few of them would be able to exploit the additional performance the RS has over the GT3. As for the TurboS, as fast and capable it is, it's more of a super-GT car, targeted at a wider range of buyers. So my point is that neither will step into their territory and all will keep selling. Got to hand it to Porsche, they do a brilliant job at creating many cars from one car, marketing and selling them with success :)
