Down here we have an affinity with the Land Cruiser, and the other two are just in a race to break. When driving on dirt from dawn to dusk that is a deal breaker.
My pal has worked at a Land Rover main dealer for over 25 years and always say he would never be out of a job and would by a Toyota over any of the others for the main reason reliabity.

Wow, what a surprising outcome! I expected the Wrangler to dominate with its off-road pedigree, but the Land Cruiser 250 proved it's a serious contender. Despite being on all-terrain tires, its traction and suspension setup helped it outperform both the Defender 110 and Rubicon. Toyota really took their time, but they responded with a beast of an off-roader that also shines on the highway. This competition just proved that the Land Cruiser 250 is no joke! Hats off to Toyota for nailing the balance between off-road capability and on-road comfort! 🚙💨
I'm definitely a Land Rover fan so I'm obviously biased, but its refreshing to see a defender owner who isn't afraid to use their car for its intended purpose! plus who doesn't love some airtime?
funny that since Isuzu are tougher by miles. Australia has the harshest environments and they beat any Toyota over there especially when modded. Theres footage of a bog stock base model 2seater Dmax with nothing but a Eaton E-locker locking rear diff fitted and it beat eveeything for fun. Infact it had to rescue half of the competition. No joke go look at the stuff they do in Thailand with them they take the absolute piss
@BlatantBurnerAccount No doubt Australia has rough terrain for cars, it is a very hot climate country where it probably gets 45 c, but cars don't strain or travail that much. It is another thing when the temperature drops to -45 c or - 50 where metal and everything else changes shape. Cars have to run 24 hours everyday, and they still withstand those harsh environments, especially the Toyotas. German, European or American cars have no choice there.
