Yo bro more bronco content! I have a 1984 that I got for really cheap. Your video on the lift install really helped me out a lot.

Just FYI, that cone shape on the pan might be a good spot to put a DIY drain plug so it's not so messy next time you need to service the trans. Great vids 👍, keep 'em coming.

You installed the wrong transmission filter in the broncoand you did not drain the torque convertor. 4 x4 have different filters

Headed back out to make more videos and saw this comment. Thank you for pointing that out. Definitely learning as I go and I knew better than to put a mismatched filter back on. I’ll definitely be redoing this along with other major things. I want to get this thing ready to rock daily.
Thank you again for pointing this out!

Good for you man! These things are usually bulletproof and since they’re the older style motors and transmissions they are easier to work on. I will say I haven’t had a whole lot of trouble with mine but when I have, parts are very easy to find and affordable. It does get expensive trying to find original body parts and things like that. I got a steal and bought this one for $1500 but with its condition would’ve probably still bought it for like $2500 in my area.

If it’s what you really want, and you love Broncos, go for it! All the memories you will have with it and sentimental value will be priceless. You can always resell it even if it’s a little loss!

found a 89 bronco on FB market place for 2200, has minor rust, and needs a steering column. Not sure if im gonna pick it up yet but if I do im not too sure what Im gonna wanna do to it, any ideas?

What I’ve been doing is just googling all my favorite bronco builds and weighing the options of doing something custom or leaving it original. In my opinion it comes down to whether you have a good area to off-road in your area or you just want to use it as a daily. I was reluctant in doing a full off-road build if I mainly wanted to just maintain the OG bronco look.
I think I’ve decided to leave mine original until the paint is bad enough to need redone then I will begin customizing. No matter what you do though, it’s a win-win! There’s nothing better than off-roading or cruising around town in a Ford Bronco!

@@doublewvideos3474 Yeah totally agree, Im in south florida so theres a few "offroading" spots but its mostly gonna be a daily driver for me . Probably gonna wait until I have it for a while before I really do anything to it
