Well done my friend. I too haven't brewed a sour or NA beer before. Quite the challenge to be thrown your way, but well thought out and sounds like it turned out delicious. Cool to see you moving up in the UA-cam world and working with some of the bigger brew names in the community. Now off to check out Hops and Gnarly. 🙃 Cheers!
Nice one. I was wondering : do you actually need to add yeast? You already had a small fermentation with lacto and have a small enough starting gravity to go directly to force carbonation, no?
That's a great question, I guess you could totally do that, I was just going with normal yeast to be traditional to beer making but I don't see why that wouldn't work for you
Both of you did great job! Love to watch more collab's like that and beers like that! Cheers! P.S. Love to see also maybe quick video about stabilization - always when I need, I dig in your old videos to find some info about dosing 😁🍺
You have sparked some ideas in my head. I have a few friends that are recently not drinking but have been searching for a good NA beer. Hint they all like apple soda.
@@TheBruSho It would probably work best with a NA czech Pilsner and would add depth without adding a ton of fermentables. I have yet to actually try a decoction for a homebrewed beer but it is something I want to try in the future. Keep up the great video content!
Why not, dude? Trying something new and putting yourself to the test is a wonderful experience. Also, why is enabling people to drink AND do other things such a bad thing in your opinion?
@@leehaseley2164 I'm bias. I hate sour things, and most of all sour beer. Sour beer is pure awful. Therefore sour non-alcoholic beer is both disgusting and pointless IMO.
Check out the NA beer I challenged Dan with: ua-cam.com/video/n8WKznFSXsI/v-deo.html
Always love a collab, this was so fun to watch!
Thank you!
Solid collab brajjes!
Now let’s get our next collab goin!
Great collab dudes ! Cheers 🍻🍻🍻
Thank you brotha!
Fun idea! Was cool to see you guys collab on a beer, both are great youtubers! Cheers!
Thanks Matt! Would love to see your take on a NA beer
@@TheBruSho Its on the list! Its a tough one to pull off for sure.
Nice job! Still not sure why people look down on kettle souring, it's a great technique! Great collab!
I think like anything in life if you take a shortcut they think it’s cheating ha. Thanks man

Thank you, both worth trying to make IMO, a good challenge! Cheers
Dude! I gasped at the gelatin when I watched his 😮 Great video dude and solid collab!
Hahaha Good catch! Thanks for watching man
Amazing fellas! I tried my first NA beer and it didn't go well but I'm inspired to give it another go 🍻
It’s definitely tricky, Jus keep at it!
I really applaud your and Dan's effort on this one. You are both inspirational dudes. Cheers and keep it up.
Thank you so much for that!
Killer video! First go at a sour and it turned out great! 🙌🏼🍻
Thank you for all the great videos for reference on what to do ha!
Great work. I've tried to make a couple of low/no alcohol beer, and it's really difficult to get it tasty/beery.
Really Enjoyed your Video , Thanks ! 🐯🤠

You could but my guess would be that the yeast is added for the "flavour" rather than fermentation. So the importance depends on the style.

Thank you! And definitely will give stabilizing a more in-depth video!
Cool stuff. I did my first kettle sour recently and it turned out pretty well. Gonna try the Philly sour yeast next time
Nice! I definitely want to try Philly sour soon, let me know how it goes

Sounds delicious. Why not pasteurising to kill yeast??
Technically I did a chemical pasteurization. But you could do a heat pasteurization as well, it might just impact flavor
Well done Trent!
Thank you curt!
I miss beer and I would love to drink some NA micro brew. I'm going to save this as my introduction to possibly making some one day.
Great Collab! Do you think you could build in complexity into a NA beer by doing a decoction with the grain?
Not a half bad idea, or maybe try using more flavorful but low fermentable grains as well. Worth a shot for sure.

I have 0 interest in na beer but your vids are always worth a watch! 🙌
sick collab :)
NA sour? Gross. Why?
It was a challenge, thats why
