Sadly Mrs. Puana passed away, but she Won!! Florence Puana, the grandmother and fraud victim of convicted former Honolulu deputy prosecutor Katherine Kealoha, died today at age 100. “She died this morning at about 5 a.m.,” Puana’s attorney, Gerald Kurashima, said. “The family wants to preserve their privacy but they appreciate all the support.” Puana was a key witness against her granddaughter in the federal conspiracy and obstruction trial, which ended in the conviction of Kealoha and her husband, former Honolulu police chief Louis Kealoha, in June.
She definitely was a trooper. The attorney was very rude. Not very considerate of the fact she is older, she can’t hear well. Her eyesight wasn’t all there but she was very competent in answering all questions, didn’t even want to take breaks. She wanted it all over with. God bless her soul, I know she must be resting in peace now.
I love this lady how she takes time to read the papers and isnt giving the one guy what he wants lol she is the sweetest woman so sorry the world lost her.
Anyone going to take advantage of a sweet elderly woman like this is so disgusting and for it to be a police cheif abx his wife to do that to her is so sad and they deserve to be locked up and never trusted in any position to do anything involving elderly ever again. Absolutely disgusting this woman was to good of a person to have this happen to her and the lawyer questioning against her should be ashamed of hisself for even taking the case against her. I hope the lord can save them and help them all to be better people and take the greed out of their souls
