Yes we got into those Ladyfish and it was a catch ever cast. They are fun to catch especially the bigger ones. I’m so ready for the tarpon to start showing up 😀❤️

Nice day out there. Tossing that sail cat back was a shame - they are so good eating. Of course, I wouldn't handle one like that.... Those bits of fish the blue was spitting shows you just how they attack schools of baitfish. Some nice speckleds, too! I need to get back up that way soon.
Been wondering how you been doing. Haven’t seen too many videos lately. I’ve slowed down a bit too. My trucks been down this week. Ordered a new ac compressor and they sent the wrong one (4cylinder version) and I didn’t notice the pulley in width was slightly smaller. The truck went through 2 new belts and after looking closer I realized what happened and so I’m waiting on the replacement compressor to arrive. Hope your doing well. Let me know whenever you come up.
@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish Mike, everything is great down here. I haven't been getting out as much the last six months or so, primarily due to the weather not cooperating. While I could go out and get beat up in 20kt winds, the water gets so murky that it isn't worth it. You saw that in the video. I've thought about going inside, Whitewater Bay, but just haven't made the effort. Vehicle repairs are always a pain. I doubt there's much that I can work on under the hood of the Ranger. A new toy is being delivered next week, a couple's coach that we intend to begin using around the state. That'll cut further the fishing time I have available. May have to start up another channel just for those adventures. I'll get in touch the next time I'm up, and if you think you may be down this way, call me.
@@JimMFishing Sounds good. I'd say just continue to ad the videos to your channel. I have some car troubleshooting and how to things of some of mine and my children's vehicles and they always do good and sometimes are my best paying videos which is crazy. I wonder if it hurts my fishing algorithm sometimes though.. IDK Last year the channel was starting to make enough to cover my car payment but then something changed and the money dropped and sometimes I debate on even continuing doing it. I do enjoy it and people have said they like my videos so I guess thats what keeps me going. How'd you like the stability ? How well would you say it handles chop? Just ordered mine today and i went with this boat vice the 17 pro skiff. thinking about the bay fishing and possibly ocean on a smooth day
Definitely handles the chop better with the V. The stability was good also 👍 You’ll love it. It wouldn’t fit in my garage so I’m not upgrading. Mine backs straight back in my garage and I strictly fish inshore so I’m sticking with the Mako 15
Hey Mike, like always another great video. Are you thinking about moving up to the Mako 18 or 19? I'm still waiting on my 15 I want to be able to get out to the end of the jetties. I had no problem when I had my 19' Cobia a long time ago. How difficult is it with the Mako 15 to get out their. I juess the sea 🌊 has to around 1 -2 footers.
I’m not upgrading. My boat is perfect for what I need it to do and it fits perfectly in my garage with my kayaks and workbench I have. Making content so people can see the difference between the boats. Yes you can take the Mako out there in 1-2 footers and I’ve been out there in bigger swells. I just don’t like going out there in the bigger swells because I will also get sea sick if it’s too bad out there after a while. What we went out there with in this video the Mako 15 could of handled too just fine .
Hey bud been a sub for a while... I've been fishing this area for years and it seems like it used to be easier to catch reds and trout, however I'm wondering if the abundance of fish isn't the same and what you think about it?
I was about to get the proSkiff 17 then saw a 2020 Key West 176cc with T-top and had to have it. Had a blast this season with my son.
I like those KeyWest’s and the people I know that have them love’em
Adjust the trim and use the jack plate. That should smooth the ride out.
i just ordered a mako 18 cant wait to get my hands on it, hopefully they wont take too long to build it.

The Mako 18 LTS is not mine so I am unsure of those measurements.

They are still catching plenty of Reds and Trouts in the creeks. Fishing is about to get better now that spring is here.
