I can’t believe how hateful she is. If you have done things that don’t honor God, promiscuous sex lives (men and women both), drugs, excessive alcohol, lying, stealing, etc, there is REDEMPTION in Jesus Christ. When He saves you, He rescues you from who you once were, and when He looks at you He sees you washed clean, pure as snow. Yes, actions have consequences, and yes, you shouldn’t sin, but the whole point of the Gospel is God becoming man to save us from our sins. In Him, you are free. You are worthy.
I’ve never listened to her before, but I have to wonder if her views will mature quickly because she’s discussing them so openly. She sounds like someone who didn’t grow up in a strong, Christ-centered home and she’s over-correcting instead of truly repenting for her own poor lifestyle choices.
@@username00009 I hope so! I loosely followed her stuff for a minute and personally I think she’s gotten more hateful than before and has gotten to the point where she really just rags on women and says men are perfect. The is grace for all though, and I hope she comes to Jesus.

Did Pearl really tell Michael that it sounds like he thinks he’s God simply because he’s practicing discernment? Having discernment is a common theme in the Bible and something we should all strive for.
We've really reached the point where telling men not to sleep with every woman who puts out is "playing God". Weird take but ok Davis?!
Discernment is also usually obtained from God or guided by God. She’s wild 😂
She was just so totally outclassed by Knowles on every level. Her team should never have let the interview occur.
And her producer tried to help her during the interview.

Saying these women, or anyone, can't be restored, redeemed, renewed, is limiting God's power and grace. As well as Christ's sacrifice. Shows me what kind of view Pearl has of God. She makes God fit her worldview and holds God to her standards.
Imagine believe in Christ but thinking that he isn’t powerful enough to save a woman who had sex. Let’s Christs atonement work in your life and let it work in others lives. I don’t think she read the Bible. Disgusting. A man that understands Christ’s atonement is a much better Christian man than one who won’t let someone repent.

Pearl is the epitome of a pick me girl. Oh I'm not like other girls, I'm on your side guys, everything women do sucks, but hey I'm over here if you want to be with me. When I first heard about her, I liked her and then it took about 2 weeks of seeing her in my feeds and listening to her, to realize oh my God there is something seriously wrong with this girl. I'm sure there are guys that love her because she's constantly on their side but damn, she needs to get her head on straight
Pearl isn't intelligent nor is she well versed in faith. Her bitterness is masked but it is definitely there.

Men who cannot truly believe in a wife who has a past with sex commerce, shouldn't marry her. Because you can't be happily married if you're ashamed of your wife.
We aren't perfect but this why we get to choose our spouses. We take on their burdens willingly. Davis doesn't accept what marriage IS.
And its not about whether you believe in womens submission to their husband or equality in marriage roles. It's about real love (not lust of a guaranteed sex partner) and making a family.
But men can still honor the notion of resemption in others.

I think Pearl and an OF girl have more in common than Pearl would like to admit. They both have non-erasable online footprints doing morally dubious things. They both pander to audiences for money. They both have made themselves pretty much unhireable in the normal working world. And if they ever decide to change their minds and change their lives, they will have to live with constant accusations of hypocrisy. Pearl has backed herself into a corner -- she can't get married now without being accused of being a massive hypocrite and without losing her career. This is a real shame, because she is quite young, and she might well still meet a man, fall in love, and want to get married. It's clear to me that she is very unhappy. I hope she turns her life around and gets married and has children. Unfortunately for her, just like any ex-OF girl, she is going to experience a huge deal of backlash if she tries.
I can’t stand Pearl. I hate that she is drowning in purity culture toxicity and she can’t even understand that. I hate that he puts so much emphasis on virginity when she, hypocritically, is not a virgin herself. I hate that she only emphasizes female virginity but not male virginity. I hate that she uses the term “body count” as if she’s talking about a serial killer. I do wonder though if the point she was trying to get across was more that people shouldn’t go through life with the expectation that they can live however they want because it doesn’t really matter what they do if redemption is waiting at the end. If that was the case, then why not commit heinous, violent crimes if you can just cry Jesus and go to Heaven anyway. Of course, Pearl has an obnoxious voice and speaks in loud nonsensical circles without ever getting to a point. I think a better example would be that of a child, who keeps doing some thing that his parents tell him not to do. The parents keep telling him that there will be consequences, that his toys will be taken away, that he will go in timeout, Whatever the consequences may be, they are really only threats. The parents never follow through on the consequences, so the kid ends up getting to do whatever the hell he wanted without any consequences whatsoever. Meanwhile, that child’s sister followed the rules, and they ended up receiving the same treatment. Point, there is, how is it fair to the sibling that followed the rules. If her treatment in the end was the exact same as that of her brother, who broke all of the rules. That really is the essence of the prodigal son story.
Catholic here - Pearl’s views are not in line with the Church. This idea that there’s no light at the end of the tunnel is not in line with the Church. The Church believes there is redemption for everyone through Jesus Christ. Michael even points this out not just in this debate but also in his interview with Nala that Pearl’s views do not match the faith she claims to have.
I don't think she's in line with anything but that which lines her pockets.
Pearl really struggled through this interview with Michael. I think its the first time that anyone has actually tried to have a deep conversation about this topic with her. It was evidenced by her continually repeating the same points, and even how her manager/producer stepped in multiple times during the interview to speak for her.
I hope that Pearl grows deeper in her faith, but right now it does seem to me like shes using Christian (and Catholic) as a label to try and make things easier for her. Whenever Michael would start to dig in deep she would say "Michael, I'm Catholic too" to try and defend herself and convince him to switch topics
She has no real understanding of the Bible at all.

Her views are decidedly not Catholic, so I hope that she can grow and become more enlightened in the Faith.
