Unfortunately an audit will do nothing. The city we live in, in CA was audited for years. When they were done, the auditors said they couldn't give the city or the public the information from the audit. It went directly to the state and no changes were made. It went from being one of the best districts to one of the worst in 5yrs and, to this day, no one knows why.

If I remember right, in California you need a special permit to even have a bible study in homes. This may have changed, but around 2009 I recall stories of police harassing people for gathering together in private homes, specifically targeting Christians if they were reading the bible, praying or singing praises to God.

Back in '04 the Department of Education did a study and found that 10% of U.S. students at public schools at the time had inappropriate contact with school employees between k-12. In 2022 there was nearly a public school employee arrested every day for inappropriate contact with a student in the United States. I worry that the numbers are far worse than in '04 now. Between a district near me having kids SA each other on the bus, a gym teacher inappropriately touching at least 26 first grade girls, and a kid getting in with a gun at my district , I said yeah I don't trust the public schools around here.

Is there no law in the books that state it is illegal to intentionally teach kids to lie to their parents? In a mandatory training i had to take as a volunteer who had access to kids twice a month for 3 hours, that sort of behavior falls under "grooming" and was grounds for being reported to the police.
