Here, but i now use psvita, and wait ds emulator to restart Tony Hawk American Sk8land, Spnic rush, and more games, but i now life in russia and don't have exit out
If Sega actually ported Sonic Adventure to the DS, Super Mario 64 style, I would be able to feel the same nostalgia for that game like seemingly everyone else.
funny enough, I felt the nostalgia of sonic adventure 2 when I played it a few months ago even though I never played it before that. the game came out like 7 years before I was born too
@@shitanotosaurus That's interesting. I played that game when I was 16 about 5 years ago and I didn't experience any of that. Probably because I didn't like it.
Sonic Rush was originally planned to be a 3D game and was called "Sonic DS". That got scrapped but some elements of it made it into the final game such as the shifting 2.5 perspective during boss fights
Let's be realistic. It's impossible to fully recreate Sonic Adventure for DS. Not only because of hardware limitations, but also because of the size issue. So you would have to cut a lot of content from the original game and therefore the experience will not be the same.
DS games can go up to 512MB in size. Dreamcast games are about 1 GB. Most of that gigabyte is FMV data and audio data. Music would likely have to be sequenced on a DS port, which takes up around 1/10th of the space. FMV data would be _insanely_ compressed, simply because the DS has a far lower resolution screen. Simply put, the whole game could theoretically fit inside 512 MB.
@@mysticaxolotl8215 What about the Adventure Fields? I imagine they would be cut in favor of going straight to the Action Stages as in SA2. Or replaced by a menu based map system like in the Wii and PS2 version of Sonic Unleashed.
@@mysticaxolotl8215 What about the Chao Garden? I think that would be cut as well, due to how complicated and difficult it is to replicate the Chao breeding mechanics. At least have them simplify it and make it a sort of upgraded version of Tiny Chao Garden from Sonic Advance. And that it takes advantage of the capabilities of the bottom touch screen of the DS. Because that screen is not there for decoration, it must have some utility, even if it is minimal.
I think this has a lot of potential. Like if the physics and controls were far improved and the setpieces in each level were given functionality, and sounds and enemies were added, then this could be awesome!
The engine this was made with has recently been released to the public, and now has basic PC support. So now you can play Sonic Adventure DS on a PC without emulation!
Where are all the DS fans?

If this is really gonna be a thing, I'm SO hyped 🤯
Nah it's just a tech demo
i dont think so, the ds is no longer being produced, and no new games will come out so
@@magnesium333 Homebrew: **exists**
That’s actually a really cool port! Great video as usual!
This isn't like the DS Like Video isn't on DS the Sonic Robo Blast 2

The controls are really hard, but you play very well
This video out of nowhere reminded me of the existence of the sonic rush 3d fangame
Holy moly this is a good port.
It gives me vibes of "Sonic Rush" but 3D

Just waiting for the eventual “BUT MUH ANALOG STICK!” comment.
Since nobody did it, i will do it
BUT MUH ANALOG STICK!
I don’t remember the double jump being in adventure
It's not a double jump. It's a moon jump that's in the game for debugging purposes

Epic bro
We've spared all expenses. The DS would've died otherwise
I can't find the download link it is it not out yet?
Ok but how do I download it? there's no download button or anything on the site.

This looks like a great rival for mario galaxy DS
Cool!
Original DS graphics were not great, so to make this look as good as it looks is brilliant.

Good port
Looks cool to emulate
Nintendo ds fans be like: yooo this gameplay is lit🔥🔥🔥🔥
"look at these graphics! Look like real life" 😂😂😂
Its here
DS were great back in the great 👍🏽
100/10 nice
Pretty impressive.
I do wonder why Sega didn’t port Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 to 3DS
I thought it was insane that they were never ported to PS Vita. The HD ports of SA 1 and 2, on the go, could have saved the system.
An interesting idea.
how you do the spin dash
I don't think that's been implemented yet.
(Also, plz report the bot above me)
Can you actually install this in a modded Ds or 3ds
Yes.
Sirve en una ds de verdad o solo en emuladores?
Is this game the same Sonic Adventure game on the Dreamcast and Gamecube?
If only there was some kind of GBA port using N64 Joystick accessory for the DS (and lite model) to make this tech demo work!
Cool
Como creaste el juego bro..??
Anybody waiting for Sonic Unleashed DS?, with a vien of Sonic Rush
@Darkex I mean a sonic Rush hack, not the one was planned
IS like srb2 wiout sound and MISSING textures for the explosion i guees
Nice
I don't really like the animations but I know that the ds isn't that overpowered
What emulator is this
Either DesmumE or MelonDS.
Ain't no way
Could this run on the real ds hardware?
Yes, this fan game can run on the Nintendo ds hardware
