Tejas is better in range and weopan carrying capacity ard points then how come it's 4th generation and Ka-50 is 4.5 lol , according to me they both belong to 4th generation .

F/A-50 is another form of FA-18 and F-16 and therefore far superior to Tejas: Here is reason why 1). Lockheed Martin joint development: KAI has been both PW and GE engine developer and logistic partner for the F-16 program for the last 25 years. (F-16's logistics program itself was developed by KAI's former entity Samsung Aerospace - as KAI is the largest logistics system developer of the fighter program in the world). When they developed FA-50, compatibility with the existing platform was the main focus of the design - it can be adopted to any system of the customer nation. That means the existing maintenance and logistics channels can be utilized to service and maintain FA-50. 2). Platform and System itself is compatible with F-16/F-18 and F-35, and fully compatible with NATO standard systems. Both GE and PW engines can be used. Any radar systems (including AESA) used by F-16/F-18 and F-35 can be implemented (including most European systems as well). Aerial refuel system available. Any weapon system (A-to-A / A-to-G) can be adopted into the system at a various combination - at customers wish and logistics design. It is the most flexible platform in the industry. Single seater available (single seater in block 3 - targeted in 2024 to Poland). 3). Engine can be de-mounted in 15 min. Radar system can be swapped out in 24 hours. System can be reset in 1 hours. All systems are modular. "Easy" unstressed maintenance - and maintenance system itself is compatible with existing system (and its the same system if the customer is using F-16 platform). 4). A brand new aircraft can be assembled in 7 days - and immediately delivered. Entire logistics channel and its support system is on operation already. Designing and making a jet fighter is not just manufacturing aircraft - it is entirely about system - aircraft, logistics, system compatibility with the nation's military doctrine, training program, and host of others. KAI has been developing the entire channel for the US and other nations nearly for 30 years (before KAI it was KAL/Samsung/Hyundai/Daewoo under JV - which merged and became KAI). HAL has long road ahead in catching up.
