Yes, considering what Chicago was those first ten albums or so to end up here is just embarrassing. I LOVED Chicago, but I never even heard this song, to be honest. Once they went pop or adult contemporary, I was gone. Just terrible.
When Peter put down his bass, he lost me. But this album does have one Reaction-worthy rocker, You Never Listen to Me, with David Gilmour on guitar. The rest is meh. His first solo album is much more organic.
Loved Cetera in Chicago's early days, but this is horrific! It's a shame the '80s turned Cetera, Billy Joel, Elton John and Stevie Wonder into cheeseballs.
