He is vulnerable to hooks. Naut, Leona, Tresh, just hook Brand and kill him. Also some high range mages are good for that, like Velkoz or Xerath, cuz they just outrange Brand.

I ban her every time I go to that god-forsaken lane, because fighting against a good Illaoi is just a nightmare it feels like she has everything going for her.

Sett counter please!!
If you’re going top against him pick Vayne. If not just short trades and be aware of his grit bar. Early game his cool downs are long so take advantage. Hopefully your team can kite him down later in team fights. A lot of top laners like Sett who need mobility to get on top of ppl will get hit a bit with the Stride breaker nerf so goodluck. Ima Sett main btw lmao
