tbh a good janna in higher elo would at the very least be spamming the fact that her e is on cooldown, and for the most part you usually learn e lvl 3 cause your job as Janna in the early lane phanse pre 3 is to get as much damage of as possible whenever your w comes off coldown along with nicley placed q's. personally i love going up against sona's shes very simple to deal with considering she has some serious mana pool problems early game. the only person on your list that to me or most people is little bit more troublesome is indeed blitz.
well a good sona would also know that her q has 825 range, janna´s w is 550. Also janna can only shield 1 person, sona can heal 2. and sona can easily deal with the mana problems with jsut putting 2 points in heal and then maxing her q and a tear; yes sona is an expensive support but the biggest counter of janna is long range engage like bards, zyra , orn, sejuani or, you guess it sona.
And to deal with Jannas, we go full movement speed via aether wisp items and second tier boots. Then continue to hit like a truck through your shields.
Eventually your defensive strategies will fail. As long as I keep an eye on the map (it's part of my job, after all) I don't have to worry about being ganked. Plus considering that I also get stronger and stronger as time passes, you eventually become a non issue to me.
You're right about the mana issues though. But I take those into account when facing you anyways.
I main Janna and as far as I've seen, a good Brand should be able to snowball this lane. His cooldowns are much shorter than Janna's and he outranges her, not to mention how easily he penetrates her shield early game, forcing her to a super defensive position. Zyra has also got some advantage against Janna, but Brand is clearly much more of a counter.
As for Sona, her late game is slightly better than yours and you can't poke her down with W nor shield her damage with E. It's a little bit similar to the Sona vs. Lulu matchup, except Lulu is much worse because she gets outscaled too heavily.
Sona's who go tear will not usually have mana problems later on but I mentioned in the audio sona is the late game counter cause she scales better than janna :p
Well, on the subject of Blitz and Engagers at least: As Janna in the current meta it's rather common to do a W Max and look to poke out the opposing bot duo. Assuming you're able to bait out the enemy supports engage without being caught, you can bully the hell out of the lane easily. Soraka and Sona would be the two best counters for being able to heal as well as poke back.
yes that is something that you can do, but it also requires the janna player to play much more aggro which most are not willing to do, so although I agree with you 100% i dont feel as if you see it happen enough
Mobalytics completely agree, I've played a decent amount of janna myself so that's from personal experience, but yeah if they arent aggro enough then they lose lane to a degree

Shouldn't u mention adc counters as well as support counters, when it comes to botlanes, Like what adc do you play against Janna? since thats the only duo lane

Zorwasa I'm a Janna Main myself and I speak from experience. A good Caitlyn, Draven, Miss Fortune can be hard to deal with. Early game adcs that pressure a lot and deal more damage than Janna can do to them with her w poke or have longer range than her so she can't even get close to you without endangering herself.

Because Garena is capitalizing Lol and other games that have in game purchases in SEA, and they’re bad at it that they get outscaled by STEAM very hard in SEA so they resort to not letting softwares like OP.GG and lol sumo in SEA and making their very own Garena shitty analytics app.
How to counter Jayce, I hate that matchup in top lane.
well when i get Jayce lane i mostly take Yorik. hes quite strong now with new rune. when You hit lvl 3 You cage jayce and bit a shit out of him. before pantheon was a good pick but since now You take huge minion agro trades are bad. 3rd pick is wukong . You can punish jayce early game . diamond 3 player.
No, seriously, Janna does not just sit there in the laning phase, damage you do is insane, don't be surprised to see her top the charts in the early game. Very often i do more dmg than 50% people on the map by the end of the game. Who writes these guides?
Nice video, it helped me understand when to trade with her more efficiently.
For next candidates, I suggest Kai'Sa or Camille. Or even both.

i am pretty sure you are wrong janna is the counter to the hard engage champions and she is enchanter that loses to other enchanters.

How to counter Lulu?
pretty much the same but easier, lulu has less disengage but more dmg. thats it,
Morgans - you can't polymorph through her e. Soraka/Nami. Lulu likes to poke, heal through it. Lulu and Nami are both good at short trades but Nami can heal herself back after a trade if she ws the enemy. The health she just lost will come back to her. As a plat Lulu main these guys make my lane pesky. Can't get the trades in that I want/use polymorph.
Sarah Kate McMillan Morgana can indeed protect someone from Lulu's W, but Black Shield has got a really long cooldown and Morgana is super vulnerable to poke whenever Black Shield isn't available. Don't pick Morgana into Lulu, Morgana is a counter to engage and countered by poke.
But Blitzcrank, Soraka, Nami and Sona are pretty good indeed.
Well yeah as a support. But talking as a diamond Draven main I find her impossible to play against :D

Dodge w and hit him.
None full engage sups w a lot of hard cc like tahm or sona are a good counter to rakan. All rakan has is his engage, disengage with e or with w, and the tiny bit of poke and healing from q. Legit just try to dodge his w and cc him so he will stay in one place to get focused. He is very squishy but his passive gives him a nice way to sustain so if you are squishy try to have only short fights against him. Try to keep his adc away from him so he wouldn't be able to e to them if you can

Blitz and Leona. Sona is immobile so its easy to grab her. Soraka hates all ins.
Someone that can engage the adc. Poke chams also work since sona's w uses up a lot of mana but only heals for a small amount

How to counter Twitch jungle? My team just dies before I'm even done with my second camp lmao
Mekbot just look at where he starts (usually red) and expect a gank on that side right after he kills the buff
Then just ward deep in the enemy jungle so he gets spotted before going invisible
Take shaco go to his red all the way around so they cant see you start Q then waiit and smite his red run with Q over the wall and he is useless ggwp

if you want to counter Janna you have 3 ways as support
1- pick some hard enger support like thresh , rakan , alistar and leona
2- pick some poke champs like
Zyra , brand and bard
3- third way and its the easiest way
if you have one of those champs in ur team kha , yasuo , lb , eve , and shaco if you have one of those in ur team and they played normaly they all can stalk and one shot janna because janna cant do anything againts thos champs

Hard Engage Champs?? A good Janna can interrupt those engage using her Q and R. Blitzcrank is her counter as long as the blitzcrank wont take too much poke from her W and AA.
