Your video was extremely helpful to demystify accessing the heater bank. On a T1520 the four hex bolts are 7mm. The trickiest operation was decoupling the electrical connectors and removing the female coupler from the base ring.

My appliance parts are not like the parts diagram on the Miele site. If I order the heating element, I do not think I can rewire it. I have pics of my appliance and of the Miele parts diagram, but I cannot figure out how to post them for you.

I have a Miele T 8033 tumble dryer. The heating element gets warm on the top half only, and the dryer is only slightly warm. Do you know what I can do about this short of paying $500 to Miele to come and fix.

Can you call Miele USA and ask them to send you a new dryer element?
I think only part of the element is working and a new one should fix the problem.
