Thank you. You just saved another zanussi going to the dump. It was the internal thermostat inside the drum. Fantastic, thank you so much.

Superb video. So good to see a good practical and well spoken set of instructions. Will buy the heater for the dryer. Well done.

Excellent video! I would only recommend that you start by checking the hidden thermostat inside the dryer, so if that’s the one that’s faulty you only have to take out two screws instead of 20-30 in order to check the back side. That’s what happened to me at least 😅

It's very hard for me to give all information on every model as there are so many the most important thing is this video managed to assist you in someway thanks very much for watching Wrinkly hands fix appliances, not algorithms! My videos might not be UA-cam superstars, but they save Appliances from the scrapheap. Good job , it has helped me. I would recommend you to write in the description , where can we buy those broken items. I have already found mines in AEG web.

Fantastic video, thanks. Unfortunately I diagnosed a faulty heater thermostat. Replaced the unit, it worked for a while and failed again. I think there's another fault causing that unit to fail...

Sorry to hear that. if the air is not flowing around the dryer at the correct volume then this can cause the heater to overheat. Thanks 👍 for watching and please remember to subscribe to the Channel as that's what keeps us going in able to make the video for you

Merci beaucoup. Mine was also the internal thermomostat. Is it usually the case? If so, perhaps say so, as taking the machine apart may be unnecessary, if one tries looking insidde the drum first.
I hope that you guys ship to France.

My electronic tumble dryer model is EDC-66150W. The Heating element has been replaced and now won’t work properly ( start and squiggly ) how do I fix it? It still works with the old element. How do I reset the tumble dryer?

Aeg Lavatherm T65170av not heating - first of all, thank you for all videos. I try to find the third thermostat (those you show in the drum) and can't find him. Can you explain where I can find it?

    Thanks for this video,
    Btw I have a AEG L16850, DRYER
suddenly stopped heating up regardless of selection after 20min, it
stops to 0 min, so I thought I'll check inside, I've cleaned the
condenser with a hunger. apparently there is a sensor wires fitted
    inside a hoe??
trying to locate sensor wires inside hose, which hose is it would you
    have a clue? when facing
the machine, left hand side there is a big short rubber pipe? also on
    the
right, bottom of condenser rubbery hose with sensor but no wires inside,
    would you know?
    Cheers.

Any ideas why my zanssui condensers pump starts for 2 seconds and stops? Changed pump same problem so thinking microswitch

blimey that looks more complicated than on my beko condenser dryer. the heater element was much easier to change and get to the electrical connectors and the top of the drum thermostat was easily got to by taking off the front fascia panel.

Do not get me wrong. In any way. The technology is fantastic, 1 kW of energy in and get 4 kW out. That is the principle of heat pump technology. so on tumble dryers This is refrigeration process, but if you mix a damp surface with fluff that comes off the clothes the long-term effect is not good and trying to get maintenance done on these machines is just not economic. I'm sorry I'm standing by what I've said in other videos, the cost of heat pump dryers, do not add up when they only a lasting about five years compared to the energy you save.

On my dryer (AEG T61275AC) the heater unit has only 1 thermostat - is this the only thermal switch on this model? The thermostat on the heater is not 'tripped' and makes a circuit when tested but the heater does not product any heat - anyone have an idea if it could still be a problem?
