Absolutely the Greatest Canadian band, I am 57 years old and still listening to their music, It is a Privilege and an Absolute Honor to have grown up with the SPOONS music, CHEERS. !!!!
Love the Spoons. Sandy should seriously consider a short scale bass guitar. That guitar dwarfs her. I had such a crush on her back in the day. Still sound great and I'm seeing them tonight in Ottawa (nov 26, 24)
I love these guys, and this is one of the greatest songs of the 1980s. It's been on every walkman, discman, mp3 player, iPod, and iPhone I've ever owned. Saw them once playing in a Park on the Danforth back in 2015 or 2016 I think.
Gosh - I remember going down to Sam the Record Man back in the early 80’s when I was a teen to meet them and have them sign a record I wish I still had now that vinyl has made a comeback, and I actually have a fancy turntable I could play it on. Oh well. I moved so many times around the GTA when I was younger that lugging around a heavy record collection I didn’t use anymore became a hassle.
They opened for Glass Tiger and blew them out of the water! They sounded so good and pure to who they were 40 years ago! Glass Tiger was sloppy with barely the same group and sounding haggard. Been a fan of both since day 1 but the Spoons killed it!!

We are the same age @ggherasim1806 :) Could not agree more !
This is one of my favorite songs of all time, such an amazing riff and bass line. Gordon's singing is flawless, Sandy's bass playing is impeccable.
Never gets old :)
Sandy Is STILL GORGEOUS
How could she not be!!!! 😮
The guy with the blue shirt and headband in the bottom left dancing is awesome! One of the best songs of New Wave 80's, hands down ...
WITH HIS RED BULL CAN DANCE 24 HOURS!
well not really right , its just something you see in the boredom of this video
Dude is groovin'. 😊

Damn. This is a bittersweet song for me to hear. Good times and bad.

Underrated Canadian band.
A very fine band , great tunes...they deserve more airplay than other undeserving groups.
High School Memories ....Unique Sounding Band ..
I'll post this weekend's show at History soon - they did not skip a beat! And Gord played with Flock of Seagulls too at that 80's show!!!

Sandy Horne is the queen of Bass
Zombriella from Messer Chups is my favourite!
Still sound great. Love the original music video.
So good. Toronto synth pop is the best.
Back when Toronto had a soul.
awesome!
Sandy......you still have a chance to mary me.
Gord, Sandy, and Spoons rocks. Love Gord's shirt.
The future is all the past.
Nice to see them performing recently, but I am not seeing much chemistry between them. That's too bad.
Just love love love this tune. Thanks for posting
