I could have sworn when I first The Spoons, I believed they were this new great band from England and then realized they were a homegrown Canadian band, which I'm proud of, love their sound and vocal styling, plus you gotta love the bassist.
Spoons had so many great songs over the years. Always loved Waterline, Romantic Traffic, Bridges Over Borders and When Time Turns Around. Sandy is so lovely to watch (crush mode still activated).
I heard couple of songs from this band I never thought they were called Spoons. I like the energy performance of this band still sound fresh after all these years.
totally great band. before i knew they were canadian i thought they were british. but soon found out they're from burlington on the radio. there's a few bands i'm proud of as fellow canadians.... well.... GTA. the spoons was one of them. saga had a couple songs i liked and now i hear the lead singer is touring with flock of seagulls. that was the band i first began to love music with. I ran.
Dream Concert Thanksgiving Week 2024(Friday Night). Platinum Blonde, the Spoons, Glass Tiger & The Hooters. A Pre Christmas Party and a Night to Remember!👍🏾
63 year old me still likes this band.
I am little bit younger. But still ear worm 'alone'

I like this actual formation, with this drummer and keyboardist.

Wow you guys! SO GOOD!!!!!!
Sandy - that's all I got to say.
Pay close attention to the bass line during the instrumental part. I hadn't noticed it all these years until December.
Had they been managed by a UK producer, they would have been as big as Duran Duran. Bigger? Great , intelligent music. Still brilliant after 40 years.
My exgirlfriend is from Rama reservation & she never told me this was happening. I'll never forgive her.
It is why she is and remains your 'ex'.
Too bad this video is so short! surely it wasn't a 16 minute set?
Is that the original key board band member?
No. The original was Rob Preuss
I think this is the same keyboard player who was with the band for Bridges over Borders and Vertigo Tango
