Brian Setzer living his life in the biggest way. The man has hardly changed in 40 + years and still has an incredible passion for music. We should all be so blessed.
Not only you my friend, Brian Setzer was/is a huge inspiration for my guitar playing as well. Back in the 80’s, I bought everything he released, and spent hours and hours next to the record player figuring out songs note for note as best I could!
My Uncle owned a music store in Memphis Tennessee..Anybody that was anybody came to his store for instruments ( From Elvis to bands in the 90s..) He really l9ved the Stray Cats..
Thank you, Sir for another great piece of modern rock history! The great Brian Setzer telling about the time he discovered Adam and The Ants! Two of the most iconic acts of the 80's crossing paths through a magical jukebox! I still love both!!!
Brian Setzer has been rocking me for decades. The Stray Cats were awesome, but, the song Radiation Ranch still blows me away. It isn’t just a rock song with a message that isn’t a wet blanket, it absolutely rocks. Kept playing brother, we’re listening.
I loved Adam and the Ants! And of course Brian, whom I saw live once. He’s incredible! I feel fortunate to have seen him on one of his tours. As guitarist myself (studio plus band), I really appreciate his musicianship, songwriting, singing and showmanship. Great show. And career, Mr Seltzer!
Brian Setzer! A legend in his time with a million great stories, luv this! He’s lived the dream and sharing it. Hope to see him again in Canada! Thanks for posting.
I grew up in the disco era also. and disco sucks. so I completely agree with you Brian Setzer. thanks for all that great Rockabilly music that you performed.
The general music or rock industry. How often, if ever, do we hear anything about Setzer? Mainstream music media always seems to focus on guys like EVH, Vai, Slash...etc, but rarely talk about how insane Setzer is on the fretboard
@@bigdude382 we just heard about him. How often do we hear about any "MULTIMILLIONAIRE MUSICIAN"? EVERYONE must be underrated by the simple qualifications.

Hey Brian I saw your show on Pier 17 in New York City back in 2019 and will be seeing your show in August this year in Bridgeport Connecticut and I'm looking forward to it it's going to be awesome
Hey Brian!! When are you going to start releasing a video here and there? Something LONGER than a UA-cam short? Tell us what you’re up to these days, and play a little guitar for us. Maybe teach us one of your classic riffs here and there. 👍 I’ve been following all your work since the early 80’s, picked up a guitar at that time, and you’ve inspired me to play better ever since! It would be great to see a video once in a while!
!!! I have played quite a bit with the present guitarist of Adam Ant, -Adam Leaches. In Camden Town, Blues Kitchen. A really great guy and a good friend. I am even more proud of him now. Thank you Brian.
I saw you at the tower theater when I was 15 years old. You are still the most gorgeous man. I absolutely loved you that night and I still adore you with your orchestra. You’re in an amazing and very talented artist. Thank you for sharing that with the world.❤❤ and PS, you are still such a hottie
I saw them Perform on long islands colony hill in hauppauge after a walkathon, they performed on one of those trailer stages, and Bobby Nystrome from the islanders was there also 😊
i was 14, band recruited me, rehearsed in a "Strip Bar" in their down time. Girls would come in early, start "Practicing" to our songs because Jukebox sucked, (late 70's, no DJ yet) so i never missed a practice, even showed up earlier after that.

I'm not sure exactly when he's refering to, but in the mid 70s the best jukebox was actually upstairs at The Roebuck, which was at the end of the same block as The Man in the Moon.

Millennium night, New Year's Eve, 1999 . San Francisco Civic auditorium! My wife and I found a hatch up to the rooftop overlooking half of the city and smoked a joint up there! A beautiful "summer like" evening . People were in tuxedos and evening gowns, and we're having sex in the seats next to us and everywhere else. No lie! We even ran into Willie Brown out in the main lobby and got a selfie with him why I don't know lol. The tickets were very expensive and were a gift from my boss at work.
