- Saw this 2019 KIA Stinger GT at the track making some solid second passes. It's the first 11 second Stinger GT I've seen at the track.
I spoke quick with the owner and he said it has a downpipe, midpipes, catback, intercooler and meth injection. - Авто та транспорт

Hey this is my home track! I live just down Hwy 64 from the track. Unlike this Stinger, lol on the announcer, I have an actual Tesla P100D you may see out some Thursday night; runs 10.7-10.8 around 122-123mph. That is a fast Stinger though!

Kia stinger v6 twin turbo only goes a 165 miles and hour and you aren't beating a high end corvette and I don't like corvettes and kia was modded and saw a mclaren get destroyed by a corvette new one

Well modified Stinger to run those times vs stock vettes. I happen to own both those cars as my vette is for sunny days and the Stinger is for everyday use. The Stinger is a fantastic car, i wanted it for its awd ability being in Wi. Stock to stock a vette takes a stinger by at least a second but tune the stinger, and its a fair fight lol. Now if you want to road course em, then a tuned stinger wont hang with my grand sport. Those launches by the vettes here were perfect, high 11’s is as good as you can get with them being stock.
Can you list the mods that you have in this beast?

That wasn’t the Stingers fault. Terrible driver. Slow reaction. I’m still rooting for the stinger. Corvettes are all showboating.
Porsche driver bogged. Just because you bought a high powered car, doesn't mean you know how to drive it.
In the 1st run, did the Corvette jump or was the other guy not paying attention?
I wasn't showing the light in this one, but likely it's just the Corvette hit a good light, and the Stinger was just more worried about making a good pass than a perfect light. Still not a terrible light even if they don't have a ton of experience.

@@Haywa11 I was thinking the same thing. I am awd and raced a Stinger GT RWD modded like this one. I got him off the line as he spun but boy did he pull on me hard at 1/8th mile. However I smoked a lightly modded Stinger off the line: ua-cam.com/video/T4PXV_Xkwp0/v-deo.html
Off the track and on the streets, an awd stinger will run with most anything rwd as street traction is usually compromised with oils or gravel making it harder for high hp cars to hook. These stingers launch violently with awd, to 60 they will be right there with most vehicles, and tuned they really do well! I have both a C7 Grand Sport Convertible corvette and a Stinger GT, on good roads my vette is a good second faster, but road conditions aren’t always good enough to hook the vettes 335’s up half the time and the kia just hooks everywhere.

That is one fast kia. Im just looking at the ET, not the race results. The vette was two car lengths out before the stinger launched.

I give credit to the vette driver. I went to the track a few months ago with my AWD stinger and not one american muscle car in my bracket--street tire division broke under 11--in fact most were very high 12s to 13--although the vette driver had to burn out 20% of his rear tires to get that time.--get your rt down bro--the stinger computer takes a split second and when the last yellow light flashes let off the brake--I powerbraked at 1500 RPM--no launch control and got decent times--but yours was faster.Even with RWD the Stinger computer is better then american cars computer at putting the power down.

Hmm it’s a GT line so parts may differ from the GT. Get a cold air intake and look into tuning it. Even though it’s a GT line, could still make it as fast as a GT.

Agreed. But for a grand you can get those numbers. And take the kids for ice cream. Put the seats down to fit an 80" TV in the back. Snow? AWD. The Sringer is the Jack of Hearts. Not the best, but good in many scenarios.
@@jimmydean314 He's $3-4k in parts alone going by the video description unless he cheaped out on everything, not including labor or tune. The thing you forget is that to run those numbers you're buying a $50k family sedan, jacking up the boost and doubling the hp from what it was safely designed for, as well as dumping the 10 year warranty. As much as I dislike stock cars, you can run 10s in a stock Z06 and still drop it off at the dealer for a new one if something explodes.

Well they always had some rules , but if the car is safe then race it . I like to see all kinds of vehicle's racing but pretty much draw the line at snowmobiles. But nowadays I like real cars the most . The kinds with interiors and doors mostly.
