The information given is based on what works for me, however, there are lots of variables associated with cold process soap making and I therefore, take no responsibility for the results achieved when using the techniques or methods explained in these tutorials. Cold process soap involves the necessary use of sodium Hydroxide (lye) which is a very dangerous substance. Before attempting and cold process soap making you should ensure you are fully aware of the lye safety procedures and always wear the correct safety equipment when making soap.

Thanks for this, Lisa. It was especially helpful to see you working with soap at thick trace. I'm a new soap maker and have panicked when it's thickened substantially. You showed in this video (along with other wonderful techniques), that I don't have to race to the finish, that I've got a little more time than I expected to keep working with thick batters. Your videos are delightful and teach me so much. Thanks for all you do!
Love the sound of birds 🐦 song in a morning,
Great soap design Lisa x
They're so lovely chirping aways, they always make me smile, thank you so much ❤️
Love your artistry, as always!
What about an artist inspired series of soaps, like a Lowry, Monet, Picasso and Salvador Dali. I know you did the scream, but I can't imagine what you'd accomplish!
Thanks so much, I've seen quite a few people doing Starry Night, but there are a few I wouldn't mind trying
As always absolutely gorgeous 💕💕💕 the Queen of extruders has done it again. Love it💕💕
Those are so cute! And I loved hearing the birds chirping in the background.
Thanks so much Andi, I love the birds too
That is wonderful Lisa! I like the bit of wonky door - it gives it character! Thanks for a great video! 💖💖💖
אני פעורת פה ...

לא מובן מאליו ,את מדהימה .
תודה רבה 💖💖💖
I absolutely LOVE your soap creations! I’m also in the UK so love watching what you can and can’t do although there are a few UK people who don’t seem to follow the rules but I’ll stick to your channel, wouldn’t want a telling off from the soap police!! Great job, your creations surprise me in the best way possible 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks so much, yes it can be tricky with all the rules and regs and tough when others just ignore them, so I just do my own thing. Know I'm doing it right and carry on. There are a few UK soap makers like Eden's Secret and Future Primative who have older more flexible assessments, so if you see them being a bit freer with things when they make soap, luckily for them they can do that.
What a lovely soap. So good to see you back. I enjoy watching your soap creations so much.
Aw thank you so much ❤️
Such a beautiful soap, what a lovely idea for a soap design. So many techniques and you pulled them all off so smoothly. Truly a master in soap. Thanks for sharing! xxx

Thank you so much, Lisa, for another very helpful video! What suppliers (soap scents) would you recommend in the UK?
Good to see you Lisa!
Ooooh A dove with olive branch and ‘PAX’ for christmas bar?🤩
Hey, always so lovely to see you. I have done a dove with an olive branch and maybe I'm being a bit dim but what's a pax?
@@IDreamInSoap ya know you're right... I've watched you make that soap 😂
Not being dumb, Latin isn't generally part of the National curriculum, certainly not in my London comprehensive! “Pax” = Peace. (Less letters to smoosh into a bar.)
@@JohannaInTheCorner Ooh how funny. At my senior school, Latin was compulsory for the 1st three years = how mad is that
@@IDreamInSoap I know the same is true for others in the midlands...My godson in Rugby for example studied Latin for a while. I can see an awful lot of sense in it if I'm honest... But then I do like words!
Ok... I'm a little envious now 😂
Wow, Lisa! That's amazing! And I hadn't realized one could combine already emulsified soap with oils. It looked like you just added the soap to the oils pot and then added the lye solution to the whole thing -- is that correct? As always, thank you so much for sharing your ideas and techniques ❤️
Hi thanks so much. Not quite, what I did was put the new oils and lye I needed for that part of the soap in the jug and blended to emulsion, then added the spare thicker soap and just blended it in.
Fabulous. Will you be able to ship to Ireland at any point?
Hi Clara, it's such a pain but unless the cosmetic regulations change then no unfortunately
Hi Lisa. Now i'm curious, what are you doing with the leftover soap that you scraped out?
HI, I let it saponify and make little round mini soaps from it, I either sell them or give away as samples
What is the name of the tool that you use for scraping?
Hi, I make and sell the scraper tools in my shop. They're just called soap scrapers, I don't think they have another name. I make and sell lots of different designs.
