- I have been wanting to change up my desktop. I went to Ikea and bought the Karlby counter top. It weighs about 65 lbs and its pretty sturdy. I have 2 Alex drawers as my stands. I will be setting up lights later.

What i donk like about karlby is the depth. 25inch feels too narrow

@@real_arize Yeah...lol. As long as it does what it does. It plays the game with no problem. I even edit a bunch of videos etc. No issue. Don't understand the big deal.

No it doesn’t. The drawers are shorter. They are the Alex drawers from IKEA

Yes just on top. It hasn’t moved or anything. Pretty sturdy

@@sargecollectsit’s going to start to bend after a while if you don’t put support in the middle with an additional leg
its actually not with this countertop considering its almost 70 pounds and if im guessing everything on top of the counter is around 40 pounds

@@axuttaja it just sits on top. It doesn’t slide around. The original one slid around.

It’s a walnut veneer here is the ikea item number 503.352.08. So far I have no issues or warping/bend.
