I dunno I feel like Hisuian Zoroark may as well be an Echo of normal Zoroark. Then you can give more unique animations that and possibly different effects for certain moves.
Yeah, just having different special effects and very minor differences could be enough to make Hisuian Zoroark an echo, and it could be an easy way to represent the Regional Variants Though they can always just pull a Koopalings and Alph with Bayonetta-style differently colored special effects just for the sake of having the reference while spending even less resources than on an echo, and to have more interesting alts for Zoroark
I think Hisuian Zoroark should be a little stronger, but should take damage from its attacks Pichu style, considering that its energy "lacerates" itself.
I think that a good way to reference their ability to disguise themself as another Pokemon could actually be a bizarre gimmick. Before a match starts, a random fighter would be chosen for Zoroark's artwork and name during the loading screen. If you're in an arena room or local communication battle, the disguise will be in effect there too. In their intro, it would start as that character's before the illusion breaks and Zoroark is shown giving a snicker. It's a great reference to how their ability is normally used, catching your opponent off guard at the start of the match and throwing off their game plan. Imagine thinking that you're going to face someone predictable like a DK or Samus only to suddenly have to deal with a mixup machine instead.
I was thinking something like this! In my mind, in character select if you pick a fighter and hold a certain button (a la melee zelda/sheik) you actually pick Zoroark. It loads you in as the selected other fighter and you are them until you take a certain amount of damage, then transform into Zoroark. Maybe add the ability to respawn as that character during the match too.
I love this- I wonder how broken it would be to keep the disguise until they take 50% or use a special move? Keep the same attacks and hitbox, but just projecting another fighter over the top. Also i'm forever annoyed smash has never had Ditto as a playable character that just instantly clones the nearest player on spawn (or lets you chose a player slot by holding a direction on the joystick)- its basically free.
I feel like this concept would work better with the Hisuian variant being an echo fighter. Those big changes in visuals are exactly the same reason why Dark Pit & Richter are echo fighters & not skins.
If Peach and Daisy can be Echos despite the only differences between them being animations and a slight difference in height, then Zoroark and Hisuian Zoroark can be Echos as well.
I remember back when I made my version of Zoroark's moveset, I made their Smash Attacks take on the forms of Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. (Up, Forward, and Down Smash respectively). Also made Zorua show up to cheer Zoroark on, like Rex to Pyra and Mythra. All in all, fantastic work, and a great service to my favorite Pokémon ever!!!
Greninja, Sceptile and Zoroark were some of my most wanted Pokemon characters in the Smash 4 days and while I got my Gen 6 rep, Gen's 3 and 5 were skipped and unfortunately, I think that's gonna stay the same. The only way I can see Zoroark getting a slight chance of getting in a future smash game would be if Gen 5 was getting remade and/or Zoroark for whatever reason gets a massive amount of promotion but even so, that didn't help Sceptile make it in despite the Gen 3 remakes and the heavy mega evolution promotion at the time. But hey, thanks for at least creating a vision or "illusion" of one of my older wanted characters.
call me crazy, but i'd prefer *gardevoir* over sceptile as gen 3 rep in smash, personal opnion. i mean, gardevoir and zoroark could both get some help from 'pokemon unite' in order to get some iconic moveset. gardevoir definitely is worth something more than being "furries in internet's wife...ish animal(...) or something like that", as well. but anyway, sceptile would be cool in smash as well.
@@demonpikmin2343You know, I'd actually really like that. If not Sceptile, Gardevoir would honestly be my 2nd pick for a gen 3 rep. Despite how cursed her fan reputation is, she's still one of my favorite mons in the series and would definitely be a unique fighter in Smash.
I imagine Foul Play wouldn't work against command grabs, either- but imagine pulling out a Wonderwing, Power Wave, or Ganon smash against your foe in their weakest moment.
I absolutely love your idea for Foul Play, a unique counter like that would be super fun to see in the game. Especially with the visual flare of the shadowy illusionary fighters performing their moves.
Ideas: For its dodge rolls, it just disappears and reappears, implying its previous location was just an illusion. For stage entrance, N appears on stage, before backflipping as the illusion falls and reveals Zoroark, playing into the theory N is actually a Zoroark (Also N being one of the more prominent trainers to canonically have a Zoroark). A taunt could have the unevolved Zorua pop out of its evolved forms mane, only for the protective Zoroark to push it back into hiding where it's safer. Alternate Up Special, if you really want Night Slash/Shadow Claw to Side Special, is Pursuit. Surrounded in a dark aura, Zoroark rushes in any direction the stick is held after it's done charging up (Like Fox and Falco), and can do greater damage if the foes it hits happen to be facing away from it, as to reference Pursuit doing more damage if an opponent is retreating from battle.
I've seen many Smash Bros. moveset concepts for Zoroark, and this is without question the best one! Seriously, you really nail both forms of Zoroark in terms of aesthetics and abilities. This is the kind of playstyle I feel best suits Zoroark, and would definitely help make Zoroark one of my mains. And major kudos for not trying to force in Zoroark's "illusory disguise" gimmick into the moveset like most other moveset concepts tried. Like, I understand wanting to be faithful to the original Pokemon games, but what works in there doesn't necessarily work in Smash Bros and Zoroark disguising itself as other characters offers no benefit whatsoever. Best to just lean into other illusion-based stuff, such as illusory clones, just as Greninja leans into ninja stuff (not all of which the Pokemon is capable of in official games) and Incineroar leans into pro wrestling stuff (also not all usable in official games). Also much appreciation for lamenting Zoroark's poor luck with the Smash Bros. series. Zoroark should've been playable in Smash 4, not a PokeBall summon...
I was surprised it didn't show up in Smash 4 instead of Greninja, who, at the time of the game's development, only existed in concept art. Zoroark feels like it offers more than Greninja in terms of a unique moveset. Zoroark's deign features heavy elements from kabuki, with the marks on its face and large, long hair actors are shown to whip around. I think this influence would be more present in a fight game moveset, with kabuki hopping palm slaps, hair whip up tilts, and Mie posing. This would exclude Hisuian form who likewise has their hair pulling a lot of weight for what makes it unique, with flowing tentacle-like wisps instead.
I made a moveset for Zoroark quite a while back. It's quite a bit different, but *somewhat* similar to this one. It had a focus on mindgames, different inputs for said mindgame variations of moves, and it even had Shadow Claw specifically as the Up Special. But THIS concept *blew mine out of the water in every way.* Seriously, it's crazy how creative you are. I'd definitely play as Zoroark! Keep up the great work!

Realistically they'd probably be echo fighters where the only difference is maybe a move attribute or two and their animations changing hitboxes, like Daisy and Richter. GJ!
I would have liked for one of their taunts have them briefly transformation into the opponent, and then change back. Probably a long taunt like bayo. But can cancel them mid way. But also have it to have the transformation sound effect like they did with zorua and zoroark in their movie

Zoroark was that pokemon that was revealed WAY back in gen 5 that I saw and immediately thought they'd be obvious Smash Bros material that just never showed beyond the pokeball.
Yeah, timing to be a double edge sword. Even assuming that the next match game has been discussed right now, they’ll probably actively consider Gen 9 instead. A shame, as Zoroark would be awesome. That said, the embiggened purple hand constructs give me MCU Ms. Marvel vibes, not that I’m complaining. Although in the case of Kamala, it’s hard light (or Noor) rather than ghostly energy.
Another thing that destroyed Zoroark's potential almost immediately was the fact that it was introduced in the same game that introduced Team Preview, severely limiting the potential Illusion could have had.

Great moveset as always, I'm especially a massive fan of how you adapted Foul Play. That's a perfect representation of what Zoroark is lore-wise capable of and would make it a very fun character for whom no two matches would feel alike. One thing I think you missed an opportunity with is the taunts. While I like all three of the taunts you gave to Zoroark, that's the perfect place to allow it to use its signature ability to disguise itself as visually identical to other players on the field, because this avoids having the ability affect gameplay at all, which would make it drastically difficult to translate.
If Sakurai and Nintendo gave Smash DLC another shot at things, then their chances could depend really on the new Generation (Scarlet/Violet) or the Galar region's popularity. As long as another element type were to get in, I'd be happy for Zoroark.

If gen 6 wasn't on the horizon when Sm4sh was in development, I honestly have no doubt Zoroark would've been the Pokemon chosen. This is a pretty great moveset for what could've been.
Now that's something, essentially two characters into one with enough signature flair it doesn't feel like a a forced option. Pretty sweet idea right there. Hell, the whole illusory kit is something insane to work with.

Yeah, I had a Zoroark in my party throughout USUM (I love Dark types, of COURSE it'd be on my team! Especially if I could catch it on the FIRST city!) And I only accidentally realized Zoroark could fool Necrozma. Crazy part is I was just trying to Toxic it and wait it out while the poison did its work!
Zoroark and Sceptile are my two favorite Pokemon, and my two most wanted Pokemon additions to Smash. It pains me how they've both just narrowly missed their opportunities TWICE now. Still, excellent moveset for Zoroark. Not sure who you're planning next, but still hoping for Krystal or some other Star Fox fighter. Would love to see your take on a new spacie moveset. Seeing her in the video for a brief moment gives me hope, ha.
This moveset seems crazy to make and implement in game. Also, a Smash minor league spinoff, where lesser known characters actually get a chance to shine? I'm down with that; hell could pull a Pokémon and have two versions: one with the crazy fan requests, the one with lesser known inclusions, maybe to appeal to both. Probably sounds half baked, though.
Another Smashing Challenger Approaching! video, Delzethin! :D While it is cool that Zoroark is in Smash via Monster Ball since For, it's still a shame that it missed its chance TWICE now of joining Smash, especially considering the fact that Sword/Shield didn't get a newcomer (which I'm still shocked that didn't happen throughout the entirety of Fighter Pass 2), but, hopefully, with the newest release of a Hisuian variation of one of the most popular Pocket Monster rookies from Black/White in the very recent Pokemon Legends Arceus, the game has at least somewhat increased its chances of joining the fray by a presumable sixth Smash installment (although, it's more likely that a new Pokemon from Gen 9, or maybe even Gen 10 will become Smash 6's newcomer)! I love the variety of source material you've managed to pull off for Zoroark, and I'm surprised to even see Glare as its pummel, that's something different! XD I think I'm gonna have to agree with KToon in saying that Hisuian Zoroark may actually work better as a Dash Fighter for the creature since it has a different appearance, and different special effects for specific abilities, though it also could work as simple alts similar to Pikmin & Alph, and the Koopalings (though, part of me still kinda wishes that in a way the former was a clone of Pikmin & Olimar as originally intended for For)! Yeah, I feel like at this point since there's been many other highly requested characters that have been neglected, there kinda should be like a Smash spin-off of some kind where fighters that were massively requested could finally be included in the roster. I really LOVE the Zoroark artwork for this video with both of its variations present on either half of its body, it's my favorite one yet, it's gorgeous! Well, since there is no 3 poll results at the end this time for specifically the next episode, I look forward to seeing who the surprise fighter will be! :)
Since smash is done adding new characters, it’d be really cool to see some entries in this series for multiversus since the options are nearly endless!
Really cool moveset! I like pokemon concepts cause even if I'm not a fan of the specific one chosen, there's a good chance I'll still see a concept for a move or two that I like from some other 'mon. I really like your take on Foul Play, it's super creative and so unique, especially for a counter-type move.
Zoroark was my favorite Pokemon for a brief period after I played White (my first Pokemon), and Hisuian Zoroark is even cooler to me. It's probably my #1 most wanted Pokemon for Smash at this point. Considering how Gen 7 gave us the first legendaries/mythicals capable of evolving, it's funny how Zorua and Zoroark weren't classified as mythicals despite them being just as difficult to obtain as a mythical (initially). I LOVE the concept of Unovan and Hisuian Zoroark being alternate skins of each other; I'm honestly shocked that never occurred to me. Pulling from the TCG is neat, and turning moves like Leer and Scary Face into attacking moves is (ironically) hilarious. Night Daze / Bitter Malice is a brilliant way to incorporate the "illusions" concept, and Foul Play is maybe the most creative counter concept I've ever seen. Overall, this may be one of my favorite fan movesets ever, and it really helped remind me of why I love Zoroark so much.

Great work as usual. I definitely want Noah and Mio and it’s easy to make them, thier fusion arts as thier special and maybe a meter where they can unite in thier Ourburos form, giving them bigger range and power.
Keeping it real, a Smash game with only new characters would definitely flop. Without iconic staples like Mario, Link, and Pikachu, most people (especially casual players) wouldn’t want to play the game. Even if it wasn’t only newcomers but mostly newcomers it would still flop for the same reason. It was a huge mistake when Street Fighter 3, Soulcalibur 5, and some other games did that and it wouldn’t be smart for Nintendo to do that with Smash.

I was wondering if you could do a video for Duna from the Fossil Fighters series. I have been working on a moveset for some time now and I would like to see your take on it. She could utilize moves such as a Lazer gun, stone sleep, Dinomaton, idolcomps, Rosie's pickaxe, ptera Summon for recovery, acrobatics, Vivosaur Transformation that allows use of reversing the opponent's controls or reduces damage by half for about 15 seconds, and the Caliostio Pipsqueak for the final smash. I know that this is a lot but I truly believe that she could be a fun character to play as, in addition to showing a some love to a series that many have forgotten.

Being my favourite Pokémon from my favourite generation, I would be trilled for zoroark in smash. But already being a pokeball in ultimate (and pretty sure smash4) as well as being from an older generation, he fell of my list of wanted characters.

This is really cool. I always wanted Genesect as a gen 5 rep, but Zoroark is the prime candidate and its illusion ability would make for a great moveset. For me, each Pokemon generation should have a corresponding playable pokemon. I would gladly sacrifice a couple of gen 1 pokemons (Jigglypuff and Pokemon Trainer) in exchange of a gen 3, 5, 8 and 9 rep.

Zoroark/Hisuian Zoroark They’ll be a Great/Huge Impacted Pick to see In Super Smash Bros.™️ I could see them as Alternative There’s a lot of moves that could work as a Moveset to see in SSB6 of I should say: Super Smash Bros.™️ Infinite until 2026 that’s my safer prediction. I know they’ll make their appearance very soon since we didn’t get a Gen 5 Representative In Smash 4/Smash Bros Ultimate.

If they get him in smash I’d want him to be announced with another fighter looking like it’s unlikely to win this matchup then bam they get hit and becomes zororark to counter it as a crazy thing it can just be something like a set of caricters that doesn’t match good in one way with old fighters so they only announce one fighter instead of 2 so one isn’t over shadowed

Mainline Future game: Bandana Dee, Issac From Golden Sun, Dixie Kong From Donkey Kong Series/DKC Franchise as a Stand-alone fighter, Decidueye as another additional Original Long-awaited considered playable fighter to be the Gen 7 he’s what I’m thinking I think we’ll get I think we will get 5 New Pokémon characters in the next Smash I have a Good feeling it’ll be a Generation 8 Representative: Cinderace/Inteleon/Rillaboom + Urshifu (Single Strike Form/Rapid Strike Form) as a New Standalone fighter and Gen 9 Character but it’s likely that Smash Bros. will return someday in the future. Just wondering, would you make character concepts for characters not from video games? If so, please do Darth Vader next. He is my favorite villain of all time and would love to see a moveset for him especially since it has never been done before. I even have an idea for the grab where he uses the force to lift up his opponent off the ground and also has one of the furthest ranges for grabs in the game. The pummel would be force choke where if you HOLD the A button he'll start force choking the opponent dealing continuous small, but decent damage until he snaps their neck, dealing the amount of damage a normal pummel would and then let's go. It wouldn't really launch foes unless if they're at high percentages and would also have a bit of end lag. I also know the playstyle he would have, and it would be to pressure opponents and deal as much damage as possible.
Please do Ajna from Indivisible. I know it's a pipe dream but I really liked the game and mabye just mabye getting smash could give the game a second wind. Even without trying to work in the Incarnats from the game I think she has alot of versatility. She welids an Axe,Spear,bow, and chained syckel, Has multiple forms from her indra meter and just has a simple but fun design.
Hey Delzethin, what about Noah & Mio to celebrate Xenoblade 3's release? They could swap between each other like Pyra & Mythra with a meter that lets them transform into their Ouroboros forms which they can also swap between each other
For Smash Ultimate, yes. But there will definitely be a next Smash game, the series is too big for Nintendo to just drop it. This is especially true as more platform fighters have come out of the woodwork, including one (MultiVersus) that has actually gained mainstream popularity.

I imagine Foul Play wouldn't work against command grabs, either- but imagine pulling out a Wonderwing, Power Wave, or Ganon smash against your foe in their weakest moment.
I absolutely love your idea for Foul Play, a unique counter like that would be super fun to see in the game. Especially with the visual flare of the shadowy illusionary fighters performing their moves.
Ideas: For its dodge rolls, it just disappears and reappears, implying its previous location was just an illusion. For stage entrance, N appears on stage, before backflipping as the illusion falls and reveals Zoroark, playing into the theory N is actually a Zoroark (Also N being one of the more prominent trainers to canonically have a Zoroark). A taunt could have the unevolved Zorua pop out of its evolved forms mane, only for the protective Zoroark to push it back into hiding where it's safer.
Alternate Up Special, if you really want Night Slash/Shadow Claw to Side Special, is Pursuit. Surrounded in a dark aura, Zoroark rushes in any direction the stick is held after it's done charging up (Like Fox and Falco), and can do greater damage if the foes it hits happen to be facing away from it, as to reference Pursuit doing more damage if an opponent is retreating from battle.
I've seen many Smash Bros. moveset concepts for Zoroark, and this is without question the best one! Seriously, you really nail both forms of Zoroark in terms of aesthetics and abilities. This is the kind of playstyle I feel best suits Zoroark, and would definitely help make Zoroark one of my mains.
And major kudos for not trying to force in Zoroark's "illusory disguise" gimmick into the moveset like most other moveset concepts tried. Like, I understand wanting to be faithful to the original Pokemon games, but what works in there doesn't necessarily work in Smash Bros and Zoroark disguising itself as other characters offers no benefit whatsoever. Best to just lean into other illusion-based stuff, such as illusory clones, just as Greninja leans into ninja stuff (not all of which the Pokemon is capable of in official games) and Incineroar leans into pro wrestling stuff (also not all usable in official games).
Also much appreciation for lamenting Zoroark's poor luck with the Smash Bros. series. Zoroark should've been playable in Smash 4, not a PokeBall summon...
I was surprised it didn't show up in Smash 4 instead of Greninja, who, at the time of the game's development, only existed in concept art. Zoroark feels like it offers more than Greninja in terms of a unique moveset.
Zoroark's deign features heavy elements from kabuki, with the marks on its face and large, long hair actors are shown to whip around. I think this influence would be more present in a fight game moveset, with kabuki hopping palm slaps, hair whip up tilts, and Mie posing. This would exclude Hisuian form who likewise has their hair pulling a lot of weight for what makes it unique, with flowing tentacle-like wisps instead.
I made a moveset for Zoroark quite a while back. It's quite a bit different, but *somewhat* similar to this one. It had a focus on mindgames, different inputs for said mindgame variations of moves, and it even had Shadow Claw specifically as the Up Special.
But THIS concept *blew mine out of the water in every way.* Seriously, it's crazy how creative you are. I'd definitely play as Zoroark! Keep up the great work!
Love the moveset! Though personally I think Hisuian Zoroark should be an echo fighter as it would be radical to see both with a slightly different play style!
Realistically they'd probably be echo fighters where the only difference is maybe a move attribute or two and their animations changing hitboxes, like Daisy and Richter.

I would have liked for one of their taunts have them briefly transformation into the opponent, and then change back. Probably a long taunt like bayo. But can cancel them mid way. But also have it to have the transformation sound effect like they did with zorua and zoroark in their movie

Zoroark was that pokemon that was revealed WAY back in gen 5 that I saw and immediately thought they'd be obvious Smash Bros material that just never showed beyond the pokeball.
Yeah, timing to be a double edge sword. Even assuming that the next match game has been discussed right now, they’ll probably actively consider Gen 9 instead. A shame, as Zoroark would be awesome.
That said, the embiggened purple hand constructs give me MCU Ms. Marvel vibes, not that I’m complaining. Although in the case of Kamala, it’s hard light (or Noor) rather than ghostly energy.
Another thing that destroyed Zoroark's potential almost immediately was the fact that it was introduced in the same game that introduced Team Preview, severely limiting the potential Illusion could have had.

Great moveset as always, I'm especially a massive fan of how you adapted Foul Play. That's a perfect representation of what Zoroark is lore-wise capable of and would make it a very fun character for whom no two matches would feel alike. One thing I think you missed an opportunity with is the taunts. While I like all three of the taunts you gave to Zoroark, that's the perfect place to allow it to use its signature ability to disguise itself as visually identical to other players on the field, because this avoids having the ability affect gameplay at all, which would make it drastically difficult to translate.
If Sakurai and Nintendo gave Smash DLC another shot at things, then their chances could depend really on the new Generation (Scarlet/Violet) or the Galar region's popularity.
As long as another element type were to get in, I'd be happy for Zoroark.

If gen 6 wasn't on the horizon when Sm4sh was in development, I honestly have no doubt Zoroark would've been the Pokemon chosen. This is a pretty great moveset for what could've been.
Zoroark even got a Master Ball summon that looks like a Final Smash as a consolation prize.
Now that's something, essentially two characters into one with enough signature flair it doesn't feel like a a forced option. Pretty sweet idea right there.
Hell, the whole illusory kit is something insane to work with.

Yeah, I had a Zoroark in my party throughout USUM (I love Dark types, of COURSE it'd be on my team! Especially if I could catch it on the FIRST city!) And I only accidentally realized Zoroark could fool Necrozma. Crazy part is I was just trying to Toxic it and wait it out while the poison did its work!
Zoroark and Sceptile are my two favorite Pokemon, and my two most wanted Pokemon additions to Smash. It pains me how they've both just narrowly missed their opportunities TWICE now. Still, excellent moveset for Zoroark. Not sure who you're planning next, but still hoping for Krystal or some other Star Fox fighter. Would love to see your take on a new spacie moveset. Seeing her in the video for a brief moment gives me hope, ha.

This moveset seems crazy to make and implement in game. Also, a Smash minor league spinoff, where lesser known characters actually get a chance to shine? I'm down with that; hell could pull a Pokémon and have two versions: one with the crazy fan requests, the one with lesser known inclusions, maybe to appeal to both. Probably sounds half baked, though.
Another Smashing Challenger Approaching! video, Delzethin! :D While it is cool that Zoroark is in Smash via Monster Ball since For, it's still a shame that it missed its chance TWICE now of joining Smash, especially considering the fact that Sword/Shield didn't get a newcomer (which I'm still shocked that didn't happen throughout the entirety of Fighter Pass 2), but, hopefully, with the newest release of a Hisuian variation of one of the most popular Pocket Monster rookies from Black/White in the very recent Pokemon Legends Arceus, the game has at least somewhat increased its chances of joining the fray by a presumable sixth Smash installment (although, it's more likely that a new Pokemon from Gen 9, or maybe even Gen 10 will become Smash 6's newcomer)! I love the variety of source material you've managed to pull off for Zoroark, and I'm surprised to even see Glare as its pummel, that's something different! XD I think I'm gonna have to agree with KToon in saying that Hisuian Zoroark may actually work better as a Dash Fighter for the creature since it has a different appearance, and different special effects for specific abilities, though it also could work as simple alts similar to Pikmin & Alph, and the Koopalings (though, part of me still kinda wishes that in a way the former was a clone of Pikmin & Olimar as originally intended for For)! Yeah, I feel like at this point since there's been many other highly requested characters that have been neglected, there kinda should be like a Smash spin-off of some kind where fighters that were massively requested could finally be included in the roster. I really LOVE the Zoroark artwork for this video with both of its variations present on either half of its body, it's my favorite one yet, it's gorgeous! Well, since there is no 3 poll results at the end this time for specifically the next episode, I look forward to seeing who the surprise fighter will be! :)

Zoroark was my favorite Pokemon for a brief period after I played White (my first Pokemon), and Hisuian Zoroark is even cooler to me. It's probably my #1 most wanted Pokemon for Smash at this point.
Considering how Gen 7 gave us the first legendaries/mythicals capable of evolving, it's funny how Zorua and Zoroark weren't classified as mythicals despite them being just as difficult to obtain as a mythical (initially).
I LOVE the concept of Unovan and Hisuian Zoroark being alternate skins of each other; I'm honestly shocked that never occurred to me.
Pulling from the TCG is neat, and turning moves like Leer and Scary Face into attacking moves is (ironically) hilarious.
Night Daze / Bitter Malice is a brilliant way to incorporate the "illusions" concept, and Foul Play is maybe the most creative counter concept I've ever seen.
Overall, this may be one of my favorite fan movesets ever, and it really helped remind me of why I love Zoroark so much.

I can see this happening in one specific circumstance. If the next game in the Smash series had ONLY (or just a very high majority of) newcomers.
Keeping it real, a Smash game with only new characters would definitely flop. Without iconic staples like Mario, Link, and Pikachu, most people (especially casual players) wouldn’t want to play the game.
Even if it wasn’t only newcomers but mostly newcomers it would still flop for the same reason. It was a huge mistake when Street Fighter 3, Soulcalibur 5, and some other games did that and it wouldn’t be smart for Nintendo to do that with Smash.

I was wondering if you could do a video for Duna from the Fossil Fighters series. I have been working on a moveset for some time now and I would like to see your take on it. She could utilize moves such as a Lazer gun, stone sleep, Dinomaton, idolcomps, Rosie's pickaxe, ptera Summon for recovery, acrobatics, Vivosaur Transformation that allows use of reversing the opponent's controls or reduces damage by half for about 15 seconds, and the Caliostio Pipsqueak for the final smash. I know that this is a lot but I truly believe that she could be a fun character to play as, in addition to showing a some love to a series that many have forgotten.

This is really cool. I always wanted Genesect as a gen 5 rep, but Zoroark is the prime candidate and its illusion ability would make for a great moveset.
For me, each Pokemon generation should have a corresponding playable pokemon. I would gladly sacrifice a couple of gen 1 pokemons (Jigglypuff and Pokemon Trainer) in exchange of a gen 3, 5, 8 and 9 rep.
What about the Hisiuan Trainer would allow Cynderquill Dewott and Decidueye it work best for gen 2 5 7 again huh

Mainline Future game: Bandana Dee, Issac From Golden Sun, Dixie Kong From Donkey Kong Series/DKC Franchise as a Stand-alone fighter, Decidueye as another additional Original Long-awaited considered playable fighter to be the Gen 7 he’s what I’m thinking I think we’ll get I think we will get 5 New Pokémon characters in the next Smash I have a Good feeling it’ll be a Generation 8 Representative: Cinderace/Inteleon/Rillaboom + Urshifu (Single Strike Form/Rapid Strike Form) as a New Standalone fighter and Gen 9 Character but it’s likely that Smash Bros. will return someday in the future. Just wondering, would you make character concepts for characters not from video games? If so, please do Darth Vader next. He is my favorite villain of all time and would love to see a moveset for him especially since it has never been done before. I even have an idea for the grab where he uses the force to lift up his opponent off the ground and also has one of the furthest ranges for grabs in the game. The pummel would be force choke where if you HOLD the A button he'll start force choking the opponent dealing continuous small, but decent damage until he snaps their neck, dealing the amount of damage a normal pummel would and then let's go. It wouldn't really launch foes unless if they're at high percentages and would also have a bit of end lag. I also know the playstyle he would have, and it would be to pressure opponents and deal as much damage as possible.

For Smash Ultimate, yes. But there will definitely be a next Smash game, the series is too big for Nintendo to just drop it. This is especially true as more platform fighters have come out of the woodwork, including one (MultiVersus) that has actually gained mainstream popularity.
