Even factoring in all the accolades he's received over the years, I still consider Glen Campbell to be so very underrated. A prolific entertainer; an incomparable singer with perfect diction, timing, pitch, and with a natural smoothness to his voice. One of the best guitar players there ever has been. A writer, an actor, a comedian, a host. He acted with John Wayne in True Grit, as well as sang the theme song. His talent was tremendous, a gift from God. I will miss him so much--

+85nikki96 I agree with you. Even I think of him as an unbelievable singer when clearly he is also an unbelievable guitarist. Maybe because he was so humble and unassuming is why he didn't get more recognition than he did. I think he was just having fun and not necessarily consumed with having all the attention that the stars of today crave.

That was the saddest part, seeing a man that was the picture of health just wither away, knowing his family was going through a horrible time. I faced it as a young child with my Grandmother, and thankfully, she didn't linger, but it still broke our hearts every day. Glenn isn't in pain now though, and we can keep his memory alive, right?

Good old Glen. I like and respect this man very much. This Rhinestone cowboy has been battling with alzheimer's. How much toll with his fading memory. Yet he still took to the stage alongside his loving daughter. Bravo!

I'm not sure what year it was . I was born in 1965. I remember listening to Glen Campbell sing Galveston on a 45 record my dad would play over and over. Then when I was about 10 our clock radio would go off at 7am so we could get up for school. And almost every morning there would Glen and the Rhinestone Cowboy playing.

How great to make music with a loved one. My dad and I used to sing together. Sometimes I'd play the violin and he'd sing. I miss those days.

Just saw the movie on CNN. What a revelation. I'm 56 so when I would think of Glen Campbell I only could think of Rhinestone Cowboy, which is a great song, but was played to death in the 70's, when I wanted to listen to classic rock. Glen is the real deal. Without the movie I would have had no idea of his brilliance. Thanks to his wife and everybody else for letting us in on the last years of his life.

Before people had ever heard of Glen Campbell, he was one of the finest session guitar players ever. See the documentary about the Wrecking Crew. He played on so many recordings from Frank Sinatra to the Beach Boys and everything in between.

I cry when I watch this. My Dad died from Alzheimers. I went to see one of Glen's last concerts in 2010. Dad died a couple months later. I still remember being a kid watching the "Glen Campbell Good Time Hour" in the late 60's. Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, Dean Martin and Bob Hope (and the Smothers Brothers) had a way of making you feel you good back then.

My all time favorite country singer one of the very best so much talent and a remarkable voice. What i loved about him so much was he never denied anything he done in his life drinking and cocaine he said once i went crazy then 😂 and even with Alzheimers he never lost his love of music, so heart breaking to watch RIP Glenn.

Glen Campbell sang simple, and yet he sang better. I mean who does that. Wonderful! As far as Ashley Campbell. I love her! I suppose she is too busy living her dream. I pray that she is happy. I wish I could give her a hug and thank her for what she did for her father. Like me being able to hug her, like that would ever happen. God bless, enjoyed the videos. ❤
