- From the first time Kendall Jones went to Africa with her Dad and Mom, to this day, Kendall Jones has loved hunting. Her first safari when she was young sealed that love and when she was 19 years old she went back to Africa to kill a lion with her bow. From that hunt until today Kendall's life has been filled with challenges that most people do not face.
Our stories are what make us who we are. We are able to control the narrative in some of our chapters, while others are unexpected and turn our life upside down. You've endured so much at a young age and in a short period of time. Where many may have folded under the pressure and stress, you found strength. You found passion. I can only pray that my 3 daughters grow into the strong woman you are today. Your Father would be Proud of the Woman you've become.

First, I’m not big on safari hunting because of my own beliefs, but I will not condemn those that do as long as they are doing so for the proper reasons. That being said Ms Jones my hat is off to you for all your struggles and triumphs you have faced and continue you face. I watched through the whole documentary.
I’m sorry for your loss of your father. My children lost their father when they were 12 and 16, and then their sister a year later. Very tragic.
I have a serious question because it wasn’t addressed in the documentary. I am a huge animal lover. They are all intelligent and beautiful. I’m just wondering, how can you kill a living creature? How can you look at them, and want to hurt them? I’m asking because I genuinely am trying to understand. I hope you can respond, I’m asking respectfully.

Kendall you are the very best keep doing what you do we all have the times where people hate on you but we all get through it and just become stronger, and love hunting even more. When I was in 3rd grade this kind of stuff happened to me because I wore a hoodie with my first buck/deer on it and my teacher did not agree with hunting and caused a whole big deal and made me take it off then newspaper, news channels and people wanted my story and you Kendall helped me through and ,]made me want t o go out again and got a doe I have since then got 2 more bucks, a beautiful tom turkey, and a ram. I feel so very special to be lucky enough to be able to hunt and have such a good time doing it. Kendall you have a very special place in mt heart and I will never forget what you did yo help me through and support me.

Kendall, Thank You so much for being a light in this world! You are an inspiration to the young adults in this world who don't have their heads in the sand. I am an old guy, so my morals haven't been stained by the liberal deluge of human debris that has caused you so much heartache. I have hunted in my early years and haven't been in a long time. To be honest I'm not to sure I could release an arrow or pull the trigger on anything anymore because at this stage in life I am so amazed at Gods creation I would rather just watch them than hunt. That being said I am avidly outspoken concerning hunters rights and your right to pursue your passion. I have been to Africa several times and also took my oldest son when he was 14, those experiences changed my life and way of thinking so profoundly. Most of your critics wouldn't do anything to help a fellow human, have never actively engaged anything more than running their mouth when it comes to conservation and in reality have no clue when it comes to understanding that hunters are the people who have rolled up their sleeves and fund most of the conservation efforts we know today. I remember the first time I rolled up on a pride of lions, faces of the cubs still stained with blood, from the evenings kill of a cape buffalo. The males so filled they only sat there and yawned as I took pictures. Africa will always be in my heart. What your father did for you is such a precious gift, I am so sorry for your loss! You are in my prayers and always remember you have a great cloud of witness watching over you from heaven, smiling down on you and cheering you on! Remember one thing for me, always know that there are those of us who stand with you, don't let anything these reprobates say get you down. Keep that glowing smile and winning way and always put God first and you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. No weapon formed against you will prosper! Much love from Alabama!

But that way you handled it is something I know I wouldn’t have been able to do, and that makes me look up to you even more!
