- Priscilla Presley tears up as she reminisces over her relationship with the late Elvis Presley while discussing her new biopic, 'Priscilla,' at the Venice Film Festival. The 78-year-old, who is a producer on the film, wasn’t part of the panel, but she took the mic to answer a question in the audience from a journalist. 'Priscilla' will be released in limited theaters Oct. 27.

I don't believe her. After all she's a pretty good actress. Why this after the successful Elvis movie? She is not the star of Elvis' story. He was. I'm her age. If someone is the love of your life, you don't leave when you see they are self destructing with meds. The vows, in sickness and in health. Not only for the glamour, money and fame. I am now waiting to hear what Billy and Jo Smith have to say about this movie. They were there throughout Elvis' time with Priscilla. They were very close to Elvis, and Jo Smith spent a lot of time with Priscilla.

If Sofia wants dark and edgy she should make a movie off the book Child Bride which Priscilla tried to stop from getting published, took to court. But couldn’t stop the book. Priscilla was so worried she had a minor car accident after she met with the author.
Also,Elvis never called her after he left the Army. He resumed his relationship with Anita Wood, and it was Priscilla who wrote him desperate letters to Elvis and called him while she dated boys in high school in Germany.
This is in Child Bride and all sources stood by their stories. Not one changed it.
I’m amazed how many people serve and drink her koolaid even after we now know that Lisa Marie had removed her from Graceland Trust, and took her to court for the million dollars Pris was paying herself a year from the Trust for 30 years and then Pris disputed her own grandchildren’s inheritance having Riley to oblige to her demands for her to walk away. What a sweet emotional lady!

I liked Sofia’s work but this was not the right project. Lisa was not in approval of it. She mentioned it last year and was at odds with Priscilla about it too.
She just wants to earn the sympathy and support of the millions who have expressed are against her burial at Graceland, not even on that matter does Elvis have a saying on. She’s unbelievable!

& watched his career rise & fall along with his health. So during that short time she experienced so much. No other woman can say that. She could not live his life style any longer thus the divorce. She had no identity. She also had to live with Elvis & his Mafia circle of a group of men ( boys) who surrounded him 24 /7. No matter how much she loved him she could not watch his self destruction. She needed a husband who would be able to give time to her & their daughter. Being an entertainer is not the normal career. Very few couples can last for the long term.

As soon as Priscilla and Elvis were married, their relationship deteriorated because Priscilla stopped being the demure innocent woman she played before the wedding and became demanding and critical of everything Elvis did. Elvis realized that Priscilla didn't love him and probably never had.
