Just because Elvis names Vernon in his will as executor of the estate doesn’t mean he opened Graceland. He died in 1979 before Graceland was opened to the public. Vernon’s will passed the responsibility of the estate to Priscilla, the Family Accountant & The National Bank of Commerce in Memphis.
