- Priscilla Presley has emotionally discussed the tragic and sudden death of her daughter, Lisa Marie Presley - recounting the final hug the pair shared.
In a wide-ranging interview with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan, Ms Presley spoke of the final moments the pair shared together.
Ms Presley, who was with her daughter at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, recounted Lisa Marie complained of having a sore stomach before she left for the evening.
"I hugged her, and she went her way and I went mine," Ms Presley said.
"And that hug was the last hug I gave her.
"It's still shocking that, you know, I don't - we don't have her."
Ms Presley said she was "too late" to make it to the hospital to see her daughter again.
Lisa Marie Presley died earlier this year on January 12 due to a bowel obstruction.

I worked Private Security for Lisa's for almost 9 years until I became too sick to work (Cancer Survivor) she came every week to set with my wife while I was going through treatment. She had a million and other things to do but took time to visit me and keep my wife from being alone. I will never forget you, Sunshine. Her father was my hero she never would have found that out if not for my wife telling her at her Christmas party.

I did I will never forget her the cool thing is she was fighting mad(Lisa had her dad's temper) when the company decided they wanted someone to take because they needed me to train some brain dead goof who most likely would get fired. She said "I want to talk to that idiot boss you have please."She than told him someone will bring the uniform back to you 1st thing in the morning" that was it I now worked for a Presley. Lisa and Priscilla were not close. For the last 8 years of her life they hardly spoke to each other. Lisa agreed to appear at the award ceremony only if she didn't have to sit next to Priscilla. In 2021 I lost my mother to Covid, I suffered and still suffer to this day with her absence, it is extremely painful to deal with. Now imagine if it were the other way around. I'm not a mother but I imagine that for a mother it is extremely painful to lose a son or daughter

There's something not quite right about Priscilla. She says when Elvis died that she broke the news to nine year old Lisa by telling her that her dad was resting. Then she went to play on a golf buggy with a friend. Not quite understanding what happened. No wonder. A child that age Knows what death means. Then the night of the Elvis movie awards where Lisa needed help to stay upright And looked Very unwell. She told her mother later in the night as they went out for a drink. After taking Seperate cars. That she had terrible stomach pains and needed to leave. Taking Seperate cars!!! Why didn't Priscilla take her to the hospital!!!! That's the last time she saw her alive!

She then said " she didnt know how to tell her, she was sent a private plane and explained to Lisa before seeing him that he'd be resting"She is a liar! It's not until a movie comes out about her ex-husband that her daughter even spoke to her and I dont believe it was the two of them that went anywhere together! She did much to keep that legacy healthy. If she got rich doing so, Elvis’s mystique benefitted, as well. Today, the only big stars of the old days who continue to capture the public imagination in fervent ways are stars like Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Judy Garland, a handful of others. They were all larger than life in some way and each has some quality that lends itself to being introduced to new generations. Priscilla P was definitely an opportunist, but she “worked it” and people still remember Elvis who might have let his body of work fall by the wayside. Lisa Marie probably didn’t stand a chance for a long life. Fame and addiction = doom.

I used to like Pricilla - but she's just milking things. Now, she doesn't have Lisa Marie - there is a next generation. A generation that did not know Elvis. She just needs to live quietly out of the spot light. This "story" was never reported before. It's been reported they were not even talking at the premier. There has never been this version, Pricilla's version, until now.

What despair for Priscilla. It's hard losing your parents no matter what your age. Priscilla had 3 losses back to back. The shocking suicide of her grandson, losing her own mother the following year and then her only daughter. Elvis struggled with drug addiction but he died young. Priscilla has lived longer, suffered so much more. Praying that she finds peace.

I'm very sorry you lost your mother. I was never close to my mom. When she died, she was in another state. The morning, she went into the hospital. I was in a car accident so I couldn't leave. My mom lost consciousness. She would just lay there for days on end, and the nurse said, "Is she waiting for somebody?? The next day, I talked to my mom on the phone. I told her it was okay for her to go. I couldn't leave because of the accident. My sister said tears came out of her eyes, and she passed.

She married him how long did it last.she couldnt wait 2 leave him .thought she could get better than the king of rock and didnt.but has clung on 2 his name like a life raft.she married but seems she stuck 2 the presley name.and wont leave it alone and is fighting her g/children for control over the presley estate.because lisa left here out of the will.she got a lot money from elvis but still wants more.and wants 2 control the g/children.

OK let try and make you guys understand something about that. Between 1917 and 1941 people where broke. Most farmed to get by (California) my Grand Father married my Grandmother when she was 14 he was 23 now this is where it gets inky. Country folk worked and there was a bunch what my Granny and Grandpa called (Foolin Around) lol God I miss, any how most families has between 6 and 25 children YES 25!! F*******************CK! so not much to do no TV most could not read so........yep that's what they did. So Imagine a nice young man comes by to ask about work. He met my Granny, and well her mom & Dad said hay we will put you to work and you can live in the bunk house, but...we want you to take our Daughter Gene? Now most men knew about this and were good with.

There are discrepancies in what she said about telling Lisa her Dad was resting....Lisa Marie was staying at Graceland the night Elvis died, also the first person she rang was Linda Thompson and said " Linda my daddy is dead."... Linda has told this story many times....so how did Priscilla tell her, she wasn't there....Priscilla has a short memory and twists things to suit her version, I've never believed anything about her life with Elvis...stuff added and taken away imo...😢😢😢

She does have a son you know, he distances himself from her for a good reason.
Her son was brought up on Elvis's money, he is on Instagram and after Lisa passed he was on there telling everyone they didn't get on at the same time calling her his "sister"....up until 2016, Priscilla was paying herself 9.million dollars a year salary since God knows when, out of Elvis Presley Enterprises..Lisa Marie did not know until accountants told her that her fortune was dwindling away, and she had it all looked into, and found her husband at the time and father of the twins had been helping himself too....Lisa fell out with her mother for a few years and only got together for the making of the film Elvis...I could go on and tell you about what a bad mother she was to Lisa, but that's another story !!

Also, I think Riley said she knew that it was out of Priscilla’s love for Graceland. Riley seems like a remarkable young woman and I know her mom would be so amazingly proud of her. It just really sucks that when someone dies and money’s involved things usually get ugly if nothing is in writing.

Not true, MM said he started getting into the drugs hot and heavy in 71’ , and Dr Nick came on the scene then too ! Priscilla said the drug use was taking him down, and her and Lisa with it. She had to get out of it, and knew that he would never give the drugs up. He took himself into decline, and many people around him said the same thing !

To me, both Lisa Marie and Anna Nicole were facing another 30 plus years without their first born sons. They were simply in too much pain to go on. Marie Osmond is okay, people are different. Somehow, someway, this was how it was going to be. If they could have chosen death, each would have. I believe.
