Question - is there a stability reason for not using one piece of wood? I get that having a mix of rose and walnut makes a more impressive wand, but is it structurally sounder than doing it in one piece?
Thats the best choices of wood for wands but I would prefer making the wand out of same stick, I think gluing different parts ruin its naturality and woods should have naturality in them
I’m too afraid to woodturn but I love watching videos of people who make wands like this. It calms me for some reason
Awesome work
Looks like I will be ordering a chuck for my lathe..... Thanks for a very good tutorial
Glad you liked it 🤩 A chuck will open up all kind of possibilities for sure 👍
Great looking wand! Thank you for sharing.
That is one of the most beautiful wands I have ever seen. Great job.
Thank you! 🤩🙌

Looks great but it bugs me that you didn't line up the grain after the disaster😅
Funny you noticed, it bugged me a lot too! but only after, when I saw it 😆
