Looking good! 👊
Thanks 👍
Looks good.. Im probably gonna do the same thing for our kitchen and both baths and some custom trim.. The only difference is im gonna cheat and use my cnc.. Lol keep it up brother... Can't wait to see it finished..
That sounds good Dan. I'd like to see that CNC version, you should make a video for us. Thanks!
Hope you are going to sell it as soon as you have finished that renovation. I reckon the markets gonna crash big time in the next year.
That's always the big question. We have sold 4 houses over the past few years that are now worth over $100k more (each) than we sold them for. Oooops... should have held onto them. A lot depends on the market. Here in Florida, I don't think we will get a big dip in prices (even in a recession) that will last more than 5 years. Even if prices do drop considerably, rents will likely go higher. If folks can't buy houses, they are going to rent. So we figure to hold onto it for another 10 years or so.
I know you're going to seal it, but I would worry about water damage, especially for a rental
Hello Louis, We are definitely going to put a good seal on it. It should be fine. In full disclosure, this is actually going in another house we are working on.
BTW: We have many projects in the works right now including 4 more houses that renters are moving out of between now and August. In addition to that we are also in the middle of relocating our retail store. I have never discussed that aspect on YT before but I may take you along on that journey. From signing a lease to store design to permitting to setup and move in, its something most people will never experience for themselves. I think you might find it interesting...
@@HomesteadEngineering I would find that interesting 👍
