I saw your Jag V6 video 2 years ago. I must have watched it dozens of times. I felt your joy with every snap, crackle and pop. So, I bought one. A muted F Type V8 and no V6... oh dear!
Yes, a QUIET car, while still stylish aggressive fun and dynamic, is indeed music to the ears. So this one can stay on the shopping option list. Signed An introvert.
On the weekend after high school graduation in t1969, I saw a BRG E Type Jaguar roadster parked in the infield at Bridgehampton on Long Island New York during a Trans Am race weekend. 53 years later after a career as an oil and gas geoscientist, I've finally managed a 2022 Jaguar F Type R P575 convertible, also in British Racing Green. It will be transported in from Santa Monica where I bought it and will make the perfect addition to my garage. I am thrilled to finally have a car that I dreamed about as a boy. Hurrah !
Exterior styling-wise they've nailed it with this facelift to my eyes. In fact it's the only good looking current Jaguar on sale. Sounds good as well by 2020 standards. I rather like this. Two or three years down the road, when the first owner has had all the problems fixed, whilst paying the bulk of the depreciation for the privilege, it would be well worth a look. Nice review Pete 👍
I've had 3 Ftypes over last 6 years. Only issues were Oxygen sensors on Catalyst convertor SVR arising from not using the car enough. Once 2.0L came out i think this devalued their premium car. I like new front but don't know why they didn't do more on back. I think a new SVR is coming.
I saw one same spec last week at my local Petrol station ! It took off on the motorway leaving the petrol station and the noise was epic !!! Great looking ride and love that BRG with black out look👍🏻👏🏻💯😎🇨🇦
I’m not convinced by the front end yet...maybe it’s a bit more mature just like the toned down exhaust! I think the interior still looks great as it has a certain style and quirkiness of it’s own, and the media system has Apple CarPlay etc...so is still looking and functioning as well as most. You should revisit the 2.0L, as it actually sounds quite good in it’s own way and is plenty fast enough for UK roads! You can review mine if you like???👍🏻
One car you need to try if you loved the V6 is the 400 Sport. It does everything the V6S does but better. I have also driven most F’s and it’s the best all round F out there for me.
Not too dissimilar to the latest Vantage from the front and the rear flared arches. Unlike the Aston the F Type tries to appeal to a broader spread of buyers giving more of us a chance of ownership. Losing the V6 is a shame, most of its competitors will be powdered by 6 cylinder engines. This V8 doesn't sound like a V8 should, its a little bit plastic as though the sound engineers have tried too hard to make it sound better but come up against the brick wall of NVH rules.
Looking at replacing my BMW M4 convertible after previously owning an SLK55. I miss the V8 sound track from the SLK and the BMW is all about pops and bangs but quite jerky with the twin turbo! Was considering the V6 400 Jag but really like the modern look of the new model. Always went for the hardtop convertibles but may have to revert back to a soft top!! Only other option would have been an SL Mercedes. I suspect i will go for the P450 convertible, more modern take, V8 soundtrack and reasonable MPG. Thanks, this has been a very useful Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the old F Type (although I’ve not driven one yet) it’s one carI would consider when I change mine. For me, I loved the drama of the sound of the car, so perhaps the outgoing model might be a good buy.
That’s a really great video ped . I daily a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R twin screw 500 hp. Yes 500. Today I drove the 2021 Jaguar F-Type dynamic P450 . And you are spot on in your descriptions. Certainly lacking in sound though what sounded it had was gorgeous. Styling super impressive agility super impressive breaking super impressive. Colour beautiful GP blue. One day old. An absolute honour to have driven it. I noticed a little bit more talk than my STR . But not a lot more. Certainly a bit of transmission and handling and breaking. . but it didn’t make the STR feel slow just less safe . Now I have driven a 515 hp XKR and an FType S 5.0 I think both of these had more torque then the P450. I think it’s amazing that I can even still compare the power of my 2003 Jaguar super sedan to this 2021 super GT. I will say this though that P450 Is the nicest car I have ever driven. Absolutely stunning.
Great review Pete. As a previous owner of a 535ps V8 the new exhaust is fine for me. The old V8 used to wake up with a start "flare" that made me hated in my street when going off to work at 6 am. The new front styling is bang on trend as you say looks very much like a I-Pace theme (no bad thing). Looking forward to your review of the P575 model - you WILL need the AWD in that !
Peter, I think you would change your opinion on the F type if you drove it from your home to Gissy. Having a loan 4 pot for two days I rang up and asked them to collect it again after one day. I had hoped it would have come close to a much loved nearly final edition XK which I had for around two and a half years. A replacement for the XK it certainly is not being noisy, jarring suspension and hard seats proved a no go for me. To put it into perspective I drove my XK from GISSY to Holyhead, ferry crossing to ROI and then north to my home in Norn Iron. Arriving home I felt I could have made the return journey the next day as the XK was a joy to own. I know the F type is targeting a different age group but if any of your younger subs is thinking of getting one I would suggest getting a pair of ear defenders as well.
I always also lusted after an F-Type. Drove one loved it. Then drove a Porsche 911, so for the same money you get a 991.1 targa, more practical, better fuel consumption average 31 mpg (beans - 24mpg, long run 37mpg) depreciation almost zero now. The build quality is in a different league and it sounds might fine with a normally aspirated engine. Great video again Pete!
Great vid Mr P - I'm afraid it's the sign of the times especially when noise capable speed cameras come a long - I'd love to have a F-Type V6 coupe it sounded great and had enough power on uk roads and that's the trouble with mega BHP cars i.e 2 seconds on the throttle and kiss goodbye to your license , much rather have a car that's fun to drive in everyday reality, oh well it's only a pipe dream for me in any case but nice to see a good honest viewpoint so well done from me :-)
I love my V6 400 Sport. Sounds immense! I saw a new coupe at my local dealer today and I'm still underwhelmed by the new design. It's no longer curvy & gorgeous. It's just... well... meh. Skinny headlights are so generic these days. The lines over the bonnet have gone. Front air intakes are too fussy. Rear end has too many angles, and no curve appeal. IMHO.
If have a 2015 V6 S and I love the look much more than this car. Head-on the redesign looks like an Audi or even a Mustang, the only thing I like is that they removed the crossbar on the grill.
Great review. Peter, I think that it’s about time you put an F-Type on the Ped fleet. The Tesla won’t be along for ages so there is a free space in the barn. If not an actual purchase can’t you wangle a long term car from Jaguar. I love the colour and spec of this particular car.
I’ve had the V6 380, 400 AWD Sport and V8 SVR. To me SVR 4WD was by far the best and was not a handful in any way. It didn’t wheel spin and was stable under acceleration and was far better than my present AM DB11. Like the new front end but very disappointed that the back hasn’t been changed more than just the lights. After 2 years with the spoiler I hated it so glad they’ve deleted it. Inside doesn’t appear changed other than infotainment which is disappointing. In my SVR I averaged over 30mpg on some medium driving conditions days on a long trip to Portugal which was very surprising. The biggest downside to me is the design hasn’t changed enough for me to buy another and they could have done so much more to upgrade the interior quality . For anyone buying one go for a low mileage 1 year old SVR and save the massive depreciation on a new one.
I think that you will find that JLR has discontinued production of V6's and has a new straight 6 coming into production and I am sure that it will soon feature in the F Type
The only platform for the 5.0 litre supercharged V8 is the AWD. And I like the smoother look of the front end. Agree, rear of the year can only go backwards if they mess with that.
The new design is great especially the front end but because of the OPF filter then it doesn't sound like a V8 should do 😭. Can't beat British Racing Green as a colour though 👌
A comprehensive well detailed review Pete, it is utterly unbelievable that Jaguar jettisoned the V6 and kept the four pot and the V8, I will still consider the old V6. I live in London and fuelling a V8 for stop start traffic is a waste of resources!
I traded my V6 for a V8. The 6 is just too slow. The 8 is a riot, especially with a 700HP tune. The RWD V8s are also lighter than the latest V6, with half the drivetrain loss of AWD, so its got around 25% more WHP/weight than the SVR.
@@Deathstaroya Two issues. First it goes through catalytic converters faster. The stock car eats them for breakfast, too. I think the June 2016 software reduced the ferocity to help, you might still have a loud car. Second, it ripped my engine mounts apart. They are only $200 per side and it was track burnouts while holding the brake with R888R 315s that did it. AWD can skip the burnout, but you’ll need better than the OEM PZeros or you’ll light up all 4. That’s another issue with my RWD, actually, lighting up the rears at high speed, especially when turning, but all the time in any gear less than 6th. I blew two rear Michelin 4S 305 tires together by ripping the cores out at the bead. Cup 2s are a lot stronger, but traction was only 20% better, and less consistent between sides. Only R888Rs are workable. Your AWD might get away with 4Ss.
Got my 2021 P300 F Type late November in Canada ;) Also, you can still get the V6 in the Canadian market, but you're forced to get the AWD package putting the car's price into the base 911 territory.
Just to add- I went and bought a P450 AWD. Highly recommended. It would be unfair to say that it’s better or worse than the previous model. I absolutely love the V6 S and wouldn’t have minded if they hadn’t changed anything. Things do move on and after a week of new ownership I am very happy. Maybe I should have both on the drive?
Well...I think it sounds like a very good car indeed! I like that it is not angry, hard, sharp...most of which you suffer rather than enjoy..a softer approach is faster as the abilities are far more accessible more of the time. My Mercedes SL is always described as soft and only good as a grand tourer...but it is able to impress far more in a quiet understated way....angry aggressive is a popular choice but reality is usability. I’m sure I would like one...but it is getting old inside...it is looking like a car you buy at 12 months old for £40,000 and that is when it works best. Thank you Peter..another good review!! Stay safe...get a 5.0l convertible when you are 60!!! 😀😀😀😀😀Richard.
I have test drove this model too and its still a top notch car but the sound is not the same. Its interesting to note that my Jag dealer are still trying to make me part with my v6 s convertable and offering me very good money but I feel its only going to gain value as I still think its the best all round ftype of them all and people who know their jags know it
Great video great car and I agree why isn't there a V6 engine in the range the P300 was the beat selling Ftype but u cant beat the sound of the V6 ,V8 carry on with the great videos
Oh yes. You really can't beat a Jag. When I was a kid my sister's boyfriend had BRG Mk2 with wire wheels. He did a total rebuild and it was beautiful. He sold it to an American friend and it still lives in the US today. You're a lucky man :) If we have yet another lockdown are you going to do more Carvid 19 vids? They kept many of us going!
Guess they're saving the big v8 noise for the SVR. Were it not for a lack of luggage space, this junior V8 might be a good GT. I'd still go for the 4l caynan/boxter GTS for their better practicality, drive and resale values.
The F type is a great car and the P450 is certainly a solid package offering more than adequate performance. I really liked the old V6 engine. I felt it had enough power at 380bhp, a great sound track, and the twin centre exhaust looked brutal and less fussy than the four pipe rear of the V8s.
Beautiful car inside and out, I agree re the 2ltr, cheaper all round and if you want more power you can get a remap. Maybe a car I'll look at in the future.
Not sure if I like the new headlights more than the old ones. Completely different car. More aggressive. Need to see it in real life but looking at it on the road will be the closest I'll ever get to it I suppose. Cheers
I have a XK, which suits the V8 and is a great grand tourer. I’m tempted by this facelift F Type for fast commuting between UK and Luxembourg. As a grand tourer it appears the right spec will help, as does the less tiring soundtrack. It’s difficult to find a true grand tourer in the style of the XK (which I shall keep) at this price point. I’m not a fan of Porsche’s, BMW, Mercedes or Audi, I’d love to support Lotus again with an Evora but I just don’t see it as a grand tourer for stress free comfortable long distance Euro driving.
Living in the US, where EVERY Mustang, Camaro, Charger, pickup truck, etc. seems to have a V8 and a '"Look at me! I have a small wenis!" aftermarket exhaust system means this Jaguar is much appreciated.
In the UK you can get the 2020 P340/P380 V6 Chequered Flag F-Type. Dk if there gonna continue the Chequered Flag variants. Example: www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202009254185125?onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&postcode=ky76tz&transmission=Automatic&aggregatedTrim=Chequered%20Flag&maximum-badge-engine-size=3.0&make=JAGUAR&radius=1500&minimum-badge-engine-size=3.0&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=relevance&model=F-TYPE&include-delivery-option=on&page=1
Nice video Pete, Personally if I specce'd one I would have the green on tan look. Gutted the V6 isn't on sale, it was screamer! Victim of its success, the Europea regulations on noise polution killing it off as a compelling and my preferred version offering.
The main issue with F type is the price SVR has a RRP of about £120k and that 450 variant £85k which is just mental. There is a 450 car “20” plate car with 100 miles on it for £59995 on autotrader that’s a £25k drop within a couple months of it being registered new WOW !!
The V6 and V8 blocks are exactly the same. They just take two pistons and con rods out, blank off the two rear cylinders, sleeve it to 2999cc and voila! Crank is the same length with a counter balance weight to replace the removed components. Penny pinching at its best. There is virtually no weight saving. You are carrying around a load of engine metal that does absolutely nothing! They stopped the really noisy exhaust with the pops and bangs because it used to destroy the cats within 10,000 miles if used all the time. And that’s a £1200 bill per cat!
Nice video, Pete. I rather like the rear end (how cool would it be to have the logo/lettering mirrored so it would look the right way round when the wing popped and you looked in the rear view?). It sounds great, considering the hoops they have to jump through these days (a bit more "pop and crackle" would be nice). Obviously drives/handles great. I agree about the interior, "timeless Jag" apart from the tech - graft a Mercedes infotainment/dash to it? (Can't believe infotainment is a proper word now!).
Good content, in the past had trouble with Turbos locking up, partly by where manufactures mount them next to engine (as opposed to risers up high ...not to show off to keep them cooler next to Heat extractor hoods, or Boot), which defeats the purpose of the intercooler. Also, wouldn't buy a Jaguar without the reliable V8 5.0, and the V6 has actually been the 5.0 V8 with 6 cylinder heads and the last too camed pistons are stationary hidden under the windscreen, Thanks for sharing F-Type SVR is also my favorite and most like would be the one would buy. Was close to buying one and found out they 're only automatic.. miss the 6 speed manual transmission. The only reason have the PDK not because a Valet at the Hotel Burned for 10 minutes my Tires, Clutch, and Engine trying to get my Lotus Elise up the Parking Lot Ramp... the engine alone was $16,000, and so didn't repair it, and wound buying the 2016 Mustang.
I do quite like the F, but this is not a great job in my eyes! They had to extend the front to meet safety regs, so that’s why the front overhang is now so long. Otherwise, the changes are minimal, as the car is basically so old and it’s not worth spending much money on, given the low volume of sales 🙁
Tata struggle today in the current market for quality tech but they have done a great job cleaning this car up, the underlying architecture in jaguar is old, very old, but it's worth a buy just for the looks. Compared to the current aston, it's better looking looking car and better value.
I expect the new curved screen Pivi pro infotainment system which has been installed on the new F Pace Peter is a quantum leap forward from the old system
@@PetrolPed I've had experience of it Peter with the Jaguar Advisory board and its a game changer. I think its been developed with the help of Cambridge University
I've got an Ftype V6s convertible and Ive had it now for 3 years. I still love driving it and I still always take the long way home. I'm in the market for something else now so Ive been looking at Bentley, Aston and even Ferrari, but you have made me think that maybe another FType might be the way to go. Perhaps a test drive is in order.
Used to be rather pessimistic about the new face of F-Type, but the more I see the pictures the more it grows on me. Not quite as jaw-dropping as the original F-Type, but still a damn good-looking one. I really want the F-Type R Black Pack in Sorrento Yellow or Sunset Gold.
I have the 2.0 ftype, is the v8 the same sound. If so I'm getting the P575 r. When i saw the car i fell in love. If I never have to drive a car other than the ftype i will be happy
Test drove a 20 plate F type P450 V8 supercharged that you drove on the video The car itself was brilliant and lived the looks However the dealer who I went to who I won’t name was so absolutely useless that they put me off Also the depreciation is horrendous looking at 3 years old. Ended up buying a 3 year old Porsche 991.2 GTS PDK.
The V6 was the same engine as the V8 with two cylinders blanked off. Almost the same weight, very few advantages to it. It was cheaper for Jaguar to simply build one engine for all cars - the V8 and detune it for the P450. Can’t believe they’ve gone full electric - tell me you don’t understand your customers without telling me you dont understand your customers. 🤷♂️
Definitely a slight improvement in the looks to an already fantastic looking car. British Racing Green? More like a shade of green they are calling it that.
Another brilliant, informative and interesting video. Your channel is growing so well, and it is obvious why. Well done mate. I am really torn in respect of buying the V6 or the V6S. The S would be £4K'ish more. Which one would you go for Pete? Errol
I saw your Jag V6 video 2 years ago. I must have watched it dozens of times. I felt your joy with every snap, crackle and pop. So, I bought one. A muted F Type V8 and no V6... oh dear!
Wow that is great to hear 👍

Disagree. This doesn't look like an exotic sports car. It looks normal now.
I like the new updated body but definitely still love my 2018 F Type R AWD and the beautiful sound it makes when pushed through the exhaust pipes.
Wow, not seen that colour before. Lovely.
I know he says it’s BRG, but it’s so dark.
Who would have thought Jaguar would announce their suicide in advance by going all electric. It’ll be sad when they disappear.
Full electric isn’t popular enough yet. Jag have moved too soon
Nice review, I like quiet exhaust at less than 3000rpm for local driving. Loud only for higher rpm.
@ 9:30. Not really. Dynamic Mode automatically engages the Dynamic Exhaust.

9:20 - 13:10 : the exhaust sound talk. Introverts, we can bypass that.
Not just introverts to be honest. Think it's now a much classier car, and a V8 to boot.

The only platform for the 5.0 litre supercharged V8 is the AWD. And I like the smoother look of the front end. Agree, rear of the year can only go backwards if they mess with that.
You can spec RWD 👍
Like the car - styling still spot on. Like the review too, Watched it right through - as usual.
Thanks Eric 👍
I think the back looks great.
The new design is great especially the front end but because of the OPF filter then it doesn't sound like a V8 should do 😭. Can't beat British Racing Green as a colour though 👌
Yep 👍
A comprehensive well detailed review Pete, it is utterly unbelievable that Jaguar jettisoned the V6 and kept the four pot and the V8, I will still consider the old V6. I live in London and fuelling a V8 for stop start traffic is a waste of resources!
Bought a new RWD P450 to replace my V6S. The love affair just gets better. especially when she's the only one in NZ!
I traded my V6 for a V8. The 6 is just too slow. The 8 is a riot, especially with a 700HP tune. The RWD V8s are also lighter than the latest V6, with half the drivetrain loss of AWD, so its got around 25% more WHP/weight than the SVR.
i have a 16 R AWD - have youb had any issue with tune? gear box etc? thanks

Two issues.
Great review and just tuned into Goodwood at the right time as a few seconds after turning it on you was driving the Jannarelly
No way 👏👏👏
Well...I think it sounds like a very good car indeed!
The RWD V8 is lighter than the AWD V6.
No surprise as the V6 still uses a V8 block with V6 heads
I have test drove this model too and its still a top notch car but the sound is not the same. Its interesting to note that my Jag dealer are still trying to make me part with my v6 s convertable and offering me very good money but I feel its only going to gain value as I still think its the best all round ftype of them all and people who know their jags know it
Even though the new shape have been around for a year now they still have stock of the v6 cars just need to shop about.
Great video great car and I agree why isn't there a V6 engine in the range the P300 was the beat selling Ftype but u cant beat the sound of the V6 ,V8 carry on with the great videos
Cheers Chris 👍
Let’s hope I don’t need to 😬
Another quality review, a benchmark to others.
Thanks Martin. Very kind 👍
Guess they're saving the big v8 noise for the SVR. Were it not for a lack of luggage space, this junior V8 might be a good GT. I'd still go for the 4l caynan/boxter GTS for their better practicality, drive and resale values.
Great review Pete
This is the car I was telling about mate ,my mrs is getting one when she changes her car next. Can’t wait 👍👍👍👍👍
The F type is a great car and the P450 is certainly a solid package offering more than adequate performance. I really liked the old V6 engine. I felt it had enough power at 380bhp, a great sound track, and the twin centre exhaust looked brutal and less fussy than the four pipe rear of the V8s.
👍
Beautiful car inside and out, I agree re the 2ltr, cheaper all round and if you want more power you can get a remap. Maybe a car I'll look at in the future.
👍
Not sure if I like the new headlights more than the old ones. Completely different car. More aggressive. Need to see it in real life but looking at it on the road will be the closest I'll ever get to it I suppose. Cheers
It’s still very F-Type in person. The design flows together beautifully.
It looks weaker and less sporty now.
It reckon it would be a good choice for that. You should give one a try 👍
Brilliant as ever Pete!
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Another enjoyable Video Review. I like the updated Model as It looks even better particularly the New Look Front End LED Lights
Living in the US, where EVERY Mustang, Camaro, Charger, pickup truck, etc. seems to have a V8 and a '"Look at me! I have a small wenis!" aftermarket exhaust system means this Jaguar is much appreciated.
There is a V6 available here in Canada? The P380 variant. Supercharged 380HP V6.
Really ?! I didn’t know that 🤷♂️
@@PetrolPed We don't get the 450HP V8 model though in this market.
In the UK you can get the 2020 P340/P380 V6 Chequered Flag F-Type. Dk if there gonna continue the Chequered Flag variants.
Example:
www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202009254185125?onesearchad=New&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=Used&postcode=ky76tz&transmission=Automatic&aggregatedTrim=Chequered%20Flag&maximum-badge-engine-size=3.0&make=JAGUAR&radius=1500&minimum-badge-engine-size=3.0&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=relevance&model=F-TYPE&include-delivery-option=on&page=1
Nice video Pete, Personally if I specce'd one I would have the green on tan look. Gutted the V6 isn't on sale, it was screamer! Victim of its success, the Europea regulations on noise polution killing it off as a compelling and my preferred version offering.
Loved the F-Type on very First Arrival it’s such beautiful silhouette 💙 sound well (it can be tweaked 😂) ok
Great review Peter 😎
Cheers mate 👍
The main issue with F type is the price SVR has a RRP of about £120k and that 450 variant £85k which is just mental. There is a 450 car “20” plate car with 100 miles on it for £59995 on autotrader that’s a £25k drop within a couple months of it being registered new WOW !!
That’s why I don’t buy new 😬
The V6 and V8 blocks are exactly the same.
This is definitely an interesting choice
Brilliant. I've just bought one.
Love that idea 👍
Did the steering change a lot when they swapped from hydraulic to EPS a few years ago?
I’d need to drive them back to back to answer that 👍
Good content, in the past had trouble with Turbos locking up, partly by where manufactures mount them next to engine (as opposed to risers up high ...not to show off to keep them cooler next to Heat extractor hoods, or Boot), which defeats the purpose of the intercooler.
Sh h
Tata struggle today in the current market for quality tech but they have done a great job cleaning this car up, the underlying architecture in jaguar is old, very old, but it's worth a buy just for the looks. Compared to the current aston, it's better looking looking car and better value.
The f type is awesome! ❤️
I expect the new curved screen Pivi pro infotainment system which has been installed on the new F Pace Peter is a quantum leap forward from the old system
That sounds good 👍
@@PetrolPed I've had experience of it Peter with the Jaguar Advisory board and its a game changer. I think its been developed with the help of Cambridge University
I'm glad they didn't change the back end too much.
The front looks too much like a Mustang though 🤦♂️
Great video as usual
Cheers Joe 👍
I've got an Ftype V6s convertible and Ive had it now for 3 years. I still love driving it and I still always take the long way home. I'm in the market for something else now so Ive been looking at Bentley, Aston and even Ferrari, but you have made me think that maybe another FType might be the way to go. Perhaps a test drive is in order.
Sounds like a plan 👍
As J.C. once said , "if you want space buy a field "
Nice 👍
I have the 2.0 ftype, is the v8 the same sound. If so I'm getting the P575 r. When i saw the car i fell in love. If I never have to drive a car other than the ftype i will be happy
Test drove a 20 plate F type P450 V8 supercharged that you drove on the video
The car itself was brilliant and lived the looks However the dealer who I went to who I won’t name was so absolutely useless that they put me off
Also the depreciation is horrendous looking at 3 years old. Ended up buying a 3 year old Porsche 991.2 GTS PDK.
Also agree that it looks much better with the fixed spoiler
Great choice mate. Love a 911 👌
The V6 was the same engine as the V8 with two cylinders blanked off. Almost the same weight, very few advantages to it. It was cheaper for Jaguar to simply build one engine for all cars - the V8 and detune it for the P450.
Can’t believe they’ve gone full electric - tell me you don’t understand your customers without telling me you dont understand your customers. 🤷♂️
It's a shame the car has been out for 7 years and the dealerships are still using the wrong rear number plate....
Didn't sound too bad and i think they nailed the looks. 👍👍
2023 Sounds mighty fine to me.....no regrets
They are certainly working hard to make them look like Astons.
Hope fully the svr will only come in rwd like a proper performance jag should be
It’s a better and more useable car for being AWD 👍
@@PetrolPed but more fun and interesting as rwd
Definitely a slight improvement in the looks to an already fantastic looking car. British Racing Green? More like a shade of green they are calling it that.
Another brilliant, informative and interesting video. Your channel is growing so well, and it is obvious why. Well done mate. I am really torn in respect of buying the V6 or the V6S. The S would be £4K'ish more. Which one would you go for Pete? Errol
Thanks Mate. I’d go S if I could stretch the budget 👍
Hmmm, not the soundtrack I was hoping for either. Still have one though!
👍
Going to get the 2019 3.0L V6.
Nice review as always. Should I go for a second hand v6 or should I get a second hand p450?
Choices choices 🤔
What do you think of the convertible?
I’ve got a video of the previous gen convertible with a manual box coming to the channel soon 👍
One of the coolest looking and sounding sports car ever made 🙌
14:21 the V6 discussion. However, I rather enjoyed this V8 drive by 14:11.
True 🤔😂
