Finally been able to have a combination of free time and decent weather to start my build out. So happy to get started on this so we can start using it.
Intersting storage idea! We laid down the 1/2 wood printed foam tile flooring and that made a huge difference. Both softer to crawl on but quieter and warmer inside too. We got 2 of the Milliard folding mattresses. One twin one cot size so it basically goes wall to wall. Not sure if we’re happy about the split in the middle and the split between sections though. We may switch it out at some point. Our first big trip is still a few months away. For storage we just got trunk Cargo organizers so we can carry them in the house, Pack then take them back out. Then there are totes on the shelf for stuff that will live there. Oh, I found some rechargeable led puck lights I’m running and may add some strip lights too. Need to get the awning installed soon, and getting the screen room for it too! Our toilet will go out there. Got a Trasharoo type bag and it’s big enough to store our 5 gallon Dometic toilet so it doesn’t have to come inside at all!
Hey Chad, thanks for the comments. I also have the foam tiles you mentioned, and those will be going in front. They are 3/8" and I am going to double stack them to match the 3/4" plywood thickness. We have a popup canopy for now but will probably end up with a 270 awning. I like the trasharoo idea to hold the portable toilet. Harvest Hoste does not allow external popups of any kind, and you have to be 100% self-sufficient, so that is the reasoning of the internal facilities

On the outside, we put moonroof wind visors over the windows so we could open them in the rain. It helps to keep condensation out also.
