- Cody is the lead singer and guitarist of Whiskey Myers. The band’s roots stretch back decades into the red dirt of East Texas, where Cannon, Jeffers and Tate first began playing together. The band earned their first no. 1 on the Texas Music Charts with the 2011 follow-up Firewater. Their music has changed over time but hasn't dialed down their Southern Rock rowdiness.
I love this! A friend of mine loved Whiskey Myers so a group of us went in a party bus, I went because y’all were playing with Jamie Johnson. Little did I know I was gonna fall in love! Great band, great energy, great music! So freaking fun to watch! Absolutely love Cody Cannon and his harmonica!

Been a fan for a long time now, Cody is the reason I picked up a 6 string. Meeting him is definitely on the bucket list
Last night, Corpus Christi, they covered Tom Petty Refugee. Been to hundreds of concerts starting in the 70s. This was one of the best shows I've ever attended.
I saw them last night and I had the best time of my life they were at the Alabama theater in Birmingham Alabama

Saw WM in NYC a couple years ago. So great they played in the middle of the city. Placed as packed with fans. Energy was amazing, one of the best shows I've seen.

Great musicians,great people! Seen them in Port Neches Texas. Great Entergy. They included the whole crowd to there show. I love these guys... keep rocking I saw you through a broken window with a different point of view.

I was on a construction site a couple years ago when I heard ballad of a southern man, looked up the lyrics found the song then I found the band
What a great interview. This is my first experience with your channel and I must say,, great job on the interview. You could tell you were a fan and I think those make the best interviews. Cody seems like a cool, genuine guy. My personal favorite frontman is Vince Neil.
Saw them twice in southern Indiana they are Awesome steel woods are too they opened for them when they kicked off this years tour then covid hit but these guys are rock and roll rumor has it they are named after a Mexican fightin chicken .

If you mention zz top to compare this band.......you need to shave and continue to be the yankee city boy that you are. This band is an influence of allman brothers, marshall tucker, and older type country music. Grow up. It's very clear you're not from the south.
