Just got my nectar mattress 2 days ago, I suffer from horrible shoulder pain and so far this has been the best mattress I've had so far for helping with my shoulder pain. I got it on discount for 500 and I'm genuinely shocked at how good it is. It's also the thickest mattress I've ever been on so that's a plus for me lol.
I just ordered this. I cannot wait ❤️tried it in store and it felt the best than all the beds there And when purchased in a store they can be returned for an exchange or refund within 365 days
Nectar’s support team is phenomenal, they assisted me with any all issues i had. I originally wanted to finance the mattress but realized that it would have been more expensive. They helped me reorder and hooked me up with a 100 dollar coupon on top of the promotion they currently had going on.
Mine will be here today! Just a heads up for those interested. I purchased Mine from Mattress Firm and they only offer a 4 month trial. Idk if the year trial only applies if you go through Nectar or if they'll honor it regardless of where you purchase. But 4 months seems long enough for me so I didn't try to fight them. Just be aware before you purchase =)
You made a graph to explain mattresses! You get a thumbs up! Also, sounds like we are going in the same direction as you, because i bought a T&N original (still in trial period) but may have to change it up. We're going to give a mattress topper a try. Turns out i need a big more softness. Ok, off to check out some of your other vids.
oh yeah I also heard this bed is softer than the current one they sell. I want to try the current one they make. My favorite beds of all time are actually hybrid beds like our Saatva, Bear, and Avocado. They seem to last longer and the Saatva is great!
Reading the reviews where people mentioned being charged for the "free" stuff when you return the bed....from what I've seen, it's because you've opened it and used it. If you don't open it, they have to take it back
I just bought a Nectar mattress and got a warning card in the materials saying don't take off the cover or you could experience serious injury, death or property damage. I'm guessing it's because there's fiberglass under the cover. I didn't know that before purchasing and now I still haven't taken the plastic off to unroll it... I'm awaiting a call back from Nectar. I'm worried the fiberglass would poke through the cover over time.
Hey Krista, yes I guess they have fiberglass now and warn people. Ours is older one before Resident bought them over. I feel like they should just use something that isn't potentially harmful. I now recommend hybrid beds that we have reviewed.
Me and my husband took the plunge and ordered a nectar a few days ago. We will be getting the sheets and a pillow for free too. The mattress was on sale for I think $800 (queen) plus getting freebies
Undecisive Angel yeah we love ours! It’s made in China but honestly it’s super nice and comfy and affordable. It’s hard to beat their trial period and warranty too.
Carson McCullar yes about 3 or so years ago they sent me one. Since then I have reviewed a lot of beds and I have bought about 3 beds myself to review. Every month I try a new bed out
I watched this review.....and purchased the Nectar Lush. My wife and I are fit and weight 150lbs each. We tried it out and purchased it at Mattress Firm. It feels like a wonderful cloud when you try it out....but we've awakened with horrible back pain every morning. We followed the suggestions from Nectar service to "walk on the mattress to soften it up". We've done that, daily.....and still wake up with back pain (mid spine). We were told by MF that we are "required" to keep the mattress for 21 days! We're on day 12, and we won't be sleep in this mattress anymore. To return it, we will be charged $100 "processing fee" plus a 10% "restocking fee". Sheesh.
That must be a new policy then since i have not heard of these new rules. Thank you for letting me know Tom. Let me know how it ends up. My friend had his mattress replaced by them after a few years. Maybe the new bed is harder?
@@AM2PMReviews Thank you for the video about your experiences. About the return policy, it's not hard to find horror stories about the reality of people trying to actually apply the policy. Surely there's a range of experiences but might be good to temper (not tempur) enthusiasm for seemingly generous policies with caution about checking fine print and more research. Thanks again, you guys are great presenters.
Overall super satisfied with the review, the authenticity from you both is definitely there. This was exactly was i was looking for in a review! Also your extremely active and friendly in your comment section which is so nice to see. I love to see an active youtuber. Dropped my sub not only because the video was great, but i think you guys deserve it! Hope many more see the way i do :)
Just got mine yesterday with the free pillows, sheets and mattress protector. Everything looks and seems like good quality. The pillows have a cool touch cover. Bed was comfortable with the sink in feel but not too soft at all. Only purchased the Nector because just recently bought the Casper from Costco but was too firm for my Wife and I even after about 4 weeks of sleeping on it. Only time will tell if we stay satisfied with the Nector. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
I bought the Nectar Copper Foam. I am waiting for it to arrive but I am afraid now because I hear the give you lots of pushback when it comes to return.
Had a Nectar for 2 years and it rutted out for both my partner and I. Not built for larger people. My back hurts really bad now sleeping on this mattress.
At 26 years old, being 6' 3" doing physical labor and riding motorcycles, let's just say my back is 100% F*CKED. Often having pain so bad I can't turn certain ways or even when bad enough, breath in all the way. My mom is getting me this for Christmas and I think I finally will see my sleep/health improve with it. My old mattress is an 8 year old failing pillow top, and I'm ready to stop waking up thinking "f*ck me. F*ck my back. F*ck this bed". Great review guys, thank you so much.
How is it so far? My husband is 6'6" and does physical labour and rides too, and his back is f*cked too. We are getting desperate and we replace mattresses about every two years because they all suck.
@@bellajaid it is definitely more firm than I had imagined, especially if you come from really soft mattresses. However, once you lay still it does a fantastic job of making your body feel weightless. The memory foam pillows are a bit firm, but I'm also adjusting. Overall its definitely helped. It takes roughly 60 days to properly break in the memory foam, and I'm only 20 days in. For what thats worth!
@@jordanjoestar8839 ya'll better return this doo doo mattress. I never have experience back pain like with this Nectar Mattress. After about a year it goes downhill, say goodbye to your back if you decide to keep it.
@@mj.8496 Well, you're the first and only person I've heard say that, these are rated for 6+ and many people have gotten that out of them issue free. Maybe you got a defective one.
is it comparable to TempurPedic ? I have a tempurAdapt Soft* debating switching to Nectar due to massive price difference but wouldn't want to be disappointed by quality difference. any advice ?
No probably not. I like a few more that we have reviewed but they cost more too. I have also heard that this 2018 version is softer somehow than the newer versions. I am not sure if that is true but currently we are loving our puffy bed and will review a puffy hybrid soon too. Saatva is another favorite of ours. It just depends i think on what you prefer. If you want a softer experience than this is a great bed.
FYI I just picked up a full on labor day sale. $699 and not only did it come with the 2 pillows free but also the cooling sheets and the mattress protector free!
Man I got this and have been having severe neck back and shoulder pain…. I thought maybe it’s work… no it’s the mattress, went back to visit my husband we live separate right now because of work and damn two nights back to our twmperpedic no more back pain.. not I’m back on mine and in so much pain and I’m a RN so I work 13-15 hour shifts… I didn’t wanna get a tenperpedic for a year of being away but dang I think I need to return . Never have I hurt so bad on a mattress..
Love the mattress. I got mine like 5 days after ordering. The pillows suck, the Casper ones from target are the bomb though, and still waiting on the mattress protector and sheets. Went ahead and bought nice sheets and a protector already because almost a month later and they haven’t shipped. But the mattress is the bomb.
I've had mine for over a month and I keep waiting for it to break in, but it just doesn't seem to. I'm 160 pounds and I prefer a more firm mattress, but I question that this thing is memory foam at all. I've had two memory foam mattresses in the past and really like them, but this doesn't have any "memory" to it whatsoever, it rebounds immediately even if you press down on it firmly for several seconds. I wake up every hour uncomfortable, even after having this mattress 5-6 weeks.
I’m 6’ 175lbs. I used to be a side sleeper. But a year or so ago I got a foam mattress from a local con artist. It was suppose to be a good expensive med mattress. But I got it home and opened it up and there’s no labels or anything on it. So I think it’s a super cheap mattress. I haven’t got a good night sleep since I got it. I have lots of back pain and joint/pressure pain. It’s been much worse since I got this mattress. I can’t sleep on my side for more then 30min now before I wake up in pain. Anyways I am looking for a better mattress without breaking the bank if that’s possible. Do you think I’d be better off with like a helix hybrid due to my pressure point and back pain at my weight? Or do you think this would be a good mattress? I’m just unsure about a all foam mattress because of my experience with my current bed.
@@AM2PMReviews I did not I'll check it out!!! Just received my original nectar and it was soooooo uncomfortable that first night now it's better Def better for back sleepers and I'm more of a side lol
We've been sleeping on ours for a couple years now and it's not at all the same as it was after a few months. I sink in so much my back kills me and I can hardly ever get comfortable. This is one of those mattresses where if you stay off of it for a day, then lay down and sleep stretched out, you'll feel good..but if you sit up and read before you go to bed, you'll sink in so much you'll never get comfortable. It took me 2 months to get used to it too, my ribs felt like a truck ran over me while I was asleep every night when we first got it. Two years later, it sinks much faster and deeper than before and my legs throb from the sciatic pain it's caused. I wish I would've tried Tuft and Needle instead but I have a purple hybrid 3 coming soon. Hopefully I don't miss this thing after our next bed arrives because I'm too young to suffer from back pain the way I am. Good riddens Nectar, I hope the next customer feels better about this thing than I do. Forgot to mention, the sinking is so bad I can't even sit on the side of the bed for 5 minutes without triggering back pain. It's awful. Might as well go with a Sealy for $500 if you're not sure.
I had exactly the same issues as you. I am feeling the pain in my ribs and pelvis as I read your comment. I agree it's an awful mattress. In the long run, I feel it will cause a lot of issues for those who are using this mattress The sinking in the middle is the most horrendous feeling ever. Felt like I was being swallowed up by the mattress. Returned and got full refund :) Hoping to try the Simba Hybrid now.....
I’m around 145 lbs and usually a side sleeper. I like that soft and comfortable feel but don’t like that quicksand feel. Is nectar good for me or a hybrid? Or what do you recommend? My mattress is too firm for me and I have a topper but don’t really like it
Yes i think it depends on tall you are too. It sounds like you need a softer bed. I personally love nectar but some people are saying the newer beds are firmer. Personally our favorite beds are hybrids beds but they are a little firmer. Have you seen my Saatva review? I love that bed.
Nectar mattresses use fiberglass as a flame retardant, which isn't great because the shards of fiberglass can fall out if the mattress cover is ever removed or they can work their way out over time.
I just want a comfy mattress I now on a sterns and Foster and it’s killing my lower back which is def not what I expected!! I’m like maybe a temperpedic? But I’m sick of spending all that $ if a nectar is just as comfortable!! Does it support your lower back??? That’s my #1 question if you see this? Thanks!!!
Hi Kristin, it really depends on your height and weight. I currently recommend Hybrid beds for more lower back support. This is still a comfy bed though. Have you seen our favorite bed video?
I bought a purple when they first came out. It didn’t last that long it’s completely fucking my back right now. Just ordered a nectar cal king. Hopefully it helps with my back and shoulder issues.
When I bought my Nectar mattress they said in included free pickup of the old mattress which is why I bought online. If I would have bought from a mattress store they would have taken the old one away. It turns out they lied. I called the site they said would take it away free and it turns out they will take the box or frame but not the actual mattress. Bad!
HI AJ, i have the older Nectar memory foam bed and i am currently on a Nolah Hybrid. I prefer the hybrids beds overall. I will post a review of the Nolah soon. Overall i think the Nolah is better but its like comparing apples and orange with the hybrid vs memory foam only. See my link on Nolah too here to compare prices (my memorial day link should work) bit.ly/NolahMemorialDayDeal
@@kamsolusar8529 oh wow I wondered why it wasn’t working let me ask them for a new code. Honey might have stolen it lol. Yes Nectar is pretty good! So is Saatva and Idle and Amore and Avocado but those are more expensive. I will let you know what they say about my coupon code and link. Does my link work at least?
Ive had a Nectar for a year and half and couldn't disagree more. It's my 3rd bed in a box, Cocoon, Layla and Nectar, they all have the same thing in common... cheap, low quality, non supportive foam. You get what you pay for.
my layla is very soft so it wouldn't last long but it is super soft for people who love it. I would recommend Saatva, Amore, Avocado, Puffy lux, for our favorite beds so far. They are about 500-1000 more but they will last longer.
Im still stuck between this and the purple mattress. Ima be moving soon so ima get a new bed and stuff. I think whats gonna sell me on the nectar tho is the forever warranty and also the considerably cheaper price tag. Purple has a 10 year warranty but that’s usually how long it takes for most mattresses to go bad. Forever warranty just sounds like nectar is extremely confident in their product.
Hey Luis! I want to compare the purple for you but we don't have one. We hope to buy one soon but they are expensive. I personally love the Nectar. I think the one year trial period is amazing too.
My wife and I are looking for a new mattress whe both are plus size lol anyhow do you think this mattress is good for ous she loves it but I need a second opinion please advice!?????
Hey Laguna. It is super nice but i don't know if it will last long since its just foam it will probably feel a little too soft after a year or two if you are both plus sized. I would look into a hybrid bed like the Amore, Saatva, Bear, Tuft and Needle. They have coils in them for more support. I hope you guys find the right bed!
@@AM2PMReviews thank you so much for the respond means a lot to us I will look into those beds thank you once again for the advice !!! Keep them positive vids coming God bless your hearts
Had mine for years and if you sleep in the same place on the mattress every night, not switching out with all your other mattresses, then it will get much softer in the place you sleep. It's not really that comfortable. It lost support of the area right below my ribcage. The warranty for the life of the mattress is a little weird and they want to see photos of what the problem is, such as a sunken part.
yes i bet they are more strict now about the warranty than when we first got this bed since they are bought by Resident now. its still comfy but we dont sleep on it every night. We are now on the Copper one they have.
Hi Linda. It looks good but it is already falling apart. Its a company called Legends Furniture. It looks like real wood but its mostly fake wood and its kind of expensive. I would probably try this one which looks similar but is cheaper. Like this one amzn.to/3CZNO9K or a metal frame that you cant see with a cool head board. frame: amzn.to/3mXExJK headboard: amzn.to/3ql2BIE or a cheap combo: amzn.to/3wvxkDM
Hi Johnathan, we got this a long time ago from Legends furniture. It was not built well but it looks cool. I found one similar on Amazon that is cheaper. amzn.to/3KUi504 This is my affiliate link just fyi since its way smaller for comments. This legends one was twice the price and is now falling apart but it is nice looking.
Like may of you out there, I did a bunch of research on foam mattresses. What drove me to go a bit further then many was chronic back issues. I quickly found out that Memory foam was invented by NASA in 1966...When NASA released memory foam to the public domain in the early 1980s, Fagerdala World Foams was one of the few companies willing to work with the foam, as the manufacturing process remained difficult and unreliable. Their 1991 product, the "Tempur-Pedic Swedish Mattress" eventually led to the mattress and cushion company, Tempur World....One thing Nectar has over their competitors is the advertising and marketing blitz. A couple of google & UA-cam searches and now they won't leave me alone...This tells me they have huge sums of money which means their mattress is overpriced.
Hi Corrina, since we started reviewing mattresses we started to get a lot of them... so we try to review a new one every month for people to see how we actually liked them. Its not typical but after we did one video, companies just wanted us to try their other beds as well.
Accident damage is probably not covered by the warranty. Warranty covers things like the mattress sagging too much. I would ask them more about the specifics.
Im looking at this mattress at the moment, I weigh around 14.5 stone 203lbs, and sleep on my stomach most of the time. Do you think it would be suitable for me ?
Hi Chris, I think you would do better with a hybrid bed. This is certainly comfy but it is not super firm for stomach sleepers. Have you seen my videos on Saatva and Puffy Hybrid and Idle? Those are killer hybrid beds.
@@AM2PMReviews Yeah, im also looking at the Deep Sleep Silk 1000 again which is a medium mattress that I currently have that is very worn down. but I loved it
My husband and I first wanted a temperputic until we seen how much they cost. We even went and tested one , absolutely loved it. We are now considering a nectar because it is definitely cheaper & has a forever warranty. My fear is that the nectar mattress may sag. Have you all had any trouble with it sagging at all?
we have not had much sagging but it will happen maybe around 5 years i hear on average. it just depends on how hot the room is and how big or small you are. I prefer hybrid beds for that reason now. have you seen our puffy lux or saatva reviews?
Be prepared to wait a long time. Nectar is so far behind on orders. Some people have been waiting weeks for their orders, when shipping on Nectar website was advertised as 1-2 day shipping and business as usual. It’s also been a headache to talk to customer support at this time. I personally placed an order on April 27th and have received nothing.
No. They are seriously behind and have been running a sale for at least a month. So, they are taking up to a month to fulfill orders, but they are out marketing to yet more people. It took my nectar mattress, bed and "free gifts" well over a month to arrive. In the meantime, their customer service is horrible when and if you can get a hold of them. They will give you a scripted response telling you they are 5-7 days behind, which is bull when it took me 36 days to receive my order. Dealing with Nectar has by far been the worst retail experience I have ever had. While I do love the mattress, I could never recommend them because of their shipping issues and poor customer service. It's exciting to finally purchase a bigger ticket item like a bed. They took every bit of that fun and excitement out of it. At one point, I found myself wondering if we would ever receive it.💁 Oh...and for anyone who may read this and is still interested in purchasing with Nectar, don't buy the bed they sell. All of the hardware was pre-inserted, which would have normally been great, but long story short, my husband had to fabricate our bed because certain screws that needed to back out a bit, were so tight that they were stripped and wouldn't. He had to place a bolt through the outside fabric to put it together. So yeah, he had to break the bed in order to get it together. If I were ever going to recommend Nectar, I would say only order the mattress and be prepared to wait for a month or longer. One last note...The free $100 sheet set is actually a $20 sheet set that you would find in a hotel or on a hospital bed. The $100 mattress cover is also cheap and ripped when we put it on and the pillows are just ok. None of the free gifts are anything special, so don't let that influence your decision.
@@sassynj1264 Took mine 36 days. Don't bother contacting customer service, it's just a waste of your time. They will just give you a BS line that they are 5-7 days behind in shipping and you'll get that same line every single time you contact them, even if it's been 3 weeks since you ordered. The same sale was going over a month ago when I ordered. They were having problems fulfilling orders when I ordered during the sale that was supposed to end 6 hours after I ordered, yet is still going today.💁 If you can't fulfill the orders timely, then stop running the sale!🤦 Bunch of damn clowns over there. The good news is that after 36 days, I finally received the mattress and bed I ordered and I do like the mattress. The free $100 sheets are actually $20 sheets you would find in a hotel. I know because I looked them up and be careful with the mattress cover. It's thick enough, but don't pull it over the mattress by the mesh part or it will rip. Pull it by the quilted part. Just trying to share what you can expect. Bring your patience and buckle in, your in for a long ride. Hey...at least the matress is decent, right?😂

I've been looking a lot at the nectar but nervous it might be too firm for me. Thank you for any guidance you can provide! :)
Hi Ashley, for both people it can be hard to buy for. Some people i know buy Amore beds which we have tried which you can customize each side. Have you seen those beds? Also, i would into the Bear Hybrid or Puffy Lux videos we did. We love those beds too!
@@yadiracarrillo6709 yeah, they aren't cheap. It was good initially, but over time, well, you know. It was just not holding up. We just went mattress shopping yesterday, but because of covid, we have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery on our new one. Going back to a coil spring mattress. If you are "light" person, or if you are getting it for a spare room or something, I think it would be a good mattress and last. We are getting older, and we are waking up sore with the nectar.

yea you can use nectar with a power base. its all memory foam. unless you bought a hybrid because those have coils. but can even use those with a power base!
hi Helen. I have not tried the new Nectars yet by Resident. I think they are about average as far as trapping heat for an all foam bed. I think it would work on a base that is reclinable but I am have not tried it.
U mention the zinus mattress' $300 price in that review. I didn't hear y'all mention the $1000 price of this mattress in this review. Y is that? Is this mattress 3x better than the zinus? If the zinus didn't have that tiny discoloration on its cover and if it didn't have those loose fibers (fiberglass/maybe something else?) in its cover, would you feel batter about it? Thx.
Yeah this has gone up in a price since we first got it. It was around 700 when we got it. This bed has better foam, better cover, no smell and it is comfier. Zinus has a lot of different beds so i would consider trying another one but the one we had i just sold it since I was not sure I would like it any longer. It would be fine for short term use I think or as a spare bedroom bed.
NICE! Don't forget to use the code and link below. it should save you money. FYI I just heard they are not allowing you to return their 400 of accessories that come with it. So that means, you might not get %100 of your money back if you return it. I was unaware of this until now.
it depends on your needs. If you like a medium feel, its pretty good but if you need more support, it might be too soft for you. If you are around 2.5lbs per inch you are about average. I am 75 inches tall and 195 so 195/75 is 2.6 so i am about average but if you are heavier you might want a hybrid bed.
HI Ioan. I think if you want a comfier bed for cheap then Nectar. Tuft and Needle has nicer beds for more money that I would pick now. Use our black friday links to save money!
@@WavyVaporizers oh well we did review both but the dream cloud was a nice hybrid but it was firm. The nectar is softer. I think long term the dream cloud is ideal especially if you like a firmer bed. Personally it's probably the same price as a lot of other beds that I prefer.
@@AM2PMReviews out of all the beds you reviewed which ones top 3? I was thinking about a nectar bed. I ended up buying a chime 12 inch hybrid from Ashley's today.
After watching/reading reviews and laying on one at a store, it's not what I expected. It's the softest I've ever laid on. Too soft. Even the base foam is soft. The one at the store was firmer than the one I took home. I wonder if there's bad quality control or something and one feels different from the next.
Last night was my first night on my nectar... its the first time in years i woke up still in the same position i fell asleep in and i didn't wake up to use the bathroom 2 times also... I'm pretty impressed with this mattress! Thx for the good review..
At about that weight i side sleep and belly sleep. It's okay, but I'm not a fan of the firmness. It does hold up well but doesn't breathe as much if you put any sort of mattress cover on it.
Does it make you feel hot because I’m a hot kind of person. I used too have a memory foam mattress from Ashley. It was a firm mattress, I really loved the firmness but it made feel hot.
If you are worried about that I would suggest you look at a hybrid bed that we have tried since they sleep cooler normally. Have you seen our Puffy, Nolah, or Saatva videos?
yes its odd, they are super comfy, they used to be cheaper, they didn't have fiberglass before being bought by Resident. So now there are a lot of changes to consider.

that is strange since my nectar is pretty soft. Maybe the new ones are different feeling? It shouldn't matter what is is on too much. How is the topoper? Do you feel like you are getting heat trapped in?
Hi Alfredo we are not lying. We are Nectar Affiliates. If you purchase a bed with one of our links, we do get a commission at no extra charge to you. I also get coupon codes from the company to save you money. We review a bed every month and keep coming back to our Nectar mattresses. It is a good option for those on a budget.
They are not bad but I don't recommend them. If you are larger, you will probably feel like it is too soft and it will ear your bed out faster and maybe you might not have the support on the edges needed. That is why i recommend hybrid beds to people who like and need more support.

Mean the bed was opened right?
The mattress was on sale for I think $800 (queen) plus getting freebies
well that is not a bad deal. i hope you guys enjoy it.
So one year later, hows the mattress ?
Perfect timing! I just got a nectar mattress (am a side and back sleeper) saw some bad reviews and was really worried, but you give me hope for it!
Undecisive Angel yeah we love ours! It’s made in China but honestly it’s super nice and comfy and affordable. It’s hard to beat their trial period and warranty too.
Did you receive your mattress?
Carson McCullar yes about 3 or so years ago they sent me one. Since then I have reviewed a lot of beds and I have bought about 3 beds myself to review. Every month I try a new bed out
AM2PM was asking the original commenter lol, ur video is literally about the mattress how thick do u think I am
Carson McCullar oh sorry. I get a lot of questions about mattresses and so I thought it was for me.
Purchased a Nectar mattress after watching your videos. I can't wait to try it out!! Thank you for your reviews!
You are so welcome! Show me the bed on IG if you want. I hope i saved you money
Great to hear David! Yes i think its not the perfect bed but it is a great option for those looking for an affordable bed.
How long did it take to get the actual mattress?

I bought the Nectar Copper Foam. I am waiting for it to arrive but I am afraid now because I hear the give you lots of pushback when it comes to return.
yes i keep hearing issues with the return policy the last few years.
Had a Nectar for 2 years and it rutted out for both my partner and I. Not built for larger people. My back hurts really bad now sleeping on this mattress.
yes you should use their warranty!
You are welcome Jordan. I hope you sleep better soon.

I have a tempurAdapt Soft* debating switching to Nectar due to massive price difference but wouldn't want to be disappointed by quality difference. any advice ?
i have not tried the tempurpedic but we love the feel of this and the newest video we just tried the nectar premier. have you seen that?
So would you guys say this is your all-time favorite mattress?
No probably not. I like a few more that we have reviewed but they cost more too. I have also heard that this 2018 version is softer somehow than the newer versions. I am not sure if that is true but currently we are loving our puffy bed and will review a puffy hybrid soon too. Saatva is another favorite of ours. It just depends i think on what you prefer. If you want a softer experience than this is a great bed.
This thing sleep super hot...WARNING
it looks very soft mattress. how's the firmness ?
its nice around 7 I would say but currently I am loving other beds like Saatva, Puffy, Avocado etc. Did you see those reviews?

Man I got this and have been having severe neck back and shoulder pain…. I thought maybe it’s work… no it’s the mattress, went back to visit my husband we live separate right now because of work and damn two nights back to our twmperpedic no more back pain.. not I’m back on mine and in so much pain and I’m a RN so I work 13-15 hour shifts… I didn’t wanna get a tenperpedic for a year of being away but dang I think I need to return . Never have I hurt so bad on a mattress..
ouch ouch. i hope you get great sleep sooon.
Love the mattress. I got mine like 5 days after ordering. The pillows suck, the Casper ones from target are the bomb though, and still waiting on the mattress protector and sheets. Went ahead and bought nice sheets and a protector already because almost a month later and they haven’t shipped. But the mattress is the bomb.
yeah i have not tried the accessories but love the bed itself.
I wake up every hour uncomfortable, even after having this mattress 5-6 weeks.
maybe try a hybrid bed? have you seen ours?
Hey great video, can the mattress cover be washed? You said it could but the instructions are saying otherwise. Thanks xx
Yes think this is the older model but the newer models I think you can't. I wouldn't recommend it. Just get a mattress protector.
You can't on new model cause of fiber glass

Hi Scott,
check out my current video on black friday deals. They are great beds with deals there.
Is this the original nectar or the nectar premier?
this is the old school original. we just reviewed the premier copper though. have you seen that?
It's awful. Might as well go with a Sealy for $500 if you're not sure.
ours is so nice. We don't sleep on it every-night because we review a lot of beds. It is one of the few we both really like though.
I had exactly the same issues as you. I am feeling the pain in my ribs and pelvis as I read your comment.
I agree it's an awful mattress. In the long run, I feel it will cause a lot of issues for those who are using this mattress
The sinking in the middle is the most horrendous feeling ever. Felt like I was being swallowed up by the mattress. Returned and got full refund :)
Hoping to try the Simba Hybrid now.....
The website says its a 3 year warranty not a forever warranty. We just ordered one.
oh really? Maybe they changed it? I will look it up.
Nectar mattresses use fiberglass as a flame retardant, which isn't great because the shards of fiberglass can fall out if the mattress cover is ever removed or they can work their way out over time.
yes i recommend just using a protector over that just in case. i prefer beds without fiberglass.
@@AM2PMReviews ok yes I like a hybrid for a little bounce , but I’m like 150. 5’6”. I’ll check out that video for sure!! Thanks!

When I bought my Nectar mattress they said in included free pickup of the old mattress which is why I bought online. If I would have bought from a mattress store they would have taken the old one away. It turns out they lied.
@@AM2PMReviews thanks for the tips. My experience with boxed beds hasn't been good overall. Might have to try those brands
We have come from you nectar!
what? lol

Hey Laguna. It is super nice but i don't know if it will last long since its just foam it will probably feel a little too soft after a year or two if you are both plus sized.

A couple of google & UA-cam searches and now they won't leave me alone...This tells me they have huge sums of money which means their mattress is overpriced.
oh oh good research!
Did I understand you correctly? Do you guys swap mattresses like sheets??? I feel like people wouldn’t normally do that
Hi Corrina, since we started reviewing mattresses we started to get a lot of them... so we try to review a new one every month for people to see how we actually liked them. Its not typical but after we did one video, companies just wanted us to try their other beds as well.
Soo why they have a 10year accidental damage ,for 99.99 if it's forever warranty?
Accident damage is probably not covered by the warranty. Warranty covers things like the mattress sagging too much. I would ask them more about the specifics.

Nice review we just ordered ours today can't wait to sleep on it
Nice! Let me know how you like it.
FabianPort07 I mean there is a pandemic going on sooooo what do you expect lol
This review is right in time for their big sale going on right now! I’m considering buying! Thanks or the review!
no problem man!
Bergendi M the shipping takes forever FYI
I ordered today.. Did you receive yours?.. If so how long did it take??

Does anybody have the hybrid version with the springs? Also, can this be used with a box spring? My bed type kinda needs a box spring.
I think we reviewed it!
Okay you have won, we are going to try the nectar, just because of your review. Over Otty, Emma. £500 for a mattress and 2 pillows
NICE! Don't forget to use the code and link below. it should save you money. FYI I just heard they are not allowing you to return their 400 of accessories that come with it. So that means, you might not get %100 of your money back if you return it. I was unaware of this until now.
Could you review the new Siena mattress (the sister company of nectar) ?
oh yeah sure. I will ask them.
I got one yesterday I hope it’s as comfy as the one y’all have 😭
I hope you enjoy it Brianna! 😊
So do you like it ?
@@shanaeyoung30 I do but I prefer hybrid beds.
@@shanaeyoung30 I’m not on it yet. We move next week so that’s when I’ll be able to try it out and I’ll be for sure to let you know 💕
Is this good for the lower back?
it depends on your needs. If you like a medium feel, its pretty good but if you need more support, it might be too soft for you. If you are around 2.5lbs per inch you are about average. I am 75 inches tall and 195 so 195/75 is 2.6 so i am about average but if you are heavier you might want a hybrid bed.
If you could pick only one tuff and needle or nector?
HI Ioan. I think if you want a comfier bed for cheap then Nectar. Tuft and Needle has nicer beds for more money that I would pick now. Use our black friday links to save money!
Ur video was amazing thank you thank you!!!
thanks for watching.
This or dreamwood?
what is dreamwood?
@@AM2PMReviews sorry just realised I wrote it wrong. I meant dreamcloud
Has anyone had issues with the fiberglass??
I heard some people are having issues now. At the time we recorded this bed it was not a Resident bed so they may have changed it. I am not sure.
After watching/reading reviews and laying on one at a store, it's not what I expected. It's the softest I've ever laid on. Too soft. Even the base foam is soft. The one at the store was firmer than the one I took home. I wonder if there's bad quality control or something and one feels different from the next.
i am not sure. I will do an update on mine but mine is before the company was bought out by Resident so i assume they are different.
Mine was too soft out the box but it firmed up quickly
I just ordered one but i have a box spring
no problem it works with one.
Last night was my first night on my nectar... its the first time in years i woke up still in the same position i fell asleep in and i didn't wake up to use the bathroom 2 times also... I'm pretty impressed with this mattress! Thx for the good review..
Would this mattress be good for a 275lb person?
probably not. I would suggest a hybrid bed for you. Have you seen my other hybrid bed reviews?
At about that weight i side sleep and belly sleep. It's okay, but I'm not a fan of the firmness. It does hold up well but doesn't breathe as much if you put any sort of mattress cover on it.
Does it make you feel hot because I’m a hot kind of person. I used too have a memory foam mattress from Ashley. It was a firm mattress, I really loved the firmness but it made feel hot.
If you are worried about that I would suggest you look at a hybrid bed that we have tried since they sleep cooler normally. Have you seen our Puffy, Nolah, or Saatva videos?
Out of all the bed in a box reviews I have been watching Nectar has the most inconsistent reviews
yes its odd, they are super comfy, they used to be cheaper, they didn't have fiberglass before being bought by Resident. So now there are a lot of changes to consider.
Anyone wanna tell me about serta? My town all they sell is serta. But idk if i want a serta.
they are a big company but I don't know about quality. I think they are big for a reason though.
Your coupon doesn’t work
I am asking them for a new one. I think they just include the discount now in the sheets and pillows and stuff. I will ask.
Loved your review! You guys are so cute. Video needs way more likes.
Why thank you! We try to review a new bed or do a comparison every week!
Had mine for about 8 months. My neck is basically broken from it
oh man i am sorry to hear that. Do you have a better bed now?
@@AM2PMReviews in process of return was looking into the dreamcloud. The nectar has destroyed my neck though. Wake up with tension migraines. It's comfy but mattresses are different for everyone so I can't knock it
My nectar is too firm. It’s nice sleeping on my back but I’m mostly a side sleeper and it’s firm. I’m purchasing a 4 inch topper to help cause I don’t want to deal it’s trying to return it lol. I do have my nectar on a box spring. Would it get softer and less firm if it was on something else?
that is strange since my nectar is pretty soft. Maybe the new ones are different feeling? It shouldn't matter what is is on too much. How is the topoper? Do you feel like you are getting heat trapped in?
You guys get $ from the company i did my research liars!!!
I tried the purple bed… It was terrible
ahahah
I've read that Nectar customer service sucks ass and they don't reply if you experience issues. Can anyone verify this?
i have a friend who just had to contact customer services for his warranty and they replaced his bed.
Why is nectar beds bad for larger people?
They are not bad but I don't recommend them. If you are larger, you will probably feel like it is too soft and it will ear your bed out faster and maybe you might not have the support on the edges needed. That is why i recommend hybrid beds to people who like and need more support.
