Thank you. Ive been wondering why rebar is not working despite being enabled already in bios. did not know I had to use the profiler to make it enabled in win11
I hated the part when I had to download third party software to do this but it worked like a charm so thank you man! I'll check your other videos
The software has been around for ever. it is fine and actually the only way to access these setting. It's
a community hack.
Don't forget to turn off your CSM support. If you don't have resizeable option, check your mobo support or update your bios. I'm with z370 i9 9900k and 3080 ti managed to activate Rebar after updating my BIOS.
There are tons of good tutorial on youtube for updating bios. But Remember, be very careful not to lose power when updating your BIOS or you'll need a new MOBO.

can we get an updated vid on tarkov settings? a lot has changed recently, and with nvidia reflex turned on there is a bug to where your frame rate gets halfed when you switch between maps. and a lot of other settings have changed. there are also 2 new nvidia control panel settings since your last updated one. that would be super helpful.
This got me an average +15 fps on starfield. Amazing!
Me too, I got a 3050 laptop 4 VRAM, before enabling rbar it was at 28 fps or less in 1080 100%, now it runs more than 40
That game is so poorly optimized. Im so glad i just upgraded from a 3060 to 4070ti. Even with that getting like 50fps center new Atlantis. had to mod dlss in and such but I’ve doubled my frames compared to vanilla.

edit: i loaded into fortnite and while the game felt a lot smoother there are random lag spikes almost every single 3 seconds
edit2: apparantly it was because i had uncapped fps so every time i would do a quick movement it would tank down to 70 fps every single time but it works now im playing drg with all ultra settings at 60 fps.

After turning on resizable bar in BIOS and turning off CSM support, i booted back into bios and the option for resizable bar is totally gone. What does that mean
Edit: okay i have the latest bios version but the BAR support was actually under the Chipset tab. However after setting to "auto", Nvidia control panel still has it labeled as "No"
Edit 2: i had to disable CSM and then now Nvidia control panel says BAR is enabled. Super strange but i gymnastics my way through that i guess.

Friendly psa for nivida users, don't use the nivida inspector to force rebar on. Rebar on nivida cards is very very select for which games it improves performance it's not comparable to amd or intel cards where the setting should be on in all games.
I've heard that enabling rebar on a Nvidia gpu gives worse performance in some games, so I decided not to enabling it.
I gained 5 fps in cyberpunk on my 2080 ti forcing it on
@@Cyberware77 It's not "forced" on in cyberpunk rebar cyberpunk is on the supported game list that nivida auto enables it but cool story champ.
@slayerr4365 no what I meant is that I forced rebar on on my 2080 ti because it wouldn't let me before.
@@Cyberware77 That is even possible? Thought it was 30 series and up only. Then again it says only 10th gen intel and up can support rebar but 9th gen got bios update to support it so I don't really know on that front if it works correctly.

Hi, under "Rbar Options" from Nvidia Profile Inspector, what if the games that I'm playing are not on the list? As i see the list of games on the open-closed parenthesis. Would my played games still would be affected on the Resizable Bar enabled even if it's not on the list?
Does it still make some games crash? Or have they fixed the early issues?
Hey Panjno, can you please make a video on CPU overclocking? I benifited alot from your gpu overclocking video and it was quite good aswell. Now i want to overclock my cpu aswell and id like to follow your tutorial on it.
Just set ur cpu core clock slightly higher and test it on ur bios, though if you have a entry level motherboard that won't be a option
basically the same its just with cpu you usually have more headroom, gpu sort of limited as the coolers usually work best for default

I had to update the bios firmaware and since my 3070 is a ventus x3 i had to change his vbios to a suprim X, and it works!
The main issue was that my gpu didnt supported rezisable bar due to the vbios date..... its important to know that.
I activated the rebar option in the bios and it still doesn't work, the amd software says it's unavailable

【Sunglasses Pirates】Thanks, got a MBR so gotta buy a USB stick as i lost one i had with Win 10 installation program and i used 40 euros on that so kidna salty to get a new one but this is a great tutorial it's a must. I kinda feel unprotected while do not have windows installer on a USB stick anyways, so i really want to get that option back and i saved this video for that day

I'm really curious what games you actually saw a 10% improvement? I jumped through a lot of loops and it took 2 BIOS updates to get it to work on my computer. When I got done I was getting like 2 fps on a game I was already getting over 100 fps.

Depends on the game. Disable Rebar on the latest nVidia profile inspector if it gives you problems.
I have that is why I was asking what games saw 10%, most are much lower.
depends on the Screen Resolution. at 1080p you can have a Boost up to ~18%. in higher Resolutions the Bosst is signifcant lower. in UHD ReBar is useless. I'm playing in 1440p and have a Boost ~10%
As mentioned in the video it really depends on the game, and most improvements will be seen on 0.1% and 1% lows (where improvements are most important) but for how easy this is and the fact it's usually disabled by default, might as well!

I went from getting 40 avg FPS in Forza horizon 5 while on the jungle area, and a dodgy 60FPS in all other areas
I'm now getting 90FPS in normal areas, and 80FPS in the jungle..I went from playing high at dodgy 60FPS to Ultra at stable 60FPS...you saved my life..thank you!

I am using the asus g17 gaming laptop. I can see I have a GPT option for my drivers but I can't find "Resizable bar" option in my bios and nvidia control panel either. The nvidia profile inspector shows that I have this option, but it is disabled. Can somebody help me with this please? Thanks

..my REBAR was enabled on my Asus F17 - R7 RTX 3070 Laptop. Just did the settings in the Inspector. But i dont get any advantage... and the last tip with clearing the cmos, wont work on my lap -.-

The whole rebar thing is good on newer cards but anything lower than 2020 you might get worse performance or negligible improvement. Tried it on a GTX 1660 super and got some worse fps gains from it

I have the perfect PC setup to make this work, you have to have your partition set up a different way to get it to work properly which panjno didn't say in any single way, if you check the properties of the partition your system is on, under VOLUMES and partition style, if it says MBR you are screwed and have to go through a whole crap ton of stuff to switch it including reinstalling windows.
So im on a laptop and checked my nvidia system info and rebar is not displayed like no on/off, its literally just not there. Checking BIOS also does not show the rebar option despite having up to date firmware. However, when checking GPU-Z rebar is shown as being enabled. So is it enabled despite not being shown on the nvidia system info and the bios?
I updated the correct setting in bios, updated bios to latest to be even sure. However, the Nvidia Panel still shows resizable BAR = No. any advice?

So from what I understand, I can turn on resizable bar from the bios however as long as I also dont enable from the inspector I will not see the benefits or the drawbacks of resizable bar.
No. If you enable it in bios and leave it off in inspector. It will work for supported games that purposefully support rebar. If you force it in Nvidia inspector all games will use it giving either worse or faster performance.
Great video, but for people that the option was not listed your numbers onscreen are one 0 short. It should be 7 zeros not six.

Hey will there be a new video about optimizing the nvidia control panel without losing graphical fidelity?
His last guide still works fine. Also using some common sense and actually reading the descriptions of the settings helps decide what's best for your system. I for example have turned on DLDSR in NCP due to my monitor+GPU config. But in your case it might not be worth using that technology. If you don't like the effect of a particular setting you can always revert with a few clicks anyway.
