Texture push and caching mechanisms only works on dx9 and 10 games and It's less useful when you're trying to use it on dx11 and 12 games. One of the useful dx9 and dx10 setting is *PS_SURFACE_PLACEMENT_ALLOW* which allows you to place Video objects into shared memory(when you have low vram). It does well with any dx9 and 10 games but It's nearly useless on dx11 and up. One setting that works for all APi is fps limiter.

"Prevent Anisotropic Filtering" sounds like a bad idea to turn on if it really disables Anisotropic Filtering. That should be On and 16x. Drastically improves visuals on distance. But maybe I understood something wrong and it had a reason that you did this. Not sure.

idk man, i have rtx 3060ti, when i tweaked some of these settings like g sync or variable refresh rate to force off (even tho i am not using them) i started getting random BSODs, After reverting back those settings to nvidia recommended settings i'm all good now no more BSODs.

Sync doesn't have to do with ur performance, all that Freesync or Gsync does is sync your fps in the game with the Refresh of your monitor so you have a smoother experience. Also for Gsync to work you need a Gsync compatible monitor or one with a Gsync chip.
just a note, alot of these options just don't affect dx11/12 and apply specifically to opengl which is extremely rare nowadays and the profiler has them well cuz the driver still supports those old games., and um, most of ppl i would expect want geforce/nvid app and overlay related to be outright off, that is one of the biggest hits to performance in that list?
Gsync is made to be used in conjunction with Vsync. Vsync should be set to on in drivers (either NVCP or Profile Inspector). @7:34 you set the anisotropic filtering optimizations to on but then you go and turn it off and prevent it from being used??

P2 cuda state is a power reduction (usually 200mhz vram reduction) when using cuda apps or games using physx (when enabled) to reduce error rate (to get similar stability in cuda as ecc vram). If your vram temps are acceptable and safe than you can disable P2 cuda state for a bit of a performance bump (when doing cuda operations only). This setting has no affect or impact on non-cuda operations. Cards with smaller (64bit-128bit) memory busses will get less of an increase than ones with a wider (256bit-512+bit) bus. To summarize force P2 cuda state= -200mhz off vram speed. So if your vram is 2000mhz, it would run at only 1800mhz when running anything cuda. Disabling that setting lets your vram run at full speed (2000mhz in this example).

I have a copy of the operating system on another drive and it still has the DLSS and DLAA choices . Is there a way for me to reinstall or enable the DLSS again ?
Hi Panjino I need your help, i tried this settings howevers the antialiasing - transparency and the + value 3.00 keeps going back on the specific game I used to it (valorant) it keeps turning off every time im in the middle of the game. Hello so this is my first time in this discord server. So I just build a pc for gaming r5 5600x and rtx 3060. Before everything was fine smooth etc . Recently I have been having issues when playing a game (Fortnite), where stutters occur and fan lights flicker on my pc and whole pc stuttering. I feel that it is the bios or the gpu drivers. Been a long time fan recently migrated to windows 11 and i was unable to make my timer resolution to one milli second it always falls back to 15 ms . can you make an updated video on how to make it one ms like you showed in windows 10?
so for the DLSS 3.1 setting, i changed it in the profile. What do I have to ingame for it to be activated. Like in Modern warfare 2, I use Fidelity Cas. Do I use DLSS Quality? Bc i tried with Quality and it said that the resolution was 66%. Or do I just use no upscaling at all for the 0.80x to activate? I am in a 3080 GPU.
@Panjno, hej, could you find a way to run The Finals in directX 11 mode. This is the main problem of the lags in it - that the game forces directx 12 (as a result, RTX is turned on, since before it could be turned off and it glowed gray in the game settings)!!😘👍
@@Panjno It's sad, because there is a complete disabling of RTX only at 11... I had an FPS limit of 165 at 1920x1080. Pulled High - epic settings. Now no matter what I do, the FPS is the same (135-150 with input lag). Although the game requires a processor, there was a difference in the beta on 11dx...

I turned it off before and it was gray, as a result the picture changed a lot and the FPS increased by 40%. After the release, no matter what you do, the game works in dx12 and rtx is turned on to static rays... even through dxcpl it no longer works.

Nvidia experience baja los frames de cualquier juego de una manera abismal. Salvo que lo uses para grabar clips, no lo recomiendo tenerlo instalado. Una vez que configures las opciones que te muestra el video, exportás la configuración para importarla de nuevo en caso de que actualices los drivers y listo.
Y pero para eso tenes los perfiles que explica al principio, haces un backup y en caso de que se te desconfigure en un update de drivers importas el perfil y listo.

Has anyone messed around with the -3 to +3 Lod (dx) because (on The Finals) I’ve tried +0.5 +1 and +3 so far, def frame improvements but u felt at +0.5 to +1 I had higher fps for sure however at +3 (potato game) I still had fps increase but not as much as +1, instead jsut more consistency, there’s nothing wrong with that I just wanted to see if anyone else is having these outcomes or different ones?

Why tf are you playing Apex on a gaming laptop? If you want to compete at all get a desktop and tune it (intel+nvidia obv don’t buy AMTrash)

Yes, the screen tearing is noticeable, my fps is stable 240 but the game doesn’t fee smooth at all

yes, having NIS on but not in use can cause up to a 20% loss in FPS. panjno explained it in a previous video i watched

So I uninstalled all gpu drivers and reinstalled latest, didn’t fix. I have been having a error of ctfmon.exe. At this point I want to use my flash drive and reset windows. Should I keep the windows 11 older version on their from last year (November) or install latest windows version. Any thoughts or ideas
Been a long time fan recently migrated to windows 11 and i was unable to make my timer resolution to one milli second it always falls back to 15 ms . can you make an updated video on how to make it one ms like you showed in windows 10?
so for the DLSS 3.1 setting, i changed it in the profile. What do I have to ingame for it to be activated. Like in Modern warfare 2, I use Fidelity Cas. Do I use DLSS Quality? Bc i tried with Quality and it said that the resolution was 66%. Or do I just use no upscaling at all for the 0.80x to activate? I am in a 3080 GPU.
Same . I Kept dlss at quality and changed render res to 0.85 but it still renders at 0.66 only

@Panjno, hej, could you find a way to run The Finals in directX 11 mode. This is the main problem of the lags in it - that the game forces directx 12 (as a result, RTX is turned on, since before it could be turned off and it glowed gray in the game settings)!!😘👍
Seems as if they have locked DirectX11 and config options since full launch :(
@@Panjno It's sad, because there is a complete disabling of RTX only at 11... I had an FPS limit of 165 at 1920x1080. Pulled High - epic settings. Now no matter what I do, the FPS is the same (135-150 with input lag). Although the game requires a processor, there was a difference in the beta on 11dx...

@@Sn4p_Fps You're good, man... he's just static... not dynamic! don't repeat after everyone. I turned it off before and it was gray, as a result the picture changed a lot and the FPS increased by 40%. After the release, no matter what you do, the game works in dx12 and rtx is turned on to static rays... even through dxcpl it no longer works.

Why I've got GPU usage on around 80% and CPU usage about 60%, why my GPU doesn't getting something around 90? I've got this in every game. I Overclocked GPU nad CPU, ReBar On, Gsync on

Games won't just use both GPU & CPU (or one of them) at 100%, it's normal, don't worry about it.
I have too much shadow in the game, how can I reduce the shadow?
el detalle es que todas estas config se pierden cada vez que se actualiza automaticamente el driver a traves de nvidia experience (hay que configurar todo de nuevo cada ves que se actualiza el driver)
Y quien carajos se le ocurriría tener instalado nvidia experencie en su PC? Jajaj
Nvidia experience baja los frames de cualquier juego de una manera abismal. Salvo que lo uses para grabar clips, no lo recomiendo tenerlo instalado.
Una vez que configures las opciones que te muestra el video, exportás la configuración para importarla de nuevo en caso de que actualices los drivers y listo.
Tengo entendido q se instala para tener actulizado el driver. @@HuesoToxico1
Y pero para eso tenes los perfiles que explica al principio, haces un backup y en caso de que se te desconfigure en un update de drivers importas el perfil y listo.
@@joaquinbuena8541Yo uso experience y no me funciona mal, obvio tengo todo lo de grabaciones y overlays desactivados y solo lo uso para que me avise cuando hay nuevos drivers.

Has anyone messed around with the -3 to +3 Lod (dx) because (on The Finals) I’ve tried +0.5 +1 and +3 so far, def frame improvements but u felt at +0.5 to +1 I had higher fps for sure however at +3 (potato game) I still had fps increase but not as much as +1, instead jsut more consistency, there’s nothing wrong with that I just wanted to see if anyone else is having these outcomes or different ones?
At that point you're probably hitting cpu bottleneck, so better gpu performance is not making a difference after +1. Just my guess.
