Great work mate
Very good DIY wheel, a friend is building this from your files, well done
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful wheel! Can't wait to build.
Same here!
I can't wait to see the first builds from you guys as for my other wheels. :)
Please lmk how it goes I just purchased the files
Beautiful wheel. Would love to build it but I know it’s way beyond my DIY skills. Still, looks outstanding.
You can do it! I agree, this is a quite complex wheel, but other than that, needs only some basic soldering skills and the 65 page manual guides you trough everything step-by-step.
@@pokornyi.engineering It's not the solder that scares me, its trying to make the grips!
@@MostlyBlindMitch I used HP MJF with soft touch finish from weerg. It's quite expensive, but looks, feels really good and no post processing required. But you can use standard HP MJF print from weerg which is much cheaper and with gloves is still fine in my opinion.
@@pokornyi.engineering Hi! I am thinking of doing the grips by 3d-print a mould and molding it with a 2-component-silicone. What do you think about that?
Really like your work here! Can you maybe make video about the functions, like you did for the LMP Pro? That would be awesome!
Are links to U.S vendors of all the parts we need supplied?
what wheelbase is this for? i have the thrust master TX base and was wondering if that would also need to be changed to use the wheel
Fantastic, hope you ll do others in the future like the Mercedes’ or mclaren or even the simpler Williams one . The merc to me is the nicest looking wheel .
I really hope they do the Mercedes’ too man incredible wheel but redbull is also my favorite so I’m glad they did it aswell
What was the total build cost if you don't mind me asking?
is there a way to build a dual clutch rather than the one used currently?
How I connect with a logitech g920 base? Because i really want one of these wheel.
This would be an awesome project to do! I feel I can tackle everything but one thing. What parts of this are metal and or cut out metal? If this is required, I wouldn’t know how to do this as I don’t have CNC. Is there somewhere I can order a custom cut out in metal of the frame if necessary. Otherwise I have access to 3D printer, can solder the electronics, and so on. Would appreciate your recommendations to the metal cut out deal tho. Thanks!
For our builds no CNC machine required at all. The wheels use carbon fiber + metal strucutre, but all the metal parts are off-the-shelf parts, like spacers, etc. The carbon fiber plates can be ordered from many sources, like the TFS, SZGDCTech, CNCMadness, ... Even the 3D printed parts were ordered from JLCPCB for this wheel. So, only basic tools are required like screwdrivers, wrench, pliers and soldering iron.
Let me know if you have any further questions! Feel free do drop as a mail at info@pokornyiengineering.com
hi i can't find the spare parts to buy on your website of this steering wheel. are all the parts available?
Hey how many cost ? For all parts
F1 pro vs LMP pro, which one of these would be easier and less resource intensive and cheaper to build?
Definetly the LMP Pro.
@@pokornyi.engineering keeping aside cost, how about complexity and skill level
When will the Carbon Fiber Plate Set be up on TheFrenchSimracer ?
About 1-2 weeks.
Do you offer a pcb for this like your others?
Hello ! I have a question is it possible to create our own dashboard?
Yes, of course, it's driven from SimHub, so you can use any dashboard you like or create your own.
Will it be compatible with a fanatec adapter also?
You can attach podium hub to the wheel and use it on fanatec bases.
Is there tutorial for how to put it together on the kit or just the 3d files?
Hey, a 65 page build guide is also included in the package. You can see it here what's all included: pokornyiengineering.com/collections/diy-designs/products/f1-pro-diy-files
Thank you!
Amazing work 👏
Can i buy one from you ?
I don't get it. For what system/base is it?
any
cost of making one ?
The thumb encoders?
What is the question? Those are CTS.
@@pokornyi.engineering i mean are they good?
@@triceratops6369 Yes, CTS feel really nice, they have good detents force
@@pokornyi.engineering thanks 🤗
Are the grips rubber?
HP MJF print with soft-touch finish from weerg
How much will it cost with all the parts??
ABout 4-700 usd, depending what materials you use, which options/optional things you choose, etc.
把手是橡胶的吗?
HP MJF printed with soft touch finish (from weerg)
Why don’t you sell the wheel😅? A bunch of us aren’t able to build it
You can out source it to a printing service. For the boards and the shell it's about 70 bucks
@@Burnerisbrowsing what about electronics?
Yeah all you need to do is soder other than that you just buy the stuff. And btw love the videos and would love to see it in the videos.
🙃🙃🙃😁
