Absolute pleasure watching you driving 😮
Can't wait to try this one, looks awesome!
Can't wait for the release! It will be the first time I'll try to do it myself!
It's released: pokornyiengineering.com/collections/diy-designs/products/f1-pro-diy-files
*FINALLY!* Based on the style of the RBR wheel, very tasteful. I will be waiting for the release.

Great job, very nice 🤩
wow u did it. very nice.
Awesome
Hope the final wheel has the extra two top paddles and a double clutch, i know its not nexessary for a sim, but would love it to be a 1:1 replcia
It has extra 2 paddles and clutch with dual-clutch function. I made a small twist in this part, the clutch is more like from a ferrari, but hope you will like it. :) instagram.com/p/Cgv7hesNQd6/
@@pokornyi.engineering is it possible to add a second clutch?
Are the shift paddles loud?
Can the file be used on 3d printing plastic? Not aluminum or carbon?
that button box is fire. if only there was a version for stream deck.
I always struggle with that first chicane. Good entry but horrible exit losing about 3 to 5 tens lol
The F1 steering wheel is it separated for 3d printing I mean like an stl format
Hi. Is there a PCB board for this wheel?
is this compatible with thrustmaster base t300?
Does it include for the dash and lights setting?
What type of cable are you using? im new to the diy side of sim racing so ive been looking for a cable like that because my current cable is just a normal straight cord and it hangs too much.
I tested many cables. (With proper signal integrity tet also.) I can recommend the coiled cable from Leo Bodnar or cube controls cable.
@@pokornyi.engineering thank you for the suggestions
Your designs are SOOOO good! I want to make every single one of them? Do you provide directions on internal boards and coding?
Of course, everything will be included needed to build the wheel (PCB files, instructions, component list, firmware, ...)
@@pokornyi.engineering how easy is it too build. I have someone selling the circuit board and a vocore screen and a rear. Can I buy the scamatics for wiring and stuff I'll need from you?
@@Simlife101 If you are into DIY and you are patient enough, it's not that difficult.
You can buy everything you need here, 65 page step by step manual included: pokornyiengineering.com/collections/diy-designs/products/f1-pro-diy-files
@@pokornyi.engineering the thing I'm worried most about is programming the board and the screen and also where to get the glass panel that has the name on it and is it possible to get the carbon fibre front and rear case made as I don't have any way to cut carbon fibre cleanly and is it possible tp get the centre frame in metal. Will that be explained in the product files you sell?
I really want to build one but make it well out of strong materials rather than 3d printed but no idea where to get those parts cut in the UK.
Appreciate your reply thank you
@@Simlife101 You can buy pre-cut carbon fiber parts from TheFrenchSimracer (check is webshop) or order it from the other recommended suppliers in the manual.
Uploading the program is not dificult at all. You have to just connect the PCB to your PC as the manual asks, then few click in the flashing program (basically next-next-next-finish). That's all.
As the Vocore screen is a touchscreen and has it's own scratch resistant layer, there is nothing front of the display. You can buy these displays from Vocore.io
The wheel structure consists from carbon fiber, steel spacers and aluminum HUB. So there is no 3D print in rhe structure at all, the 3D print elements are cover parts only basically. I can guarantee you, it's brutal strong.
If you want I can send you step file for the front insert, so you can order it from alu if you want, but that won't be cheap.
Let me know if you have any other question or feel free to drop me a mail to balazs@pokornyiengineering.com
Very good steering wheel, but the encoder knob you designed feels light and not very good, can you change the encoder? I have a good recommendation
Which encoder do you mean? Side encoders are CTS, which have good detends with this diameter, the front encoders are 12 pos rotary switches, which have very high detent force.
I made one.but The MODE rotation switch can only be used by The START and BUTTON positions. Other positions don’t register as inputs in the game. Is this normal?
In the other position the mode rotary selects which inputs the multi rotary belongs to. See the description in the manual about the multi rotary switch pair. So, that switch is not directly an input. It's changing the function of the multi rotary switch which works as an encoder. So you have extra 10x2 inputs with that.
@@pokornyi.engineering understand.thanks
Hi, do you have a Mercedes one?
Wheel looks incredible! Which car is that? The game looks like rFactor 2 but looks almost like the Formula Pro? The halo looks different in the middle though.
It's a f1 2021 mod in rf2
@@pokornyi.engineering Thank you!
your rf2 looks so much better than mine.... any graphic mods?
What mod (car) is that?
I’ve receive from VoCore the display but with the usb-c. They don’t make the classic usb display anymore. Does it work anyway?
Yes, USB-C MPRO versions work also perfectly fine.
@@pokornyi.engineering same as I read in the tutorial for the micro usb? Thx 🙏🏻
@@pokornyi.engineeringDone! The display is working perfectly! Now I’m stuck on simhub. I can’t find the profile I read on the manual “PE F1 PRO”. Why?
The Display works! Is possible to have the scheme/diagram of the rotary PCB? Because i want to use the Greyhill rotary swithes but i cant without it. thx
Can you please sell this as a DIY-pack, with everything needed in one order?
Will this wheel work on any rig ?
Yes. It has 70mm PCD 6x M5 mounting pattern, so basicaly you can mount any type of QR. What kind of base you have?
What is the approximate cost for all materials?
Sorry, I don't know, haven't claculated yet.
How much it cost to build
Is this compatible with fanatec?
Yes, the wheel uses 70mm PCD mounting system, so it works with fanatec bases as well if you have the right QR (Podium Hub for fanatec).
What's the estimated total cost to build it?
It's around 5-600 USD, but ofc depends on many things. So it can be even cheaper or more expensive. Where you order the parts, what material you use, what yo do for yourself, etc. There are some optional things as well like funky switches which can make the build more expensive/cheaper.
top
Will this be on sale?
Yes, the design will be.
@@pokornyi.engineering so you need to create it yourself?
@@fitnesschefen Yes, as you can see I sell only designs whith all of the files needed and detailed assembly manual.
This is incredible! Do you have an estimated cost for all the parts? Obviously it will change over time but a very rough estimate is fine.
What's the total cost of this wheel?
And is it compatible with a fanatic dd2?
@@mogensglistrup8535 it is compatible with any wheel base as long as it has a 70mm qr
Im a little confused… so when i buy the license does it come with the links to the parts used? or is it just the instructions on how to put the wheel together?
Also does the building process require a 3d printer and a plexiglass cutter? I saw on your website that some of the steps may be 3d printed.
@@carstengregoryracing Of course, everything will be included what is needed to build the wheel. Component list, how to order/create the particular components, ... Yes, there are some parts which are 3D printed, but you can also order the printed parts (so I did, despite of I have a 3D printer).
In the title there is test dirve
Thanks, fixed ;)
Could you start actually selling the whole wheel itself? A lot of sim racers want a realistic wheel, and this is one but they don't have 3d printers.
You don't really have to own a 3D printer. For example we have also ordered all the parts for this prototype.
@@pokornyi.engineering So then why does it say your selling files, where do I order the parts to buy this
@@Tradiejoe284 Sorry, I don't understand completly your question. Could you drop us a mail to info@pokornyiengineering.com ?
