I know a lot of people talk about the substance abuse issues and feel bad for Gerard and the boys during this era, but they are absolutely mesmerizing during this time. Sure, some of it is probably booze or whatever, but I think a lot of their amazing stage presence is being a young band, full of energy, not a lot of miles on the vocal chords, and just excited to be there. The band's energy is so intoxicating in the period. Love you, mcr, thanks for the memories

Just an FYI this performance was done on the release date of their album “Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge” 😊 I’d have to say this is my favorite MCR album! Anyone agree? I was only 8 at the time of this release so I’m really grateful my older sister was a big fan and got me into them as a young child! I can distinctly remember being into rap because of my oldest sister, and this being one of 2 albums that changed my personality at a young age. The other being “ In Love And Death” by The Used. Two of my favorite music ablums released 2 months apart! Man what I would do to hav a time machine … miss you sis ❤

So many people at my school say they’re bad. I don’t care how bad they think they are. I used to have very very bad anxiety and during my panic attacks I’d feel like I was dying. I felt lonely, scared, I felt like my heart was just gonna stop any second. But this band saved me. I never got to see them live or meet any of them. But who knew just listening to them or watching them live or even something as simple as an interview could change my whole life. It made me notice that not only was I gonna die wether I like it or not, but that I had nothing to be afraid of and there were people who have experienced the same or similar things.

So many people at my school say they’re bad. I don’t care how bad they think they are. I used to have very very bad anxiety and during my panic attacks I’d feel like I was dying. I felt lonely, scared, I felt like my heart was just gonna stop any second. But this band saved me. I never got to see them live or meet any of them. But who knew just listening to them or watching them live or even something as simple as an interview could change my whole life. It made me notice that not only was I gonna die wether I like it or not, but that I had nothing to be afraid of and there were people who have experienced the same or similar things.
