I was lucky enough to be at this show. Yes Frank was very nervous, he's admitted he's not a natural frontman. However his passion for music is a beautiful thing to watch. He closes his eyes and gets lost in the music when he performs. You can see how much it means to him. I was also lucky enough to see him at Chicago Riot Fest a few weeks later and the improvement in his confidence was amazing. Don't forget they are a new band and have only performed these songs together a few times. At Riot Fest Frank seemed less nervous. He interacted with the crowd more and his voice wasn't as shaky. Yes he is not a typical flamboyant frontman, but I love the fact that he's different. He loves his music and puts his body and soul into his shows.
I agree a lot!! Like he might not sound like what offers would prefer but it's unique. I think he was really nervous here bc it was the first time preforming his latest album with his new band

In an interview he's said he's had to have anxiety medication for shows. More specifically larger shows.
It's so amazing to see how far he's come, I watched a performance from late 2016 and he was so much more comfortable and I'm so proud of him

He's gotten so much more confident since this show. It's amazing. Like his voice is less shaking, he's talking more, getting more into it, opening his eyes more and not hiding behind his hair. I'm glad to see that's he's getting more comfortable with this.

I'm gonna go against some of the comments I've seen here and say that I totally love his voice. It's not perfect, and he's definitely not going to be winning any singing contests, but I sort of think it doesn't matter for the kind of music he's making. It seems like he's returning to his punk roots on this record, and with punk it doesn't really matter how you sound, what matters is the emotion you express. I think Frank Iero's strength as a performer is how incredibly expressive he is. Listen to the opening of "Stitches" or, hell, the entirety of "She's the Prettiest Girl..." and you can really hear exactly what he's feeling, which is its own kind of beautiful.
tl;dr: idk I really like his singing voice even though he is objectively not a good singer?

Have you looked up his size? Hes a smol guy. And I had that haircut and my mom said it was cute (lol, btw ik I probably look different than Frank but the hair is similar) and so that's probably why he's so cute, especially because we get INTO his music and feelings so we almost feel like we know him and a lot of people that know a person well and know they are a good person start to like that person.

I like that the drummer looks like he is really enjoying what he is doing; they all do actually. It's awesome to see that in any band, but it looks like these guys really love it.

The first few times I listened to Stomachaches it literally put me in a trance and I think it has meaning (which is what music should be all about)
Some people are just born with The voice. They just need to work on it. And then there are people who can try no matter how hard and they're voice won't sound the "good" way or how should i say this. But kudos to Frank for standing up there and singing, for trying! because i can tell he's getting better and fuck it, this ain't no opera, it's raw, it suits him :)
This is probably my favorite concert to watch of Frank. Because everything is so new and raw to him and everyone around. It brings a unique energy to the show!
You American and English people are very lucky because you can go see Frank, Gerard and other great bands like The Pretty Reckless on stage easily, while we French don't have so many great bands touring in our country. Like Gee's gonna make only one concert in Paris and I can't even be there :'(

i love seeing how much he has improved when performing live and how he doesn’t seem very tense i saw him live 2 months ago and i had a really good time and he sounds amazing live like the energy he gives off is really awesome and i even met him after the show and he’s so nice and i was able to tell him how much mcr and his own music ment to me and he was super cool with it and he’s so amazing and i was actually afraid to bring up mcr but when i asked him about it he said he doesn’t mind when people bring it up and that it’s actually cool umm but yeah don’t come for me for bringing up mcr when i met him lol
To be honest the first time I watched this video I was like "okay...that's not for me..." because I didn't like Frank's voice, even though I like him.
But this is the 3rd time I listen to it and now I enjoy this video I think :)
