ray toro is a severely underrated guitarist and i think it’s because people don’t expect great musicians from this kind of music
He is an absolutely legendary guitarist in my book
you got it right, the merit of mcr is having the pair gerard way-ray toro geniuses who listen all kinds of music and are very concern with aesthetic perfection
Really is even frank too very talented dudes who don’t get credit.
The reason why I picked one up
he has such a unique style, ive learned a lot of his solos and they're really like nothing ive seen from any other alt-rock guitarist

gerard moves fast. i think that’s part of his disposition i appreciate most, the willingness to move on quickly

@@manymomath5466mcr formed in 2001, after 9/11 Gerard wrote Skylines and Turnstiles and wanted to start a band, that song’s supposed to be the first mcr song written, bullets released on July 2002 so theres like only ten months in between
To be fair Sorrows is in the attic demos so it still is one of the earliest songs
@@tomas_iss7469 Idk much about the history of the band, pretty much all I really know about these guys was gerard created the umbrella academy lol. The last band I researched was Get Scared and I regretted it deeply, so I refrain from that now. With most bands, they write multiple songs that don't really make the cut before they actually go public. Thx for the info though

The first time I discovered this concert video was in Life On The Murder Scene DVD 2 on TV back in 2008 when I was a kid. I was a huge fan of MCR since I bought The Black Parade album. I recall In The End wasn't playing in this concert video but it did shown on DVD 1 (Video Diary, 2 hrs 2mins), the entire documentary in MCR's Life On The Murder Scene. I miss Revenge and The Black Parade eras in my childhood days. I was so addicted in listening to those MCR songs.

This video came out the year I was born! I grew up loving this band and after not thinking it would ever be possible, I’ll be seeing them live this year!
This live show has all the fury and anger that makes MCR an awesome band, old fast and punk songs from the first two albums are amazing and the best way to release the stress of the daily life.
I love how no matter what looks the band as a whole had whether it’s this or TBP or DD Rays always just Ray
