Yup. Can't help but feel he should have had a better vehicle. I like Extreme, but they came along at the end of that era. Nuno should be up there as one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time.
As much as I loved extreme back in my teens I always thought they were more novelty but seeing him play these licks live and I guess we’ll into his 50’s now !! Well I have a new found admiration , he kills it and makes it sound like a studio of engineers are behind him 🤯

Such a self absorbed twat
Another gem of Nuno's is his solo album Schizophonic. He sings and he riffs. These songs meant a lot to me. They seem very personal, it's an emotional album, especially towards the end. The track "Note On The Screen Door". Like several songs on this album, the intro and the verse are creative. Maybe not the Nuno we are used to. Kind of alternative, kind of indie. However, if you make it past the intro and a couple verses, you get to the magic in this song. To the chorus. Big open riff, poppy, hard edge, kinda pop punk, and his vocals are rad, and the lyrics are emotional. He comes home, to a note on the screen door. I imagine it to be a relationship lost, gone to the dust bin of history. A crush that leaves you behind. At 1 mins 23 seconds in to the song, he is still in the slow indie verse, and he says: "to a cold steel edge...and cutsss...cuts like a razor goodbye". Chorus explodes: "SEE YAH, LAYTAH, SEE YAH, laytah....., it's been nice knowin' YOUOUU". It's fucking awesome. 2nd stanza, pre-chorus verse finishing at 2 mins 24 seconds: "into my despair..., and shatterrrs...., like a BROKEN STREET LIGHT, GOOD BYE GOOD BYE" Chorus: "SEE YAH, LAYTAH, SEE YAH, laytah....., it's been nice knowin' YOUOUU" Don't miss it :) ua-cam.com/video/oON4lMNGGeQ/v-deo.html
