6 I, Prophet Kacou Philippe that speak to you, I was born and I have lived on the earth and one day I will leave the earth. But there are two things that I have never understood on earth. First, homosexuality, the fact that a man marries a man, and then, the fact that for Salvation, men are led by pastors, imams and rabbis instead of a living prophet. 7 There is no religion that is closer to God than the other. The way of Salvation is a living prophet. And how can a man be in the will of God without a living prophet? God told me on April 24, 1993: "He who believes in you will come to the waters of baptism. It must be natural water where there are fish. You will turn him toward the east and baptise him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for restitution. This will be the baptism for your time. And you shall not baptise a woman in menses.” And you Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and Hindus, have you also done your baptisms exactly like that since April 24, 1993?

City planners have no power. The only people with the power are politicians. If they want to do something about it, they can get planners to do it. But it needs money, long term backing and the involvement of many people not just planners
Wake up call for city planners? What about Indian scammers, con artists, thieves, hustlers, baby makers? Anyway... it's all the british's fault. If they didn't colonize India, India would be the richest country in the milky way.
I really don't think electric cars are the 'solution' to a city of 32.1million people, projected to grow to 40 million. Western cities are just now starting to realise the error of their ways--or in Amsterdam's case, they've known for half a century--now is absolutely the worst possible time to make as colossal a mistake as investing in the automobile.
No India has decided that it will have a metro train inside major cities and huge 12-20 lane highways connecting them. But how to connect primary stops from metro to secondary stops is a proble.
Public transportation is what our Cities need and considering how almost all our major megacities are in need of almost total redevelopment in major parts of their cities it's possibly the best time to lay out a future model of cities centred around public transportation, quality of life, public and social happiness, and maximum residential and commercial efficiency now as we eventually put major parts of our cities into total redevelopment in the coming 2 decades.
EVs are part of the solution. I agree that we should move away from being dependent on cars but cars will still have to serve some purpose in future cities. Therefore, they might as well be electric.

10:15 Let me clarify this part, The reason why the Delhi Assembly needs permission from the Lieutenant Governor is because Delhi is not a full fledged state/province, rather it falls within a category called "Union Territory", A Union territory is basically Land that the Central government controls and has high authority over. Regular states in India are just the same as American states with minor differences.
@@investmentinfogeek8679 I was responding to his claim that there was a strong aversion to electing public leaders in India. In regular states, public elected leaders hold power and responsibility, whereas in Union territories, the central government is usually the De facto authority, Delhi has its own assembly only because for an UT, it has very high population.

Nigeria may have a bigger per capita (over 20%) but what's the point when India has a higher PPP (about 20%), meaning they get more in real terms, for their money. As a Nigerian I hope you see my point.
Nigeria has a higher GDP because it is specialized in oil exports, India's nominal gdp is low because it produces a lot of goods and services for domestic consumption that are not exported. In HDI terms Nigeria is at 0.54 and India is at 0.65 - quite a big difference. That said Nigeria's coast-adjacent areas seem to have HDI comparable to India - hopefully we see big gdp growth there soon.
@@AKumar-co7oe It is a common misconception that the GDP of Nigeria is based on oil. It makes up less than 10% of GDP. Federal Government revenues is made up significantly of oil exports though. Approximately 55% of Nigeria's GDP is services. Insurgency right across Northern Nigeria and Middle Belt with it's attendant displacement means productivity there is seriously hampered. However it is true the South of the country has much higher HDI, far lower maternal and infant mortality, children out of school and much higher living standards. The latest figures indicating poverty reaching 88% in the North and no lower than 45%. While in the Middle Belt between 22 - 38%,South East it trends at about 24% and South West 12% and as low as 4.5%. So you see it is a very diverse economic outlook. Historically Northern Nigeria has always had poor economic indicators which is why the ' British merged to separate entities ( while effectively splitting it in India) to form Nigeria in 1914 out of North Nigeria and South Nigeria. Southern indicators, particularly South West, usually outperforms India. As you may know we are have been the most successful immigrants to USA for sometime now, out perform all other ethnic groups educationally in UK and more recently our music has gone global. I've heard it even in Portugal. That being said with the utterly inept and corrupt set of people we continually have in government, India is making far greater strides moving forward.

@@yanmi2148 Oil may be a small part of the GDP, but it's a big part of Nigeria's external trade - making up 85% of exports. This in turn increases the demand for Nigerian currency and makes it stronger. India is a net importer of oil which depresses the value of Indian currency. On the other hand this weaker currency has over the years forced india to invest into education and manufacturing to do value addition - while Nigeria has what is known as the "resource curse" or "dutch disease" - India exports more software services than Saudi Arabia does oil.
@@AKumar-co7oe No oil is sold in dollars to the government coffers 85% foreign exchange earnings but less than 50% of government revenue overall. Delhi is a horrible city, I say this as a British Indian who visits India, I come from the South, Hyderabad, Delhi is full of scammers and rude guys. Please don't judge the rest of India like this. The South is much better, if you do ever visit again please make sure you go to Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kerala, these are super modern cities with ancient history, the people are much kinder in their hearts and stay close to true Hindu values such as treating a guest to our home like God, you will find higher English literacy rates, more smiles and scamming is practically non existent as people hope true Hindu values of karma much closer to their hearts so they are better in their hearts, even auto drivers and Street food vendors have refused to take extra money for me as they believe in honest life and honest work, for example the scammers of India live in the North like Calcutta and Delhi, whereas Hyderabad to Bangalore and Chennai is known as the tech corridor with a lot of Western banks and tech companies having massive offices, there's a lot of white people and black people living there happily and they do not get scammed like they do in the North. Please reserve judgement until you visit the south and receive true Hindu hospitality 🙏🏾

Now I live in USA and each time I visit (South India) the development has been great, new luxury outskirts with good infra . hearing many mega Road, rail, and airports etc are under construction will be completed by 2024. Indians needs more infra before it's declared as most populated country, for good or bad we can't control the population there.
I still don't understand why people in India don't try to control their overpopulation problem. 😮 I know it is part of their culture, but there's gotta be a tipping point.
Ths video has shown more of the history of Delhi rather than the current state of Delhi. I am a resident of Delhi and I can tell you that the Delhi that you have shown is at least 10 years old and you have also shown the wrong map of India. Just some old video clips don't make your video authentic but you have correctly shown about the DDA.
Yes it's true..... the sources he's used overall are quite old (apart from the 2018 Gupta talk), and it almost seems like the video is missing the last 10 years of context.
I really appreciate the hard work you did to cover the historic background or Delhi , demonstrating the future and showing excellent view of present Delhi.

It's funny how every city becomes a lot more powerful and stable once it builds out good public transit. Maybe with the exception of a few American cities, but even then compare those with cities like New York, Tokyo, London, etc. and the difference in economical influence is massive.
It's India's time to shine, it will become a very powerful, economical, and highly respected country in the 20th century. The growth potential for India is limitless and I can't wait to see the levels of growth and prosper India can create for itself!
I think its important to distinguish, when you say its GDP per capita is less than the Congo, this is referring to the much less well known oil-rich Republic of the Congo, not the far more populous and influential DR Congo.
Wow, beautifully explained. India is just building itself right now, we must take care that the new infrastructure is top class, and our earlier mistakes will be forgiven.
The music sent goosebumps through my spine. I grew up in Delhi, lived there for 23 years before moving out last year. I miss my home and I wish to go back soon.
12:29 "30 years is not a very long time to develop" Excuse me? India had a much higher GDP per capita than China. 30 years to develop is definitively possible. China was in a much worse position, after being war torn by European powers, Japan, Civil War, Cultural Revolution.
India never had a "much" higher GDP per capita than China. China's development over the last 60 years is the fastest in history. India's is the 7th fastest of all countries in that timeframe - 5th if you ignore tiny nations like Singapore. When you compare the two you tend to neglect the second fact.
Well both are completely different countries, what suits for China doesn't suit for India. India is like European Union, each culture and ethnicity matters, so everyone is not on the same page on everything. NE region of India was very disturbed for a long time, there were communist revolution at some other parts of India too, demands of state based on language and culture were also halted many stuff for a long time and these things are expected in a country like India. Me personally, I don't want my country to be like China, I don't care the slow growth but I want my government to listen to every citizens and how different each and every sections of societies want to live and respect that.

I come from a second world country, so I can't judge much, poverty exists everywhere. But I've seen it all when it comes to India, and what amazes me is that it's a place of paradoxes and contrasts. And not much in a good way. I started watching bollywood movies at the age of 11, little did I know about india as a whole. I thought that it was all colours and bright smiles and romances. Sure, I knew their people were poor also, and that most of them enjoyed a simple life...But now I just can't see it like that anymore. Looking at all the lavishes properties, cars, clothes etc that the bollywood actors have, the nepotism in the industry, the political corruption, the demand for light skin and family connections...i've never seen anything like this anywhere in the world. It's staggering how many people live in that country too. Low levels of education lead to multiple children that one cannot afford to raise. Meanwhile the 2% of the country who is rich, and I mean incredibly rich, could not give a damn about starving children. Day by day, some parts of india live as if they've never evolved, like centuries ago, meanwhile the very privileged talk about Dior handbags and Bali vacations. Children have no shoes on the streets, cow manure at every corner, r@pe and other atrocities... Again, not saying this does not happen everywhere, but not at such an extent and not in such high contrast. The rich live there as if they basically create a bubble around them and ignore the immensly poor completely. How is this not something concerning to live in the 21st century?

This documentary should be a wake up call for city planners in India.. Wonderful explanation! Loved it!
@bruhh5933 I agree. We need population control urgently! Our cities cannot take anymore burden from villagers trying to make it big In the cities!
City planners have no power. The only people with the power are politicians. If they want to do something about it, they can get planners to do it. But it needs money, long term backing and the involvement of many people not just planners
@@jontalbot1 Agree 100 percent!
Birth control
Wake up call for city planners? What about Indian scammers, con artists, thieves, hustlers, baby makers?
Anyway... it's all the british's fault. If they didn't colonize India, India would be the richest country in the milky way.
I really don't think electric cars are the 'solution' to a city of 32.1million people, projected to grow to 40 million. Western cities are just now starting to realise the error of their ways--or in Amsterdam's case, they've known for half a century--now is absolutely the worst possible time to make as colossal a mistake as investing in the automobile.
Before cars people walked and cycled in the cities, now we are realising cars destroy cities and going back to the basics.
Mass Public transport is the way to go
EVs are part of the solution. I agree that we should move away from being dependent on cars but cars will still have to serve some purpose in future cities. Therefore, they might as well be electric.
My visit to New Delhi and Goa was amazing. I live in Utah, USA and can say that India is a country with great culture, food, and people. I cannot wait to go back and explore more of the country!

South India per capita 4000$ approx 300 million people
Goa per capita 25000$ 20 million people
Maharastra gujurath 3500$ 300 million people.
Punjab Delhi haryana himachal part of UP sikkim
Uttrakhand 3000$ 300 million people approx 1 billion population is rich middle-class
100 million ultra rich
Only 300 million are poor in india
230 million are not too poor Labour class
70 million poverty.
Most exchange in the economy comes from remittances .Both are developing let's not argue about our poverty levels but how to get equal per capita to Europe whom are now.enjoying the benefit our exploitation.

What they really need here is electric trams. I went to Delhi some years ago and despite being ripped off everywhere, being subjected to harassment for foreign currency etc, nobody having change in any shop , it was obvious that the city was hopelessly polluted. Get all those scooters and other polluting vehicles off the road, before it becomes uninhabitable.
So true. I visited Delhi a few days back, was rather surprised to see inequality. And the sewage going right through the heart of the in open. Disgusted and surprised at the same time.

India is a proof that captialism is 100 times better than socialism, i wonder why we still have the word 'socialistic country' in our constitution...
Socialism isn't a bad thing. But the way politicians execute the model is very bad
@@prasanth2601 dude its not just politicians
Its plain simple human mentality
A system like socialism is just not incentivising for people
@@aaryankumar8770 It's still a good system
@@prasanth2601 only in name
Socialism is good on paper
But it ends up breeding corruption and demotivates people to work because there's basically no way to go up
I come from a second world country, so I can't judge much, poverty exists everywhere.
Love this video, very informative! 💪🏻💪🏼💪🏽💪🏾💪🏿🔥🚀🥰😍🫡

From 1757 to 1947 (190 years) under British Rule India has not seen any rise in person capita income. Looted India to the tune of equivalent of 45 trillion dollars (15 times India's current GDP). These Britishers now lecture the world on human rights, democracy, freedom, free world, righteousness.HAHAHA 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁☀😁😁
Ahhh yes. Keep saying higher numbers. 4 years ago ot was 1 trillion then 4 trillion. 10 trillion. And then 20 trillion. Watch you Indians say " 80 trillion) in 2 years.
England made india
@@martinwilby8942 England made India poor by looting $45 trillion worth of money and resources.
@@martinwilby8942 then for what they finding India before ?
@@martinwilby8942 they left a 3 way divided free for all massacre situation when those Anglo swines left. The ones who made I do to what it is today were the astute statesmen like Pate who literally stitched the fractured provinces and kingdoms into a union.
So no, the Anglo saxons didnt make India.
Excellent video, great hardwork,Next video on my city Mumbai ❤️Love from India ❤️
Edit:Few things not added in the video as mentioned by some viewers in the comments is The installation of new CCTV cameras,New and upgraded government school, Upgraded footpaths and cycle tracks. Also The new RRTS system under-construction and new railway station built.
Private sector is doing its best to develop India and improve infrastructure. Government and foreign funded NGO' S are doing its best to play politics and discourage any form of development, so that India remain poor for eternity.
i am not sure if this post refers correctly to a perfect explanation to Delhi and India, I am well educated by your video and very impressed. sending many loves from South Korea, Gyeonggi-do
Delhi's transformation over the years is absolutely fascinating! From the chaos of unauthorized settlements to the efficiency of the Delhi Metro, the city embodies the spirit of resilience and progress. It's incredible to see how historical events and modern challenges intersect here. The sheer scale of its population and the diversity of its residents make it a truly unique megacity. Can you imagine what Delhi will look like in another 10 years? 🌏✨
Maybe 15 kids per family isn't such a good idea. They also pollute their own doorstep. It's disgusting
Delhi metro is a thing of history now.
India now has a much better public transportation than it previously had.
India doesn't have anything like delhi metro

Delhi ncr gdp is higher than new zealand's total gdp...higher than entire pakistan's total gdp and offcourse double the size of ukraine's economy.

Entering the country of India, the guards had no issue with entry identifying as Jewish
Why should that be an issue
India is secular.
Delhi and whole of india is really held back back by the colonial structure of power that has been kept in place by the politicians to divide and conquer.

Why do all the film makers (without exception) look away or hardly mention the exploitation done by the Brits -the greatest in history, of the Indian wealth and resources
sadly Delhi govt is not taking part in developing any infrastructure, especially related to construction, Constructiion related things are being built by central govt only
Really like documentaries like these they give you an insight
