Very helpful and clearly explained. I've just gotten started in wire-working and I was wondering how y'all made prongs for your jewels. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful and thanks so much for watching! Debbie is a great teacher. We'll be releasing part 2 this Friday, 2/11 and you'll learn how to make a figure-8 bail. Hope you can tune in then.

Most definitely...I will be there...thanks again
I guess we just get spoiled with youtube giving us so many artists. But this is interesting, anyway.
Hey Debbie, can you use round wire for prong setting or would it only work with half round/square wire only?
When creating prong settings, it's important to use half round wire. It secures the piece in the prongs better.
It’s difficult to see the silver wires against such a light background. Maybe try a darker one next time.
Please zoom in a lot more. The prong is maybe 1/8" on my screen.
Too bad the very end of every video is blocked out by the thumbnails for the next videos. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Not completed piece.
You're right. This video (part 1) was about creating a prong setting. Tune in this Friday, 2/11 for part 2 as the project continues.
