Those are so adorable. Gonna try making those. 😍
Thank you Suzanne, I too love Apatite anything!!. I love this design, quick and easy. I (we) hope you consider doing more tutorials and often, you are the best. 🙏🏼💗
I learned a trick from a friend on how to measure for the end loops. She used a bead. Put the bead on the end and cut the wire, when you take the bead off you’ll have the perfect length for your loop. Depending on what size loop you want will determine how big of a bead to use. No measuring.
These are adorable!
These are adorable!!!
Thank you so much for showing us these
Thank you, Susan. I watch all your ring videos, and I got the supplies, but I need to actually make one. I will. I will!

Excelente vídeo muchísimas gracias por compartir Bendiciones 👍 ❤
Thank you four thips and inspirațion!👍👏🙏🙏
I love this tutorial! I am definitely going to try this one. The simplicity of the design and the way the gemstones just pop there is very appealing. Thank you!
I've been making jewelry since grade school and started working with wire about 15 years ago. (I actually taught wire soldering for a while and it was a lot of fun!) I saw this video come up and decided that it looked like it was very easy and fun project, so I'm going to invest in a few of the tools I don't have (the mandrel, the ring sizing tool and the rounded pliers) so I can start making some beautiful rings in sterling and copper, as well as stones such as turquoise, onyx and amethyst. Thank you for this amazing tutorial!! 💜💜💜
Just lv watching you thanks for sharing
thank you 👍
You are so cute “miss always right!”
Love this ring
I love you Susan…just so you know, you are not a little bit olf a perfectionist. You are a full blown one!😊 And so so cute!
Beautiful! I'd love to see some memory wire ring ideas. TFS!
Great idea! We have it on our list!
Cute rings.
Excellent tutorial! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I subscribed. It looks like I need more tools!
Nice and easy rings very genius lovely sister 🤗👌
Clever way to create a closed ring! I think this makes so much more sense than having the wire tie off on the bottom of the ring shank like many designs do. Can't wait to give this a try.
Love these! Always look forward to your tutorials! ❤
What really super cute rings. Thank you for mentioning the flying wire, children, pets anyone in the room can also be a victim. If you want your copper wire to be shiny after it oxidizes get a jar with a lid put in about 2 cups white vinegar and 2 heaping tablespoons of table salt stir and store for continuous uses....once you put your tarnished pieces in it stir well for a minute or less, it turns bright before your eyes and the vinegar sanitizes your beads/stones., rinse well and dry. Loves your little jokes, good to see you back.
Thanks for this Deby! We would caution that porous stones like pearls, turquoise and coral will be damaged by vinegar. Also, softer stones on the Moh's Hardness Scale, like beryl, apatite, fluorite and feldspars such as agate, sunstone and labradorite. We actually don't recommend cleaning your gemstones with anything but a mild soap and tepid water. Just be super careful to "know your stone!"
@@JewelSchool Thank you so much for that information. Have a great day and stay safe and well.
Please make every ring, bracelet, and necklace that you wear. I can't get enough.
They where great classes
Me too, definitely! Funny lady😄
Great video Susan!! I'd love to see more rings with a larger single bead (no solder). Perhaps a coin shape or nugget? Thank you!
Wow, that would be amazing!! Sounds lovely and these would be absolutely striking! Great suggestion!! 🙂
Very nice
This is perfect! Thank you. Maybe you can show us braided rings and brackets
Great idea!
Me emcantó estos anillitos para mi nietecita y sobrinas👭🎁

Not yet!
Thank You for sharing your talent and tutorial. Very easy to follow and clear information. Love the rings.😍 can you get Sterling silver wire. As I am allergic to other materials.
Yes, there is .925 sterling silver wire on the market.
Please please can you do a tutorial on that snake ring you have on? I love it! 💕
Hey Katt! The snake ring was a gift to Susan from another artist.
Love this ring tutorial. ❤ Do you have to hammer this piece or can you just leave it round? I know you said it’s for the look, that’s why I’m asking.
Muy lindos💍
Hi Susan...I just love the ring on your right hand!!! Could you show us how to make it??
Hi Jennifer! We've asked Susan to do a tutorial, but she said this particular ring was made for her by another artist!
@@JewelSchool thank you
just found your ring that looks like a delicate tied bow, do you have a tutorial for it? Maybe its a butterfly, cannot tell from the screenshot I took. U were wearing 2 of them on one hand in I think it was a recent tutorial. I love love love your work and demeanor.
We don't have a tutorial for that ring yet! Sorry!
Nice from india 👍
Great tutorial, thank you! I was wondering where you got your 4mm gemstone beads from?
JTV is one of the largest retailers of loose gems and jewelry, plus beads and jewelry-making tools! Check out the link to all of our bead inventory on Jewel School: www.jtv.com/category/jewelry-making/beads/_/N-1547377695?mcid=XSOjsyt
Love this!! would it work with a bigger bead? Just make the loops bigger?
Sure! Give it a try and let us know!
Great tutorial thank you! Could we use 14 gauge wire for the ring band?
As you know, 14ga will be much less malleable that the 16ga, so it may take you a bit longer to form the wire. Give it a try and let us know how it goes!
I would love to see how you made the oxidized copper snack ring you’re wearing! Does this exist somewhere?!?
love your videos. Very easy to follow. Can I make these with gold filled wire or does the hammering damage the gold cover ?
Gold filled wire can be lightly hammered without damage.
Thank you for sharing these great videos! We just started making our own jewellery.
Question: what do you do with all the pieces you cut (silver and copper), do you throw them away or is there a way to reuse it?
🙏🏻
Regards from The Netherlands 🇳🇱
You can melt them down if they are pure silver and copper and use them to make other jewelry. Sometimes you can turn them in to a business that accepts gold and silver and get money back for them.
@@JewelSchool is it possible that you make a video about this? I mean melting and creating a new thing out of it? That would be great!
I hope you will do a tutorial on the other ring you have on the copper one
Hi! That was made for her by another artist. We have had a lot of requests for it, so we may see if we can get permission to re-create it!
Love love these. Where do I get wrap n tap tool?
We are sold out of it at the moment, but a quick internet search for "wrap n Tap" plier, will get you to a few reputable jewelry tool sites!
great
Can we see how you made the other ring you had on?
We've asked Susan to do a tutorial, but she said this particular ring was made for her by another artist!
@@JewelSchool darn, ok. Thanks for the response! I’m loving all the ring tutorials! I really like the more simplistic designs! Would like to see more tutorials on earrings too ❤️❤️
Can you do the serpent ring and some others like it
Can someone recommend the best acrylic sealer to use on them? Thank you so much in advance.
Here is one! Alchemy jewelry sealer: www.jtv.com/product/alchemy-jewelry-sealer-bundle-includes-4-oz-and-2-oz-spray-bottles/ACC053
Hi, I love your videos because you explain things so well! I hope you don't mind me asking as this is a little off topic to this video... I have a real gold nose screw that is made with thin gold. You know the one where you screw it in to the peircing and it sits flush on the inside of your nose and wont fall out like the typical 'L' shae studs. This is more a 'C' shape. Problem is wire is too long and so it tickles my nose and hurts as its abit sharp at the end of the wire. I would like to cut it a little shorter and reshape it so the curl in the wire is close to the inside of my nose. Sort of like when earing studs are too long and keep poking behind your ear! Hope that explains it well. What tools would I need to buy to reshape to creat a soft bend and also to cut and smooth the end of the wire please? X
This is a tough one! Only because without seeing it, we can't really say. Here is our best "guess" and this is really what it is - is you can try to flush cut it shorter and use a battery operated wire rounder to round and file it off. Beadalon makes a good one. If we're talking about extra long stud posts, then this is exactly what we'd try. You can also try a flat file if you don't want to invest in the battery operated version. This is assuming that it won't destroy the parts of the wire where it screws into your nose. We really hope this helps!
@@JewelSchool i think the file is the better option as it isn't a screw in the traditional sense, it's smooth jewellery wire but the shape is the 'screw' style when you insert the jewellery. Essentially sits flat on the inside as opposed to an L shape where it easily pops out. Really appreciate the reply thanks!
I like gold color wire but the color rubs off in a matter od hours. What should I buy?
Hi.are these sturdy? I find when I make rings they are too bendy/flexible.
Yes these are sturdy. Especially if you work harden them with the hammer like Susan does in the video.
Hi,
These are really nice and like them very much. Can I make them and sell them on my online shop?
Technically, you can. A good rule of thumb is that as a courtesy to the designer (Susan) you should give her credit or you can change the design to make it your own! If you do that, we can't wait to see what you come up with. Good luck!
@@JewelSchool thank you so much and definitely will keep you posted once I make one.
Where do you buy your precious and semi precious stones and your wires? Thanks.
Why from JTV and Jewel School of course! Here is a link! www.jtv.com/jewelry-making/_/N-375228644?mcid=XSOjsyt
I love this ring, but how do you keep them so round?? Mine always appear to be oval, no matter how many times I put it on the ring mandrel!
So annoying, right!? LOL As with anything, practice is key. You can twist the ring on the mandrel once it's finished to help round it back out. If using bare copper wire like in the video, You can "lightly" hammer it while it is on the mandrel to help round it back out as well. Then just use your chain nose pliers to help get it even across. Just keep at it and you will make it happen! Good luck!
I am sorry but I don't own a big bail type of pliers.. I do have the smaller one. Could you explain what you can do if you don't have one? Thank you for taking time to read and respond to my questions.
The bail shaping pliers are a great investment if you can get them. Honestly, you can use anything round, like a wooden dowel. You just have to measure to make sure it's the size you want or you could just use a ring mandrel if you have one to shape the wire around. You can use your normal round nose plier to make loops, just be sure to mark your plier so you get the same size every time! Hope this helps!

Do you ever solder with the stone inside the huggie/bezel.
It's not recommended! Most beads or natural stones are not heat proof and can disintegrate or melt during high heat!
Can u pls write down the tool materials name please. This will be easier. Love ur videos
