I’m sure it amazed you just as it amazed me how at 17:00 when you sprayed the camera the only part of the lens that wasn’t covered with foam was the part that kept your face fully in frame. Unintentional I’m sure but what a great shot...perfect detail as well!
I never thought watching a 30mn-long video of a grown man clean up a filthy car inside and out would be that interesting. Impressive! Great Job ! It shows how much you love cars and your job in general. Wishing you all the best. Cheers from France.
I like the ones where minor repairs are done, or the ones with minor miracles on the upholstery! Something satisfying about watching that dirt get pulled out.
Cars in the U.K are usually priced pretty fair for what they are worth, there isn't much money in giving them a clean-up. The real car cleaning money is in what he does already.
Personal favourite: The "farmyard" Audi TT. You could have grown crops in that thing. Favourite pars of videos in general: (1) Steam going in one vent and coming out of another, (2) Exterior grey plastic brought bach to black.
Another triumph. My favourite videos are the ones where there is some sort of repair that goes along with the cleaning. The red Astra and Blue Volvo Estate come to mind. The dirtier the better, more satisfaction from those videos. Thanks for another wonderful show.
Thanks for all the videos....ive never commented before but in answer to your question I think the minor repair/refurb videos are my favourite. Stuff like the Volvo about 9 months ago. Crash damage/MOT failure and disgusting filth everywhere. You're a mechanic, it's nice to see junk get refreshed. Best wishes.
The last video on the Honda was the best for me - that had all the elements that make a good video ....some wee tips and tricks, product info, a few nice fast forwards through the repetitive stuff ....just a well edited vid with good tunes :) I'd like some more product information in future vids, especially on what's been shit in your experience. My car has never been cleaner since I started watching this channel 😂
Thank you! Your the first detailer (that I've seen) who's told us what the job costs. That makes the video much more enjoyable. 180 pounds or 238.00 dollars / 8 = $30 per hour. Not bad at all!
I’d be ashamed if that was my car, Who even lets it get that bad, On another note it’s people like this that keeps him in a job.. which he does brilliant 👍🏼
My favorite video was the blue Volvo that had damaged to the left front. It was amazing how quick and easy you fixed it. The detail was fun to watch as well.
I think this was my favorite one so far. Did you see when Moose ran through when you were dressing the tyres 😝?! My favorite part was when you were polishing the car and we could see your dull reflection on the parts you hadn't gotten to yet. As you went down the car more and more of your reflection became crystal clear. I found a new appreciation for polishing today! The whole vid was superb though! That steam and vac combo for the storage compartments... So simple, so effective, genius! Even on the limited budget you turned this into a brand new car. Many other places would have not gone as far as you did. Thanks for your quality, your care, and integrity! These videos make my day!
Some of the stolen recovered ones gave an insight into the miraculous transformation that is possible for an auction car. . I thin k one was a Ford the other was a Mazda 6. You show pride and enthusiasm and the end results reflect the labour involved. Quality viewing and good advice on products and techniques. 🙂
I love watching the vacuuming and extracting the shampoo and dirt. I’d love to see the dirty water being emptied down the drain as some people show that. Excellent work, I love watching you!
I love these type of videos and work as there's nothing better than the satisfaction of the end results and makes it even better seeing how the customer is just amazed the turn around
The effect on that snowfoam shot couldn't have been more perfect the uncovered spot framed you perfectly. Awesome job as always. To answer your question, this one just due to how well it came up and the great advice you give
Your videos are therapeutic, wife is confused as to why I'm watching a British guy detail cars. My favorite ones are the cargo vans, such a difference. Keep up the great work, wish you were in Alberta, would totally be a regular customer.
Congratulations Amy and Gary, each video is better than the last one, the quality of the onscreen remarks, the different camera angles, variable playback speed, and overall the professionalism of your "performance" as you're a lot more confident and comfortable being onscreen. Excellent - 10/10 Cheers and Merry Xmas to all from Christchurch NZ. Best video- this one for the reasons above, but they're all great, in the end it's really about the pleasure we get seeing you again and the excellence of your work.
Hello, Autoshine Cars! Just found your channel a few weeks ago via a comment in one of The Detail Geek’s videos, and I’ve been binging your content ever since! The video I’ve enjoyed the most so far is the stolen car cleanup with Danny W.’s artwork on it. It was such a huge transformation, and I never knew you could remove spray paint from a car so easily with a little tar remover! I can only imagine that those impounded vehicles are the vehicles you end up putting the most work into, and the difference in before and after really shows! Appreciating all of the hard work you put into these details!
I watch just to see the before and after. I am always amazed how dirty people keep their cars, and amazed that the carpet and seats can be cleaned of the filth by you.
Excellent work as always! Question answer: loved the dirty merc. The dirtier the better. Love your commentary you do over the video. I’d love if it was possible to have a “car owner reaction” and see how they react to what you’ve done with their muck mobiles! Don’t stop doing what you’re doing. Love all your content and am always excited for the next video. X
This is the second video in less than a week where I’ve seen fingernail clippings! Is this a new trend?! Fantastic results, looking wonderful! I really enjoyed the Astra “series “ and that Filthy Fiesta (the first Autoshine one I saw). Keep up the great work!
I've watched your Ford Fusion that was tagged by Danny a few times now. My favourite parts are vacuuming because it's crazy how much better a car can look with just a little vacuum.
Honestly most of the videos are great. What I find that makes them better than other detailers is the music. It makes a difference. Keep up the great work. Also having Moose in your videos. He makes them better than everyone else’s.
I liked the grotty zafira video the best. But the camera angles are good on the videos and the editing is great. The interesting thing is how well the makes of car come up after a clean i.e. how durable the plastics and fabric are after abuse.
My favourite video was probably that Ford C-Max you did. That car looked so far gone it was beyond salvation. You did an amazing job at turning that car around. I would have never believed the state it was in beforehand, had I not seen the start of the video.
Favourite part is seeing how your steam cleaner blasts away ingrained grease and dirt with ease , no one particular video stands out as they’re all very good and edited well , maybe the absolutely filthy hovel cars being brought back to life are particularly pleasing but as I say they’re all cracking vids , from a PNE fan too !,
Great detail, amazes me how people can drive and sit in a vehicle that dirty, can't be good for your health if there's mould. I need to clean mine at least once a week, and I only do 200-300 miles a week if that. Keep up the great work.
Extra length is good....I really enjoy seeing you clean filthy seats, cloth and leather, and filthy carpets. I guess I just like seeing you clean filth. Even the outside. Thanks.
Haha. Before you started talking about the back seats I was about to type that the base also folds so that the seats fold flat with the second boot floor level. That leaves a space underneath. Now ours is very clean so never needs a vacuum there. Although I have seen Peugeot lift it up when they were inspecting the diesel fuel pump. They just remove those screws and they pivot backwards.
you deserve every penny you charge the customers.. Great videos to show the dirty car owners.. I saw you do that silicone dressing thing and I use that on ours cars as well especially for the door cover at the bottom, great idea.. scuff no more ..

Hey Gary....the work you do on these cars is absolutely impeccable! I would let you do my vehicle if I lived over there in the UK. You have a very good method of cleaning all of your cars. I always look forward to the next video you post. Thanks mate!!
I enjoy all of them but the ones with the small repairs the most, for instance the one with the volvo v70. I also like seeing the dog wondering around and growing up.
Personally I don't have a favorite. Enjoy watching the transformation, the before & after. I like the steam cleaning parts the best. If I were closer to your shop, I'd bring my car over in a heart beat.
I spray any silicone type dressings onto a cloth or small piece of sponge, and apply it that way. This keeps it off the steering wheel, pedals, gear lever etc, but especially the car's carpets, ( stopping silicone eventually getting on my toilet and kitchen floors coverings via my shoes and sock, creating an accident waiting to happen situation). Great videos that also inspire me in detailing my Nissan cube Z12. Many thanks, and by the way your accent is very nice to listen to.
Looks really really good! I didn’t think it was that bad, except for carpets and seat. But after seeing the outside done, it was really BAD! My favorite videos are the ones you buy to fix up and resale!!
I like the videos where you buy a car at auction and show us what you do to get it ready to sell. Also when you replace parts and paint stuff in addition to cleaning.
