And they also usually mark the car somehow to make it more recognizable so they can more easily take it back.

How does a car even get this bad it’s gross
@@tristanlinde when someoneis that deep into their addiction(s), things like keeping the car clean fall way down the priority list, usually its not even on the list. Their life becomes a viscous cycle of hustling for money to buy drugs, get high, sleep (if it's H their using), wake up and plan how to get the next hit so that they don't get dope sick (withdrawals), rinse and repeat- they were probably so used to the smell that they didn't even notice. Not to mention that the smell built up over time, so I'd bet they wouldn't have been able to tell how bad it really was.
Exactly
The way you capped that needle made my heart drop. Always scoop the cap with the needle. Never have your hand opposite the needle. One wrong move/slip and BOOM HIV/Hepatitis
This happened to a well intentioned friend of mine, several years ago. 6 months of medication and treatment to prevent potential infection and multiple subsequent tests to verify infection didn’t set in anyway for 2 years after... it was a nightmare but luckily nothing ever came of it... probably because intervention was immediate. Scary stuff! All from capping a needle wrong at a park clean up!

Go down to your local Fire Department and explain your job function. Explain the random needles. Ask about obtaining a dose of Narcan to keep in the detail bay. Learn to self administer it. It's a good thing the new owner got a deep cleaning done on this car. I just hope she made more changes to make the car less identifiable. The needles and dirt cheap price have me thinking this is a scam car, I've seen it happen a lot especially when I lived in Winnipeg. Someone would sell a car for dirt cheap, then just go and basically steal it back later. They'll usually keep a spare key to make it easier to enter the car.
