There have been some positive improvements. Even the name of the factory has changed to the Tillamook Creamery. Thanks for watching, liking, commenting, and subscribing.
Next time we are in the area we are going to check out some of the places you have mentioned in this video! We haven't been to Tillamook in several years, wow they have really expanded! Great video this time! :)
Just love your videos on the Oregon Coast as I’m hoping to relocate there & live in my RV full time when I move in a few years. Thanks so much you guys.👍🏽
Love your video, we also live in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon) and you have a great line up of videos I'm going to watch. Thumbs up and keep em coming it's always nice to see things I may have missed and would like to visit in the future.
We used to see that years ago in Tillamook. But we've been around thousands of "tourists" in Tillamook and haven't seen them holding their noses. We're holding our noses in the thumbnail, as a play on "cutting the cheese" - which we feel most don't want to smell (what that connotes, that is lol). Thanks for watching and your comments. Hopefully, you liked something about the video. It was our intention to show a few of the sites - not necessarily to draw attention to what tourist do with their noses. LOL. Fun area. We know several people who've made Tillamook their home and they really enjoy it.
Been to the Tillamook cheese factory a couple times and really enjoyed the visits. First time was in mid 60’s when I was a teenager and the tour area was a small room with a big vat where they were separating the curds from the whey. Very few people around and small operation compared to today. Visited again about 15 years ago and thought it had changed greatly then with all the crowds and many buildings. I guess I need to go again to see the new visitor center. Sorry you guys didn’t get the ice cream ☹️. Glad I have access to their ice cream here in Texas now. Thanks for the enjoyable video. 👍
That's great that you have a visitation history with the "factory." It certainly has changed. We managed to wander around and take a peek, without being in too much of a crowd. We quickly fled to the less crowded coast. Thanks for watching this one and sharing your memories with us.
You guys are certainly in the right part of the country! Here in the northeast bout 35mi west of Cape Cod it's mid to high 80s with high humidity and dew points....ugh....
The humidity has been high where we've been, but much cooler as you noted. It has been quite comfortable. It was about 30 degrees warmer 60 miles away from us - which we were happy to avoid. Thanks for watching this one, Curtis. Stay cool :)
Hello from Magnolia Texas! Just a note to say how much we enjoy your videos. Can you please tell us where you got the teal water bottle holder? Thanks so much and looking forward to your future videos! Safe travels!...Louie & Barbara
Hello from a WiFi hotspot somewhere in the PNW. We're glad you're enjoying our videos. Here's a link to the water bottle holder that Susan uses: amzn.to/2Mp8sJy Thanks for watching, liking, and commenting.
"That's dog fur", "shut up". Hilarious! Love tillamook. First went to the cheese factory in 1967. Yikes. You have to be hard core and go when they open and be willing to have ice cream for breakfast. No lines! Love the air museum as well. Any camping recommendations in the area?
Terrific video guys! We are headed to Oregon next week to see our son in Portland and hope to get to the coast too. From the way Susan was dressed it looked like it was a bit chilly. After a brutally hot summer here in the midwest we are looking forward to some cooler weather. Keep up the terrific videos, we love seeing them!
Interesting to see Kilchis Point ~ we spent a couple of nights at Kilchis River County Park (inland) and it was fantastic! Then at The Blue Heron French Cheese Co I nTillamook ~ super cool! They were building the new Tillamook Cheese Visitor Center when we drove by ~ wow they went all out. Fun video :)

Very cool, nice finds. Bigfoot Hair, Dinosaur Bones, and Cheese 🧀....

Same. 🙋🏼 you can always spot the tourist when they walk around holding their noses.

We weren't there, so we cannot say for sure. However, our comment was regarding the first "pioneer." Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍🏻
